Again great looking lawn. Thanks Lee.can’t wait for your next job.
Thank you ..follow up should be good 👍
I love watching and getting valuable tips. Thanks, lovely looking at the finish. 🌟🌟🌟
Thank you very much 😊😊
Thats my next big job for one of my customers,, about one and a half acres to do!! Think I might get soil tested, its really thick with moss, hardly a blade of grass to be found!
Watched a load of past vids on grass care on your channel. Thanks for all the great info mate, cheers!!!
Cheers ..Good luck with it 👍👍
Quite a lot of AMG in that lawn, I've had loads appear in my front lawn courtesy of the neighbours leaving their lawns to grow very long and go to seed.
Take the waste from that to your allotment Lee, will make good compost in no time.
🤩🤩👍
Hello, Lee
I'm loving your videos!!! You seem like a nice man! I live in Kansas, USA. I have a nice man who cuts my grass, and trims bushes. I don't have any big trees. I have fourteen new ones, the tallest maybe seventeen feet. Could you please come to the USA about once a week to help my lawn? You don't use chemicals, because I have two Boxer dogs, that's important!!! And I could listen to you all day!!! It is tornado time so if that bothers you I'll wait. Like usual you did a perfect job! GO LEE 🤗🍀🌿🌳🌲🍂
Awesome pal. Really like your vids your up their with the elite.
Very kind..thank you 🤩
Hi Lee, I have been following you on utube over the lockdown, I,ve got a farmhouse in the Dordogne (which I cant get down to) and have learnt so much from your film clips that will come in handy when I eventually get to France, even bought a Honda Hrs536 mulching mower that you use(what a brilliant idea)………… keep to your original format that you had in the earlier u-tube clips and don't be put off by "know it alls" by having to explain yourself on more recent clips, Nothing and nobody is perfect...….
Thanks buddy glad you enjoy the videos 🤩🤩👌
Another great, informative video Lee 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Cheers buddy 👍😁
Another good job done, Looks nice & tidy when finished
Cheers mate ..stay tuned for update 👍👍
Great vid looked great I would say it just puts a bit more stress on the engine and parts, but if not doing major lawn go for it and also if its wet
👍
Great video nice to see the end result, how about a weed and feed grass explaining about different weeds think it would be a great help for people love the channel
Thank you ..good shout 👍
I am just shocked what comes out, my lawn never ever done, a very small lawn but would love it to look better. Can't imagine £100 would get me one...
Lol
😄
Another top job mate .
Cheer pal 🤩👍
Mind blown again , I can’t believe that comes out !
😄yep..got to keep on top of those lawns ..👍
Good video as always, full of wise information and well narrated. Thank you, from Stoke -on-Trent.
Thank you very much 😊
@@LHLgardenservices I should be thanking you for doing what you do. I've taken a keen interest in your videos because they are crammed with good ideas and advice. You can't buy the kind of experience that you are teaching me with your videos. I'm a novice where gardening is concerned even though my job as a 12 year old was weeding, pruning, cutting lawns, and cutting hedges at my parents home some 47 years ago. I am now following your advice when doing anything in the garden, whether it's cutting lawns, using a half moon edger, or cutting hedges and using a mulching lawn mower to get rid of the waste. Thank you so much.
@@timothyarnold777 you mean ..thank you so mulch 🤣🤣
Hi Lee. I got hayter scarier. I normally
Mow first then scarify. I try your method next time. I always thought it was easier to gid rid of some grass first. It look fine what u was doing👍
Try both and then decide which way you prefer 👍as I said it ain't set in concrete what I do ..different situations require different methods 👍
Hi Lee, another great video, regarding the scarifier, what are the different attachments used for, there's the comb attachment and a blade/disc attachment?
I only use the scarifying blades...I think the discs are fof slicing the ground either for air or over seeding ....someone might add to this if I'm wrong 👌
Great video, always amazing how much comes out.... sounds like you have a sore throat? Hope you ok stay safe
😂😂😂😂....no...there were neighbours in the garden next door so I was talking a bit quieter ( my low deep husky voice 😂)
@@LHLgardenservices Owww! ahahahahah
Great video to watch late at night
Cheers pal much appreciated 🙂
Fancy taking on a volunteer one day Lee (ive got liability insurance I’m self employed) I’ve been gardening 15 years always up for learning from someone who’s done it longer... and I’m dying to have a go on yer wheel 😂
😂🤩🔘
Great job there, we'll get rain this weekend. Hope you didn't get blown about too much if you were working today, nightmare!
We had rain last night 👍...today was bloody windy 🌬🌬🌬🌪🌪
@@LHLgardenservices I know, the lawns where I were working were full of leaves 😲
@@bullseyeant yep..looked like autumn everywhere 🙈
Hi Lee, can i scarify my lawn now??
Looks good!
🤩🤩👍
I did some research about moss. I could be wrong. You can double-check the information. What I read is that moss indicates acidic soil and to make the soil more alkaline is to spread lime in the fall because of it being slow-release. After raising the pH fertilizing becomes more effective.
You are correct ...moss is acid loving 👍
Hi looking for abit of advice, when top dressing I see alot of people use sand and I've seen you use soil, is there a reason for this.?Also to get the stripes on the grass do you need to use a cylinder mower and if so what would you recommend?
What seeds and fertiliser do you use? Looking to scarify my lawn.
Showers? In East Anglia we were told we'll have thunder storms yesterday, sadly nothing! Nothing for the foreseeable time! How are we going to get through this?
Lawn looks good, looking forward to part 2!
We had heavy rain last night ☔☔🤩
looks good.
Follow up will be good ..cheers mate 👍
After your first pass do you blow / rake the moss or thatch before going over again with a diagonal. Or do you just go first pass, diagonal, diagonal again then blow / rake off? Thanks.
All depends how much is on the lawn 👍
Nice job
Cheers 🙏
So I have a question. How often do you scarify the lawn? Can you put lyme on the moss in the winter. My winter's very mild here. Aereating is different, this is for the soil?
Very tidy job Lee 👍 should have cut it first though 😀😀 only joking mate - great job
I gave it a COVID haircut 😂👍
I got the viking scarifer. Not got the power or blades like yours so needs a pre cut
Ahh fair enough buddy 👍
My lawn is so dry already having to water it and not even summer yet
Yes this lawn was starting to look a little weak...we need rain ☔
I'll tell you what I need, is a 600 or 800 rather than my hand held one. Difference is unbelievable.
😂💪💪💪👌
I have the br700 nice bit of kit, i also use the blower attachment on the kombi now (km131r motor) and its more compact as well as more powerful. I'm selling my hand held
@@TKG I have the BR700 Tooooooo 😂
What is scarifying?
It is like raking the turf, but with a machine.
The advantage is if you hand rake, the work gets hard on your hand, shoulders and back because you need to get down to the soil.
The machine can be set to only go 'so deep' and does an even job.
As been said below👍(like combing your hair😁)
Thanks for answering! I never heard that before! Thanks all!! ❤️❤️
