If you’re familiar with any of these words then I’m guessing you’ve taken your fair share of antibiotics.
I’ve certainly taken my share. Actually, more than my share.
After I became paralyzed at the age of 13 I started a cycle of chronic antibiotic use that I thought would never end. Like clockwork I would get a urinary tract infection (UTI), take antibiotics for 7 days, be symptom free for 7 days, and then get another UTI. Round and round, over and over.
As a teenager I was unaware of the dangers of antibiotic resistance and the damage that chronic antibiotic use was doing to my body. All I knew was that UTIs were awful and I wanted relief. And I had no idea how to get it without drugs.
I let my doctors convince me that urinary tract infections go hand in hand with intermitten catheterization and that I would always require antibiotics for treatment.
Fast forward about 10 years, after the birth of my second child, and I had had enough. I was sick of constantly taking urine samples to the lab every few weeks, sick of waiting on my doctor for the results, and just plain sick of suffering from UTI’s.
I decided to take matters into my own hands and figure out how to free myself from dependence on antibiotics.
Watch to find out the 5 steps I took to cure my recurrent UTI's!

I have watch dozens of documentaries about how to help myself. Antibiotics are not working any more. I had 6 recurrences in 2 years. At age 70, I do not enjoy visiting over and over the Urgent Care facility. I am lucky to have the time to do my own research. Your documentary is the best I have found. Thank you for sharing your own experience. It is greatly appreciate it. Of course, I am subscribing and liking. God bless you!!!

    Awesome video!!👊😎
I am a C 5/6 quadriplegic with a 25 year history of chronic UTIs. About a year and a half ago the antibiotics just stopped working. The infectious disease team at my hospital was brought in to follow my case. The first thing they did was explain to me that either I would start fighting off infections naturally or eventually the drug resistant bugs would kill me. I had a similar experience to what you described when you said you had to change your diet completely. I just decided that nutrition was the final frontier and really my last hope for beating the UTIs naturally. I eat pasture raised organic eggs every morning for breakfast with Ezekiel sprouted grain bread and an avocado. To strengthen my gut I drink grass fed organic kefir in the morning and at bedtime. I also eat brined sauerkraut several times a day because it is extremely good for the gut. I eat huge salads multiple times a week that are made out of organic greens and other healthy ingredients. I have tried to cut out refined sugars and most carbohydrates. The change in my diet has made me feel worlds better and I just can’t see myself ever going back.
I also wanted to share one thing that my pharmacist told me about. There is a supplement called NAC that has really helped me. The d-mannose was causing too much gastric distress on my sensitive G.I. tract. However, NAC is something I could tolerate. NAC has anti-mucous properties. Bacteria often take refuge in something called a biofilm. Essentially it is just mucus that adheres to the bladder walls. This is where the bacteria like to hide out and avoid getting flushed away or affected by medication. NAC is really good at breaking up the bio films so they get flushed out. I think keeping those biofilms flushed out has eliminated a place for the bacteria to hide. Whenever my symptoms start to appear I go to 1200 mg a day. For maintenance I mostly do 600 mg a day. The brand I use is “nature’s plus“ and I prefer the caplets over the capsules. However, the caplets are hard to find. BTW, NAC also has a lot of other health benefits.

    • @reenakumar3987

      @kckaz2006 2 місяці тому +1

There’s a lot of confusing information out there, so personal testimonies are pretty good. I was curious if NAC was bothering your gut at all? The inside of our gut has a protective layer of biofilm made of good bacteria. I have reports that NAC can break down that biofilm as well and cause Gastro problems.

Somewhere in these UTI videos, I read one comment about "toilet paper". She said she changed her toilet paper, and the UTI went away. Well, this is my 2nd day of implementing her strategy - (one I never would have thought of) - and, guess what? She was right!!!! Of course, this is AFTER d-mannose, water, reducing caffeine to 1-2 cups per day (with food)....etc. And it has helped!!! After comparing the 2 toilet papers, one was scratchier; thanks to this person for the comment!!! Allergy? Bacteria on toilet paper??? Who knows???

After having chronic UTI's for years, I started using a cranberry supplement, once to twice a day, with probiotics, and if I even feel a twinge of a UTI coming on...I take oregano oil, 60 percent carvacol, and it knocks it right out!! Prior to this, the doctors just gave me anti-biotics, for weeks at a time, and I got sepsis, twice, and nearly died! I knew if I didn't change something, it was going to kill me! I also have changed my diet considerably, lots more veggies, and fruit, NAC supplement, and I drink alot of lemon water!! It is important to cut out as much sugar, as you possibly can, out of your diet! It does make a significant difference! (By the way, Oregano oil is a Natural antibiotic, so you have to be very, very careful when using it. Short durations, of a week or two.) Dr, Eric Berg is where I found the recommendation!

