In what is most likely the true ending (Connection Terminated), we learn the whole place was just an enclosed system of vents made to lure in the last remaining animatronics. There were never any guests to begin with, just recordings of people and such.
I like to imagine that while in the middle of singing a song, Rockstar Freddy will stop and start demanding guess pay him 5 coins for him to continue singing the rest of the song. He very quickly became hated amongst the guests.

I know this is a silly joke, but it just occured to me you could categorize it this way: 100 years later, we've advanced so far in technology that motion picture capturing captures color and sound, that we've created screens of thousands of tiny lights that can display whatever image you want, and a connected network spanning the whole world (and SPACE!) where people can communicate using images on those screens, and sounds of their own voices, and music, and everything you can think of. And it's so commonplace that people can use it to talk about silly things, like games (made entirely on these devices!) and stories that they enjoy, and share those silly things with the _whole world._ And the cars may not fly, but we do have air traffic! You can still use flight to travel! Idk, I've always enjoyed these jokes but it just now sort of hit me that we're glossing over some insane and truly magical things we have in comparison. So maybe this will make someone feel a bit more positively about how far we've come!

I feel like the reason they're so forgotten is their overlap with a toy animatronics but also because they're not possessed they don't actually have a soul in them. They're just the animatronics as they were originally supposed to be and unlike the security breach ones that have full-on AIs these are just Chuck e. Cheese characters

Things I think. 1. What if Henry repurposed carnie into lefty in order to find and contain his daughter. 2. Since lefty was designed to contain the puppet perhaps the rockstar animatronics were designed in a similar fashion but never got to show it. 3. Since el chip shares a similar design maybe he was made around the same time the rockstars were.
Yeah I think it was implied in Help Wanted 2 that Carnie, an early aniamtronic, was reused to make Lefty, which makes me think all the Rockstars and probably El Chip too are reused from a similar time as well.
Something that i don't see many people talk about. I was taking a closer look into Lefty's model from Fnaf Help Wanted 2, and i noticed a brown tint on his legs, and a little bit on his torso. Could be evidence that he is indeed a reporpused Carnie.
Fun fact; the office sections in pizza sim actually take place during the day and not at night. Handunit confirms this on the first day and you can even faintly hear party’s going on during gameplay. That makes Lefty’s role in the game even more confusing since he’s in the vents during the day but he still somehow entertains the kids during the day.
More characters need more recognition. I would say Afton in FNAF Security breach need some explanation of his disappearance and not appearing in FNAF ruin.
It's funny how it seems like the rockstars have way more recognition outside of their original game. I remember that a long time ago there was a news report about someone throwing a Rockstar Freddy plush on top of a roof and they had to call the fire department to get him down. Also, I mean this with 100% sincerity, I would love to hear Rockstar Bonnie and Rockstar Chica's voices return in some way. I love them both so much, easily two of my favorite voices in the entire series. It pains me that they only got to shine in UCN. Carnie also has one of my favorite voices, that type of voice he has was always one of my favorite types of voices to listen to.
I love Carnie so much, I'm super sad he only appeared in FNAF VR 2. He is my favorite character and I hope he gets more screen time soon. I love them, even though they aren't the fandom's favorites, they are mine, specially how their personalities gives them more diversity than any of the other animatronics. Also side note of some things you might be interested: 1. In the HW2 files, Carnie's folder name for the model is called "Barker Bear" which could have been his original name. 2. It's very under the radar, but El Chip is technically a Rockstar as well since his model is the same as the other rockstars. (colorful cheeks, knees, upper eyelids, jaw design, 5 fingers, and 4 toes.)
That is possible although I don't know if they have a certain connection necessarily. There's been talks about "Glamrock golden Freddy" or "Glamrock Fredbear" has made appearances at some weird occasions.
There's only so much you can do to be a populat animatronic in Fnaf when there's not a dead child/dead serial killer/killer ai/etc possessing you. Funny that ulitmately, they are indeed the safest animatronics overall, in-universe (well, the safest versions of the main cast at least). Maybe, if it was possible to interact with them in Fnaf 6, they could've become more popular? Oh well, what's done is done. What i think is funnier is the fact that the gameplay of doing tasks happening during the day (as stated by the robot voice and background sounds), which means that Lefty, if bought and on stage, has to stop performing to go try kill Mike which i think is hilarious
ALSO. The rockstars were kinda meant to be placeholders, in-universe, I'm pretty sure. I don't think it was a mistake. They're, like you said, a fazbear facade to hide something deeper. And I think it'd be neat to have the rockstars somewhere in the abandoned freddy's under the pizzaplex. Iin fact, I think that's what the classic animatronic models were placeholders for in the old unused version of one of the ruin dlc maps. I think it was either that or fredbears idk could be either. I just wanna explore the depths of the fazbear tunnels some more. Hopefully as a continuation of Cassie's story. But I've already come up with an entire plot for a potential second dlc for security breach, so I'm not gonna keep rambling about that here-

