How much is a new garage lift??
That is why I started following you. I have 3 friends with disabilities, and 2 live far away from me. And as I have gotten older I find that need for a community that gets me more necessary.
That's my goal here; to build an awesome community of people that get me! Thanks for being a part if it!
100% Britt agree with you when it comes to finding friends that are in wheelchairs. It’s enriched my life so much in the last 2.5 years to where I’d never look back.
I encourage anyone with any kind o& disability to find peers that you can relate to, it makes life so much better.

First time you brought up Peeing Anywhere, it seemed a lil odd. But once you explained why and how, now it just makes perfect sense. It is NOT gross, it seems perfectly natural. And since so many places can't seem to get on board on making their bathrooms truly accessible, and more places now have put up signs saying "not a public bathroom", your method seems all the better. Your core strength seems to be getting stronger. And we think having more freedom is great!

We weren’t expecting a video so close to Christmas, so a Special Thank You! You’re still using a Rental SUV?? That sucks. I freak out every time I lose/misplace my iPhone - you are much calmer and trusting than me. Using a catheter isn’t fun, but not having to look for an accessible clean bathroom, makes things a lil better. Sort of. That’s a lot of pee. OMG - a broken lift - you are so calm. It is wonderful that you have great neighbours! And that Santa Hat looks great on you - I gotta go look for my “very appealing” Reindeer Antlers. Merry Christmas Brittney!
Yeah it's been an interesting few months with my lift breaking more than once and getting rear ended!
@@EmpoweredPara You look annoyed, yet you seem to take it in stride. I’m more of a “get pissed off and curse a lot, and maybe throw something”. I applaud your ability to handle situations better than me. You are emotionally strong. Are you going to have to look for a replacement lift?

We added a lil feature to access our gate from the outside. We hope that you can get your lift problem resolved so that it will work flawlessly for many years to come!!

Peeing in the car is the best, I'm sitting on a Roho cushion, toilet seats are hard. Run seat all the way back, tilt back a ways and the rest is easy peasy lemon squeezey.😂
Wow, I can't believe you're still driving the rental vehicle. I thought your van was only supposed to be in the shop after the accident for 30-some days. Hope you're enjoying that Terrain though... my Mom has one exactly the same and loves it. In regards to the porch lift, I have one of those at the front of my house too, that I brought over from my old house where I moved from, a couple months ago and it has had a few glitches as well. I have yet to try it out again since my Dad welded a new piece on the little ramp/gate mechanism. I also have a ramp too as this is the house I grew up in since I was 17. Anyways, I'm so glad you got to get out and have a great time with your "wheely peeps". I would love to find some local friends who have physical disabilities like I do, here in Northern Ontario.

I understand but a lot of homes with attached garage have no step to get in into the house. I just started watching your videos I didn't know you had kids.
Do they have that service where you can go online and order and they bring it out to your car? I love doing it with basic food, paper products cleaners etc but not so much with fruits, vegetables or meat.
We do yes, but you have to order a few days on advance which I didn't do lol
@@EmpoweredPara a few days? Here we can order and have it ready in a couple of hours. I love that service so much it really helps so I don’t always have to get the wheelchair out.

How come you didn't get into a condo that has no steps? My wife and I are not handicap but our condo I one level and no steps even from the garage going into the condo.

@@EmpoweredPara Haha exactly! I peed up against a truck a couple of days ago, while the driver was sitting eating a sanwhich. I also have a spot at my work behidn the fence! It´s way easier!
