Danke für dieses aufschlußreiche Video. Dadurch kann ich wohl sagen, das mir der kleine XV ausreicht. Ich fahre zu 95% Stadt und Landstraße und dafür ist der Wagen okay. Alles gute!
The review idea is out of the box and I liked your driving.. but still the driver's opinion is essential. Keep this good work up, while considering this simple note.
@@simaodocaminhao I know... You have to remember that: 1. It's a Petrol engine. 2. It weighs 1.4 tons. 3. It is automatic. 4. 4-wheel drive. For me it's ok, I drive max 15k km/year.
@@mesesambobywell said, the voice of reason. I had one of those rare Subaru Impreza RC hatchbacks in the UK. 1.6 engine with manual gearbox, tough car, only 114bhp but as all boxer engines, you need to get the revs up to 3 or 4 k to make good progress. Once used to the way they work I could fly ! As you say though, a heavy car with AWD but it handled so well. A lot of people out there dont understand Subarus or boxer engines or CVTs sadly either in general. None are light and they expect BMW performance. Subaru dont want those sort of buyers anyway because only proper drivers deserve Subaru. Happy motoring.
@@AutoPOVDrive Thx, this car is on my short list, but I am little scared about this engine,my use is little city and rest normal road's, so it is ok for a family with 2 kids? I am not a racer , a lot of speed camera's and so on!
A lot of people say its underpowered, but for what its designed to do and the type of customer I think its fine. Cheap to buy in the UK with the 1.6 second hand with low miles. Tough car, not a sports cars but will get to the speed limit and keep up with traffic no problem, but lets remember, speed limits are just that. An upper limit, not the minimum which a lot seem to think. On the motorway this will sit at 70mph. No problem. A lot of Subaru haters come onto UA-cam and leave uneducated, ill advised comments. I think a lot has to do with the fact that Subaru has rebranded itself into offering reliable tough cars for all weathers, with emphasis on safety and handling, NOT power, and people cant seem to grasp that. Id buy this.
Its slow compared to a 420i or something ! Really, there is nothing wrong with the 2 litre. Ive just watched this chap driving the Forester eboxer in another video. He gets up to speed really easily and doesn’t even go above 4k revs ! Its how you drive them, and guess some of us have more experience.

I drive that, the performance is enough for me. a nice and safe car
I'm about to get one. Is 114hp enough power for this car (save overtaking etc.)?
Is it comfy enough for longer trips?
longer trips with this car fun. Also overtake ,Works very well. The safety systems guarantee relaxed driving.
Funnily enough I saw a 21 model year Subaru XV today with the 1.6 engine, you can tell because the wheels are a different design.
Great car. Plenty power for good drivers who stick to speed limits
Thanks for watching!
Best car ever!!👍👍
Hello Europa I'm from Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 Subaru good car 👍👍👏👏
Welcome 👋
at 1:53 what's that parking all about on the right ?? The silver car is blocking the road !
Thank you!
You bet!
Fuel comsuption? Thanks
I have the same car. 11 l in the city 6-7l outside, 8 on the motorway running with 130 km/h.
@@mesesamboby That's almost the same as my 2005 Legacy 2.0R (165hp). I would expect bigger improvements to fuel economy in a 15 year newer model
@@mesesamboby wow 11 l in the city for such a small and relatively underpowered car is a lot.

Super!!!
Thank you
average fuel consumption?
Great! It is the engine good enough? For normal use?
It's ok for normal use.

@@oddities-whatnot This type of car I looking for, reliable and honest!
No carro é lindo
great car but the crunch is very tiny unfortunately :-(
TROT COOL
The sound was loud or it seem like that to me?
Its a boxer engine. They are more vocal. The revs are higher because of the CVT. I could write a book…..
Eu amo te assitir
Obrigado por assistir!