The Rockstars are my favorite and have been for years, they DESERVE more attention in the games and that is 100% why they don't get much attention in the fandom. Their designs are really great. I was so glad to see Carnie bring the style back, but sad to see them not all return in Help Wanted 2 where they should have been given that chance to shine. Their personalities are good, I'd say even Rockstar Freddy shows a clear personality through his renders, they have a lot of potential. Since they don't attack in Pizza Sim, they are presumably non-hostile outside of UCN, but they have a default liability with no explanation ever given. There's more questions to answer about them and I hope that will be explored one day. Fun fact: the Rockstars (and Mediocre Melodies) also can react to novel situations in intelligent ways, like Carnie did. One of the lawsuits in Pizza Sim proves this. They probably also knew when Henry burned the building down. But who is surprised to see Henry creating something that can think and then destroying it! Another fun fact: The Rockstars' mechanics in UCN are a reference to the 5 stats in Pizzaria Simulator (Freddy: Bonus Revenue, Bonnie: Entertainment, Chica: Health & Safety, Foxy: Liability, and Lefty: Atmosphere) which is really clever.
It makes me so sad how unpopular they are, so much that I only remember ONE fangame that has them.. it became literally my favorite fangame when I saw that it was about them.
It's crazy to think how overlooked the Rockstar Animatronics are in the FNAF franchise which is sad. But it's understandable why they lacked new unique designs since they were used for the trap to kill William Afton in the fire.
Personally aside from ucn the rockstars (aside from lefty) feel like an indirect weapon to use against the 4 evil animatronics in pizzeria simulator to help lure them in.
I personally think that if Carnie was used at Fallfest, it could be that there was a person nearby or maybe in a booth behind him voicing him to heckle the character. There's a few similar things in amusement parks and fairs where you have someone puppeting or controlling an animatronic and speaking through a microphone nearby. Plus since fall fest was so early on I feel like it'd be hard to get them as sentient as some of the other animatronics.
I love the designs of the Rockstars so much. I think they could still absolutely be a hit, but they'd need their own game for it. One where they're not just like... standing there. A side game, maybe? I'd love to see something that really focused on and took advantage of their really interesting personalities. I love how you say "crazier things have happened" and then actually give examples, that got a laugh from me. I think the reason Carny looks like the rockstars isn't because he IS one, but because he was designed by the same person. They existed in very different times, so I think it's less that he's part of the band and more a lore hint.
Do you think that lefty could be a refurbished carnie? This is a very long shot, im talkin 100 yard football kick, but it's just some fun thoughts that could conjure up something in the community. If you look at burnt carnie's model, you can just barely see that his right eye is more withered. You may have to squint. But say that at that time his right eye got replaced because it was the most damaged of the two, after decades of collecting dust and rotting away, the untouched eye could have decayed to the point of becoming black. As Henry repared carnie to become lefty, the original eye may have stayed or been replaced with a new black