Thanks for the info ! ❤
I have high blood pressure and my A1C is in diabetic stage and I am obese. My creatinine level is hi 0.6. My Doctor told me to continue to eat health to lose weigh to reduce the risk of kidney disease.
5 weeks ago I stopped eating meat. I might eat fish here and there but not so much. I’ve just stopped eating salty foods and sweets. I hope this helps my creatinine lower and traumatically reduce the risk of kidney disease in the name of Jesus. I have to do better with my health. I want to live a long time to enjoy life with my children ❤.

This is my second video in a row I am watching of you both, and it is so reassuring! I was diagnosed with CKD5 and have changed over to a Plant Based Diet, dropped coffee, alcohol, etc. I am steadily losing weight; almost 25Lbs. The way you talk about creatinine, and magnesium. Your whole whole manner of discussing these things just makes so much sense to me. Truly thank you for what you are doing and the knowledge that you are sharing. there is a whole lot of misinformation out there. When I listen to you I feel safe and I feel that I am truly learning something without all the fluff.

If the person is not overweight, in fact underweight (104 lbs, 5 feet 3 inches), and already plant-based (low fat, low salt, no added sugar, does not eat vegan cheese or vegan processed foods), eat a high-fiber diet, and the creatine is high, what can the person do? What's causing the creatinine to be high. Does walking 1.2 miles under hot morning sun (about 75 degrees F) before the blood test, cause the test results to show high creatinine.

There are definitely still things you can do! We would highly recommend working 1:1 with a renal dietitian because there is ALOT that can be done with diet to slow progression of CKD and improve outcomes. It is highly individualized though. Reducing meat is great. But it depends on what you ate in place of that. How much total protein, fiber, vegetables, sodium, etc. You can search for renal dietitians at this website: sites.google.com/view/ckdrd/home

I owe much of my diet to these two wonderful people. Be sure your kidneys aren't creating small undetectable stones as these can cause kidneys to leak protein. Add lemon juice to your drinks and avoid spinach and anything else that contains high oxalates. Maintain normal blood pressure as best you can. Avoid anything that will spike glucose or fructose. Limit meat and protein overall and saturated fat. I learned it from these guys. There are new drugs which can also help.

The only way to reduce creatinine is by repairing the glomeruli in the kidney. Diet does not repair the glomeruli but it only helps reduce protein. Of course, if we drink only water then there will be zero creatinine level and this never means our kidneys have recovered.

Stem cells might renew the tissue but once it's damage it turns to scar tissue and that is even harder to heal more research should be done to heal nephrons but diet must strictly change stop what causes damage to begin with and possibly over time it could heal

Simplest way to good health is to eat meat, fruits and vegetables and exercise. If anyone tells you to not eat meat then go in the other direction fast.
