Make sure to weigh your box and what you're loading up before you buy shipping. Normally a racket is around a lb, but if you're shipping with a case, it'll put the weight over 2lbs.
I've had many interesting interactions with the USPS when I show up to drop off boxes like this

Good point. Pretty lucky that rackets don’t come with cases really anymore so it typically can be under that 2 pound weight 😁

Can you please show how you create the shipping label for this box? I have issues finding one. If you could do a video and show how to label it properly, that would help a lot. Thanks!

I make the label through USPS with stamps.com but you can also go to any post office where they can create a label for you

@@SolowSports thanks! I tried doing that and when I selected priority shipping this box did not come up for selection.

@@annaiina4679 I just googled it and the box comes up here: store.usps.com/store/product/priority-mail-medium-box-option-1-P_O_1092 . You can merge two of these to ship as explained in the video. Also for shipping you simply select "priority mail" you dont have to select a specific box to buy postage.

Following this advice you're locked into a $15 USPS dimensional surcharge and some of the most expensive shipping rates because it's priority shipping only. But hey, you don't have to buy a $4 box. Genius!

I don’t believe you watched the video. I ship rackets for $7-12 depending on the region and have done so for 15+ years. As stated in description and video, do NOT use flat rate. Use a “mailing box”. Technically USPS doesn’t offer much other than priority bc a racket and box weighs over 1 pound so with this system you get free boxes, $100 insurance, tracking, and expedited shipping all included in the price. Lots of benefits. (you can do something similar with UPS as well)

@@SolowSports Lol, you're not shipping rackets for $7-12 priority. First of all, nothing ships for $7 priority. The closest that comes to $7 is a flat rate envelope at commercial rates and that's $7.20. No racket is going to be shipped priority in that price range even at commercial rates. There is a $4 surcharge on any package over 22" and a $15 for anything over 30" with priority shipping and every racket is over 22" and many flirt with 30" when boxed up. You're video is telling people to ship priority because they get free boxes but then it locks them into priority shipping which is going to negate any monetary advantage saved on the cost of a box and you know that. I ship products for a living and your video is going to cost people more money than they should be spending on shipping.

@@bobfarley4102 Unsure why you are so aggressive with this video. We absolutely pay $7-12 for all US and territories with this method and have for a long time. Its even great for our clients who do multiple rackets as it can be $7.50-$14 for 2 rackets and $7.75-$15 for 3 rackets. Happy to share screenshots of our rates here as we ship 10-20 rackets a day with this method. Its really great :)

@@bobfarley4102 Its a fact that 2x priority mailing boxes linked together and not flat rate boxes will be shipped in an expedited manner with 100$ insurance, tracking, and more for only $7 within your postal region and $12 across the country. I apologize that you are incorrect in your shipping experience and we will continue to use this system and hope others can take advantage as well bc its a great solution to sending rackets efficiently, inexpensively, and with most materials provided at no charge.