eye for a unique touch. A more realistic approach could be the lefty's design is INSPIRED by his burnt orginal. The eye rotted eye i just mentioned could have inspired the black eye detail. One specific character of that I think could drive home this theory is the color. Burnt carnie is a muted brown with white char accents. But if you were to scrape all of burnt plastic off, you be left with a black tarnished metal. Notice that lefty is not solid black, but a metalic, gun metal black. I think it is possibe that lefty is either a repaired version of carnie, with it's new design based on the chared scraps of the original, or lefty was a completely different animatronic who's build was inspired by the remains of his counterpart. By the location of Fazer Blast and hint we see, I think that carnie was most likely a part of Fall Fest(most likely the 1970 event) if so, do you think it's possible that carnie was one of Henry's first animatronics. That was a whole decade before our first look at fredbears. Whether or not Fredbear's opened before 1983. I highly doubt that it was an establishment before 1970. I noticed that there is no sign of Freddy’s or Fredbear's on the poster. Which leads me to believe that this fall fest may have predated everything. The running theory is that the mediocre melodies were his first animatronics, made to rip off Freddy’s fame. But being that we see an animatronic a decade before that, that closely resembles one of his final animatronics. It really seems that carnie could be his first. Here's some food for thought. Henry has been deemed a copycat in the early timeline for the mediocre melodies. But if he made his first BEAR animatronic at a children's theme event in 1970, is he really the copycat? If William stole the idea and made Fredbear's, and Fredbear's became as big as it did. No one would bat an eye at a small carnival with a simple bear animatronic. I don't know if I like this idea, but I'm just throwing everything I got to see what sticks. Is it possible that William set the carnival on fire to one, preventing it from becoming more successful. And two, to take that idea and reuse it for himself. I don't think he was pure evil at this point, or really evil at all. But it's still just a thought. I don't really think that lefty is a remade carnie. I think it's possible that the design could have been inspired by the withered design. But I doubt that they put that much thought into a connection like that. I am pretty confident, though, that carnie was most likely the first and that Henry was never really the copycat. But more so, tried to reclaim the ideas stolen from him later on after William's fame.
I think the entire reason they exist is only to make people not question lefty, they think it's just a freddy variant and not some weird trap for a dangerous haunted puppet
@@notrealnamenotatall2476 There's also the fact the building is like 20 miles underground and I don't think it actually had real visitors, the numbers seem made up since how would anyone even find the place, so they wouldn't ever get a good look at lefty and would just see it brought in with a rockstar animatronic, unless these things were in another building beforehand since you buy them from a catalog
I love the thumbnail, seeing them all together. No doubt about Lefty's place for me, they're in the Rockstar achievement. I would argue El Chip is in the same style and belongs here if Carnie does, and I believe he does. Like I said on the community post it's a shame the Rockstars were cut from Ruin in an early version of the Candy Cadet area.