I have been paralised for 23 years now. T11/12. I was 47 years old, and 70 now.
I broke my back in a remote area in the bush ( I was building a lodge in Zimbabwe).
I had 18 hours to think about my future before an ambulance (a pick up with a canopy and two benches inside)
During those 18 hours, I made a decision that I was not going to be a liability to anyone. I was divorced with two daughters living in the UK.
In short, I live on my own, travel, and still have a great life.
Urinary infectios - plenty, until 4 years ago in Thailand, when I discovered by accident that chillies (raw or in powdered form), cured my infection.
At that time I also discovered that I had become resistant to anti- biotics.
I now have coffee every morning with a few shakes of chilli powder in it, and have been UTI free ever since.
    Keep up your great work.
(I still cannot understand why so many people in life choose to be miserable in life - disabled or not)

I feel like sharing something which is funny to me (although completely irrelevant, please don‘t mind me). Here it is :
having be pretty, it‘s rather a shock that I am losing very visible teeth…but , the other day, I read Jesus saying (in another context, for sure) „it will be better for you to enter the Kingdom of God without eye or hand - than being thrown into hell with eyes and hands“ - so, I discard painful sensations about being toothless and concentrate on what is important (and to me, what is important as you may guess, is to do what I can do about all the other things He says).
I pray God to bless you always on your path, girl, and I send you my warmest and sincerest admiration.

i have been having re-occurring UTI`s for about a year. Twice I got antibiotics and now I feel it starting again. I`m sensitive enough that I can tell just by a slight sensitivity creeping up toward my kidneys but no pain. I can take a teaspoon of oregano and wait until it`s soggy enough to swallow and that makes it go away, but,I guess I`ll have to take it a little more often and see if I can kick it out.

Hi, I just wanted to say thank you for sharing! I have been suffering from UTI’s for more than 10 years and was on antibiotics. Well the antibiotics I was taking has since stopped working. I also developed diarrhea from too much antibiotic use which now sucks! Sorry, I know a bit TMI lol 😂 It’s just one thing after another for me, I hate it!!!! I’ve heard of garlic being a natural antibiotic as well. I’m gonna try this. I also take D Mannose but not regularly. I’ve only been taking it after intercourse. Thank you once again for all of your help! Oh yeah, I’ve also been eating tons of Kim chee in hopes to help out my gut. I heard fermented foods are good for healing the gut. Gonna up my intake on water as well and work on changing my diet. Thanks again!!!!❤
P.S. I thought that I might add that I don’t have any spinal cord injury or anything but as a child I did have what is called a ureter reflux (where your urine goes back up into your kidneys? Or so I was told) and ended up having surgery to fix that. Now that I’m older I’m learning that UTI’s is a common side effect of that surgery. 😭😫 it sucks!!!

I've found METHANAMINE helpful. You can get it OTC, but your doctor can PRESCRIBE it in a higher dose, which your insurance may pay for. I say this first, because some readers don't read long posts. There are millions of people (mostly women) SUFFERING from UTI's. This interferes with a normal life, causing anxiety and depression, often interfering with relationships .I KNOW because I've been there for years. They are also la leading cause of DEATH in elderly folks. Doctors are either 1)ignorant, 2) Negligent, or 3) Uncaring. Some are helpful, but we have to be responsible and accountable for ourselves and BE OUR OWN DOCTORS. Listen to this woman--NEVER GIVE UP and HAVE FAITH YOU WILL DEFEAT THIS MONSTER. Keep looking and SHARE what you're learned. GOD BLESS ALL.

@aishwaryareddy5805 honestly I just Chop up fresh garlic as finely as I can and swallow a tea or table spoon amount with something to drink. Fresh garlic is the most potent. But don't buy garlic from China because they grow theirs in sewage water and soak it in bleach so it's value is low or infective. California grows good garlic. You can ake a tea or tablespoon as often as you would take antibiotic pills. Or as much as you feel until the uti is gone. Avoid unnatural sugars if severe enough and also drink crambery with water to help prevent bacteria from sticking to your blatter wall and spreading.

    • @sarahbrown6637
      @sarahbrown6637 7 місяців тому +2

@gurjitkaur3306 how much fresh garlic to take depends on how severe the uti is. I would finely Chop up a tea or table spoon amount 2-3 times a day - for 1 - 3 days. Sometimes 1 day is enough but I had one recently that spread to my bladder and kidneys. So I took garlic for a week. Also drank cranberry juice with water and made oregano tea. And avoided unnatural sugar.
You can also use garlic and cranberry as a preventative like once or twice a week or if you feel something coming on take right away. Don't buy garlic from China. It's grown using sewage water and bleached.

With a bad UTI I will take 3 cloves (or 2 larger ones) every 3 hours. If it's a normal UTI then 3 cloves three times per day. After a UTI I'll take 3 cloves twice a day for a few days and then taper off to one cloves every morning for months after while the bladder heals. Here is a link to a bladder care guide:

@kiarayvette972 I take the garlic 3X per day for 7 days just like a course of antibiotics. I've never had any problems taking loads of garlic other than digestive issues but garlic can lower your blood pressure so you might want to start with a lower amount if garlic since I'm sure your husband already has very low blood pressure. If the garlic is too intimidating two really effective natural antibiotics are uva ursi and goldenseal. You can buy them at a health food store or online. You can also buy natural antibiotics and other bladder herbs in mixtures. A few products I use are:

It's not something you do everyday, as then your body gets used to it, and then it won't work. I use it when I feel a UTI coming on, or if I feel there is something off with my body, or if I am exhausted, to prevent a UTI.

Usually within a day or two. Sometimes it doesn't work though, if the infection is bad.
