Well done Lee, the old fella is a bit of a veteran but he’ll do the job & who knows it might grow on you & you keep it. It ticks the boxes so far. Hi Lee, it's funny how in different parts of the country folks are going through the same dilemma, I've been looking for an aerator for a while, I've narrowed it down to the camon ,and Billy goat, I've had the camon on hire for a month and found pros and cons with it, but I've been told they'll be a few modifications to it, including the wheels, making them similar to the new version of the scarifier with narrower foot print to get closer to edges of lawns and narrow entrances , haven't been able to get a demo of the billy goat ,but I have used the older version plugger, which was very manoevarble and could turn while aerating, if anyone out there had used or have the billy goat perhaps they could give a little review of it cheers Graeme from G.J.M.Lawncare.
Yes I would also love to demo the Billy goat...but I'm hoping this one will be fine saving me thousands 😊

Do you ever use a swording machine. When you took the part off your new AL-KO 38 was that a swording attachment?

@@LHLgardenservices swording is more of a farming implement that they use to slice into the ground allowing air into the soil. Its justvthat the attachment you took off tge AL-KO looked like a mimi version of one. 👍