One of my favorite things about your content is how much you mention the Silver Eyes trilogy, even just in passing like you did here. It's not really a thing other FNAF creators do so it makes your style incredibly unique while also being a nice wink and a nod to the comparatively few of us who read them.

I've always liked the designs of the Rockstars ! To me it always appeared as the right middle ground between Classics and Toys (and maybe even the Funtimes). I also think, just like for the Mediocre Melodies, UCN is clearly the game that defined the little we know about their personalities. I liked the addition of Carnie to HW2 (even if it was small and not really important). They will always have a place in my heart as the least important band of the franchise but one I find charming enough in that regard.
i never realized until this video how genuinely underrated they are, at least in my opinion--like sure they aren't the most standout or anything (as pointed out, lol) but i genuinely really like the designs and stuff tbh
No real reason why, but this is my favorite FNaF band so far. Maybe it's something about the designs, like a mix of the simplicity of the classics and the complexity of the Glamrocks (I know they came after, but I couldn't find a better comparison). It could also be their really unique personalities that aren't just the common "nice dad, violent guy, and... *Chica."*
The next fnaf game needs to be a road trip where the Rockstar Fazbear triplets come together to overcome their differences and explains how Lefty lost his eye and why Carnie had to distance himself from his brothers

It's a shame that they never caught on like the other bands. I personally like them, especially Foxy and Chica, Rockstar Chica being my absolute favorite. I love her southern accent and personality
I just noticed that the rockstars are a sort of combination of the withereds and the toys. Their shape are the same as the Withereds but with other features from the toys like Freddy being more chubby, Chica having less teeth on her beak, Bonny having a face, and Foxy having a second head in the form of a parrot, with both him and the parrot having one eye. On top of that the owerall smoother, cleaner and more plasticity shell. Also their fifth member is litterally the Puppet being trapped in a bear (like Fredbear or Sping Freddy)
Just in a weird way the actuators on the lower jaw almost makes them feel less mechanically advanced then most of the models. However, with the plasticy look, while being less advanced than the toys, may be a jab at how modern fazbear entertainment is a bit underhanded and went with cheaper models that still worked.
Kinda unrelated but I had a thought recently that if the rockstar's would of ever appeared in the books that they would of appeared in a sequel to the fourth closet where Carlton is having horrific nightmares after being injected with remanent and a new Freddy's has mysteriously opened with the Rockstar's.

at 9:03, there's actually a second difference that lefty and carnie have that rockstar Freddy doesn't. Lefty and Carnie have a slightly larger nose. Lefty's also a lefty but you could get that from the name.
2 Things: Perhaps Carny is modeled after Rockstar Freddy because he's likewise supposed to be a swindler like that animatronic's personality in Ultimate Custom Night, as well as IRL carnies. Also, if Lefty is in UCN, is the Puppet also inside of it, or are they their own character?
I think a part of the reason the rockstar’s just didn’t imprint on people was because of the timeline (THE IRL NOT THE IN GAME) Sister location had already given us a fresh view on this idea of “modernized” looking fnaf characters like with Funtime Freddy and Funtime Foxy, and then the next game after UCN gave us a “modernized” and super high tech cast of characters. The rockstars, as cute as they are, are much more generic looking in comparison to what came before and after. I mean, we even see a Funtime Chica in Pizza Sim and her design still seems much more unique and high tech in comparison to the band. We’ve already seen the “new and improved” high tech makeover before Pizza sim, and they simply just don’t stand out among the fun times and their very unique look, and they continue to look bland and commercialized looking in comparison to our newest crew (doesn’t help that THAT crew has 10x more personality in SB then the rockstars in their debut). To me the rockstars just felt like a very sanitized and kinda boringly “safe” design for the main fnaf crew. Like they were made with Afton Robotics image and corporate desires in mind. Of course there are obviously fans out there (love Crooner Bon and Extortionist Freddy) but their general design just feels like filler after we had a taste of a truly unique take on the Freddy look (much more leaning into the creepy sci-fi future aspect, and not the corny 80s entertainment) and then only being proceeded by an iconic modern variation that really blew up in people’s subconscious.
If only carnie existed in 2014-2018 bc im positive scott would’ve ABSOLUTELY give him an actually fitting design because fsr scott rarely reused character models (for better like the withereds or worse like scraptrap).
If Help Wanted 2 gets a DLC, I genuinely hope these guys make a return there. I'd love to see an expansion of their personalities and maybe even see if they get some lore.
There is potential that the Rockstars were going to make a cameo in Ruin. In the old version of the Mimic's room there is a stage with the Classics, who were likely stand-ins for either the Rockstars or Mimic's mascot costumes.
This is a small thing, but I find it fascinating that Rockstar foxy is both pretty chill and friendly, because of the fact that in most things in universe, he's seen as the weirdo loner and a grumpus. Granted the foxy we face is far more influenced by his haunting, but it's an interesting change. It implies some sanding off of his edge for the final locale
This gaggle of freaks have always been up there for me (especially Left.E for obvious reasons, singin Bonnie and Foxy + his pal) not sure why I latched onto this group so much but I guess they just stood out so much like the Toys did when they were introduced. To summarize what I originally said (in a much more well thought out and detailed explanation, thank you _youtube_ ) is that essentially the liability mechanic is all for show. In what is most likely the true ending (Connection Terminated), we learn the whole place was just an enclosed system of vents made to lure in the last remaining animatronics. There were never any guests to begin with, just recordings of people and such.
I like to imagine that while in the middle of singing a song, Rockstar Freddy will stop and start demanding guess pay him 5 coins for him to continue singing the rest of the song. He very quickly became hated amongst the guests.

Things I think.
1. What if Henry repurposed carnie into lefty in order to find and contain his daughter.
2. Since lefty was designed to contain the puppet perhaps the rockstar animatronics were designed in a similar fashion but never got to show it.
3. Since el chip shares a similar design maybe he was made around the same time the rockstars were.
Yeah I think it was implied in Help Wanted 2 that Carnie, an early aniamtronic, was reused to make Lefty, which makes me think all the Rockstars and probably El Chip too are reused from a similar time as well.
To your second thing, I actually have seen a theory that the Rockstars were the springlock hybrids explained by Phone Guy in FNAF 3.
Something that i don't see many people talk about. I was taking a closer look into Lefty's model from Fnaf Help Wanted 2, and i noticed a brown tint on his legs, and a little bit on his torso. Could be evidence that he is indeed a reporpused Carnie.
Fun fact; the office sections in pizza sim actually take place during the day and not at night. Handunit confirms this on the first day and you can even faintly hear party’s going on during gameplay. That makes Lefty’s role in the game even more confusing since he’s in the vents during the day but he still somehow entertains the kids during the day.

It's funny how it seems like the rockstars have way more recognition outside of their original game. I remember that a long time ago there was a news report about someone throwing a Rockstar Freddy plush on top of a roof and they had to call the fire department to get him down.
Also, I mean this with 100% sincerity, I would love to hear Rockstar Bonnie and Rockstar Chica's voices return in some way. I love them both so much, easily two of my favorite voices in the entire series. It pains me that they only got to shine in UCN. Carnie also has one of my favorite voices, that type of voice he has was always one of my favorite types of voices to listen to.
I love Carnie so much, I'm super sad he only appeared in FNAF VR 2. He is my favorite character and I hope he gets more screen time soon. Thank you for shedding some light on such an underrated character. Just waiting for Funko to make merch of him. He is my baby forever. He is so sassy and it makes me sad when he was screaming in his last moments.

I love them, even though they aren't the fandom's favorites, they are mine, specially how their personalities gives them more diversity than any of the other animatronics.

1. In the HW2 files, Carnie's folder name for the model is called "Barker Bear" which could have been his original name.
2. It's very under the radar, but El Chip is technically a Rockstar as well since his model is the same as the other rockstars. (colorful cheeks, knees, upper eyelids, jaw design, 5 fingers, and 4 toes.)

Funny that ulitmately, they are indeed the safest animatronics overall, in-universe (well, the safest versions of the main cast at least). The Rockstars are my favorite and have been for years, they DESERVE more attention in the games and that is 100% why they don't get much attention in the fandom. Their designs are really great. I was so glad to see Carnie bring the style back, but sad to see them not all return in Help Wanted 2 where they should have been given that chance to shine. Their personalities are good, I'd say even Rockstar Freddy shows a clear personality through his renders, they have a lot of potential. Since they don't attack in Pizza Sim, they are presumably non-hostile outside of UCN, but they have a default liability with no explanation ever given. There's more questions to answer about them and I hope that will be explored one day.
Fun fact: the Rockstars (and Mediocre Melodies) also can react to novel situations in intelligent ways, like Carnie did. One of the lawsuits in Pizza Sim proves this. They probably also knew when Henry burned the building down. But who is surprised to see Henry creating something that can think and then destroying it!
Another fun fact: The Rockstars' mechanics in UCN are a reference to the 5 stats in Pizzaria Simulator (Freddy: Bonus Revenue, Bonnie: Entertainment, Chica: Health & Safety, Foxy: Liability, and Lefty: Atmosphere) which is really clever.

It makes me so sad how unpopular they are, so much that I only remember ONE fangame that has them.. it became literally my favorite fangame when I saw that it was about them.
It's crazy to think how overlooked the Rockstar Animatronics are in the FNAF franchise which is sad. But it's understandable why they lacked new unique designs since they were used for the trap to kill William Afton in the fire.
Personally aside from ucn the rockstars (aside from lefty) feel like an indirect weapon to use against the 4 evil animatronics in pizzeria simulator to help lure them in.
I personally think that if Carnie was used at Fallfest, it could be that there was a person nearby or maybe in a booth behind him voicing him to heckle the character.
There's a few similar things in amusement parks and fairs where you have someone puppeting or controlling an animatronic and speaking through a microphone nearby. Plus since fall fest was so early on I feel like it'd be hard to get them as sentient as some of the other animatronics.
I love the designs of the Rockstars so much. I think they could still absolutely be a hit, but they'd need their own game for it. One where they're not just like... standing there. A side game, maybe? I'd love to see something that really focused on and took advantage of their really interesting personalities.

Do you think that lefty could be a refurbished carnie? This is a very long shot, im talkin 100 yard football kick, but it's just some fun thoughts that could conjure up something in the community.
If you look at burnt carnie's model, you can just barely see that his right eye is more withered. You may have to squint. But say that at that time his right eye got replaced because it was the most damaged of the two, after decades of collecting dust and rotting away, the untouched eye could have decayed to the point of becoming black. As Henry repared carnie to become lefty, the original eye may have stayed or been replaced with a new black eye for a unique touch.
A more realistic approach could be the lefty's design is INSPIRED by his burnt orginal. The eye rotted eye i just mentioned could have inspired the black eye detail.
One specific character of that I think could drive home this theory is the color. Burnt carnie is a muted brown with white char accents. But if you were to scrape all of burnt plastic off, you be left with a black tarnished metal. Notice that lefty is not solid black, but a metalic, gun metal black.
I think it is possibe that lefty is either a repaired version of carnie, with it's new design based on the chared scraps of the original, or lefty was a completely different animatronic who's build was inspired by the remains of his counterpart.
By the location of Fazer Blast and hint we see, I think that carnie was most likely a part of Fall Fest(most likely the 1970 event) if so, do you think it's possible that carnie was one of Henry's first animatronics. That was a whole decade before our first look at fredbears.
Whether or not Fredbear's opened before 1983. I highly doubt that it was an establishment before 1970. I noticed that there is no sign of Freddy’s or Fredbear's on the poster. Which leads me to believe that this fall fest may have predated everything.
The running theory is that the mediocre melodies were his first animatronics, made to rip off Freddy’s fame. But being that we see an animatronic a decade before that, that closely resembles one of his final animatronics. It really seems that carnie could be his first.
Here's some food for thought. Henry has been deemed a copycat in the early timeline for the mediocre melodies. But if he made his first BEAR animatronic at a children's theme event in 1970, is he really the copycat? If William stole the idea and made Fredbear's, and Fredbear's became as big as it did. No one would bat an eye at a small carnival with a simple bear animatronic.
I don't know if I like this idea, but I'm just throwing everything I got to see what sticks. Is it possible that William set the carnival on fire to one, preventing it from becoming more successful. And two, to take that idea and reuse it for himself. I don't think he was pure evil at this point, or really evil at all. But it's still just a thought.
I don't really think that lefty is a remade carnie. I think it's possible that the design could have been inspired by the withered design. But I doubt that they put that much thought into a connection like that.
I am pretty confident, though, that carnie was most likely the first and that Henry was never really the copycat. But more so, tried to reclaim the ideas stolen from him later on after William's fame.
I think the entire reason they exist is only to make people not question lefty, they think it's just a freddy variant and not some weird trap for a dangerous haunted puppet

I've always liked the designs of the Rockstars ! To me it always appeared as the right middle ground between Classics and Toys (and maybe even the Funtimes). I also think, just like for the Mediocre Melodies, UCN is clearly the game that defined the little we know about their personalities. I liked the addition of Carnie to HW2 (even if it was small and not really important). They will always have a place in my heart as the least important band of the franchise but one I find charming enough in that regard.
i never realized until this video how genuinely underrated they are, at least in my opinion--like sure they aren't the most standout or anything (as pointed out, lol) but i genuinely really like the designs and stuff tbh
No real reason why, but this is my favorite FNaF band so far. Maybe it's something about the designs, like a mix of the simplicity of the classics and the complexity of the Glamrocks (I know they came after, but I couldn't find a better comparison).
It could also be their really unique personalities that aren't just the common "nice dad, violent guy, and... *Chica."*

I just noticed that the rockstars are a sort of combination of the withereds and the toys. Their shape are the same as the Withereds but with other features from the toys like Freddy being more chubby, Chica having less teeth on her beak, Bonny having a face, and Foxy having a second head in the form of a parrot, with both him and the parrot having one eye. On top of that the owerall smoother, cleaner and more plasticity shell.
Also their fifth member is litterally the Puppet being trapped in a bear (like Fredbear or Sping Freddy)

Just in a weird way the actuators on the lower jaw almost makes them feel less mechanically advanced then most of the models. However, with the plasticy look, while being less advanced than the toys, may be a jab at how modern fazbear entertainment is a bit underhanded and went with cheaper models that still worked.

at 9:03, there's actually a second difference that lefty and carnie have that rockstar Freddy doesn't. Lefty and Carnie have a slightly larger nose. Lefty's also a lefty but you could get that from the name.
2 Things: Perhaps Carny is modeled after Rockstar Freddy because he's likewise supposed to be a swindler like that animatronic's personality in Ultimate Custom Night, as well as IRL carnies. Also, if Lefty is in UCN, is the Puppet also inside of it, or are they their own character?
I think a part of the reason the rockstar’s just didn’t imprint on people was because of the timeline (THE IRL NOT THE IN GAME)
Sister location had already given us a fresh view on this idea of “modernized” looking fnaf characters like with Funtime Freddy and Funtime Foxy, and then the next game after UCN gave us a “modernized” and super high tech cast of characters. The rockstars, as cute as they are, are much more generic looking in comparison to what came before and after. I mean, we even see a Funtime Chica in Pizza Sim and her design still seems much more unique and high tech in comparison to the band. We’ve already seen the “new and improved” high tech makeover before Pizza sim, and they simply just don’t stand out among the fun times and their very unique look, and they continue to look bland and commercialized looking in comparison to our newest crew (doesn’t help that THAT crew has 10x more personality in SB then the rockstars in their debut).
To me the rockstars just felt like a very sanitized and kinda boringly “safe” design for the main fnaf crew. Like they were made with Afton Robotics image and corporate desires in mind. Of course there are obviously fans out there (love Crooner Bon and Extortionist Freddy) but their general design just feels like filler after we had a taste of a truly unique take on the Freddy look (much more leaning into the creepy sci-fi future aspect, and not the corny 80s entertainment) and then only being proceeded by an iconic modern variation that really blew up in people’s subconscious.
Rockstar animatronics are genuinely my most fav type of animatronics, there's just something about them that makes me like them

If only carnie existed in 2014-2018 bc im positive scott would’ve ABSOLUTELY give him an actually fitting design because fsr scott rarely reused character models (for better like the withereds or worse like scraptrap).

There is potential that the Rockstars were going to make a cameo in Ruin. In the old version of the Mimic's room there is a stage with the Classics, who were likely stand-ins for either the Rockstars or Mimic's mascot costumes.
This is a small thing, but I find it fascinating that Rockstar foxy is both pretty chill and friendly, because of the fact that in most things in universe, he's seen as the weirdo loner and a grumpus. Granted the foxy we face is far more influenced by his haunting, but it's an interesting change. It implies some sanding off of his edge for the final locale
This gaggle of freaks have always been up there for me (especially Left.E for obvious reasons, singin Bonnie and Foxy + his pal) not sure why I latched onto this group so much but I guess they just stood out so much like the Toys did when they were introduced.
Anyways, that aside do you have any video plans for 100k considering you're getting so close to that milestone? Personally, I would love to see some kind of celebratory video, but of course it's up to you!

Something i noticed is that Rockstar Freddy somewhat resembles fredbear as depicted in the fnaf 4 minigames, with the metal rods for jaw movement as well as the purple hat and bowtie
