Thank you for taking one for the team!!! This would be a big NO! When one buys Dior - one expects luxury. This doesn’t sound like an indulgent experience. Maybe they’ll get it right with their NEXT reformulation 😂
Hi Lexi, thank you for this review. When one out of three is okay to good that's not a good ratio/sign. It sounds like people can keep happily using their old formula and save their money.. Your factual opinion is always on point and without drama which speaks to your integrity and quality of your content and channel. 💖✨️💕
Excellent advice Lexi! There are so many options out there, there’s no reason not to choose ones that perform better. As always, I appreciate your honest feedback on these.
I'm so tired or Dior reformulating products that are great to begin with! They also reformulated the Rosy Glow blushes and I'm nervous that one of my all time favorites is now ruined. I'll try one of the new shades when they launch but judging by the results of everything else they've reformulated recently, I don't have high hopes.
@@LexiJong I didn't realize they were reformulated either until yesterday when I was looking at the new shades on Dior's site and saw the first line of the description that said the Rosy Glow line has been "reinvented in a new formula". All I want to do is yell at Dior to stop with the clean/all natural nonsense because if the pseudoscience and fear mongering marketing tactics don't drive customers away, the loss of favorite products due to constant clean reformulating certainly will.
I just bought myself one of the old /original formula Dior blushes and got it today!!! 🤣😜🙌🌟Amazing formula, so silky and truly blends seamlessly on the skin. Very happy with its pigmentation and performance.
The new blushes look beautiful on you. I have an earlier incarnation of Rose Caprice and it's not as pink and pigmented as yours. Agree about latest Chanel blushes. They also aren't very pigmented. Excellent video, as always - informed, organized, efficient. Thank you very much, Lexi.
Thanks so much for sharing your research and thoughts. Inconsistency in quality should never vary by color. This reminds me of the Lisa Eldridge cream blushes - some colors were problematic. I do like Dior packaging.
These haven’t launched in the UK yet, in fact I didn’t even know Dior were relaunching their blushes! They have already launched the reformulated eyeshadows, mascara and eyeliners here though (I bought the Amber Pearl palette and I'm really pleased with it). I’ve been to the US Dior website to look at the new blushes and there are a few colours I really like the look of so I will buy one of them to try. Hard-pan is a pain, but not a deal breaker if I love the colour of a product - I experience it with some of my Sisley powder eyeshadows, but I love the colours so just remove any hard-pan by scraping it off with sterlised tweezers.
You´re so right Lexi, sometimes we fall in love with product that later on don´t perform, and of course thatś money wasted. People like you help us navigate the world of makeup, and for that I thank you. Itś my opinion that by now you should have one million subscribers. I think between the new Quinta and the new blushes, my love affair with Dior is almost at an end. For the price, quality should be maintained for quite awhile. I’ll stick with their lipsticks until they reformulated that great product too.
Me too. I used to skip Dior releases before the previous formula and it looks like that may be where I'm heading. I did buy the purple Dior quint so we'll see if that one is any better.
Hi I got the nude 100 and love it. It is a peachier Matte which I normally don’t go for but it is so pretty. I agree that this new formula based on shade vary in performance. I agree people should wait as this is a $45 blush so no need to rush. I also think a nice alternative is the Dior Rosy Glow formula which are $40 and come in beautiful new shades with the same consistent beautiful formula of the original. Though the new Rosy Glow shades do vary in pigmentation and finish so it will be key for people to watch video swatches or go in store where available before purchasing. Thank you as always for your evenhanded through reviews.❤
I was so tempted to get that one! I'm glad 100 is one of the good ones. I wish they were more consistent in this new formula. I just ordered the new Rosy Glow blushes too. I can't wait to try them. Thanks so much Bonnie!
Right?!? They also just reformulated the Rosy Glow blushes and I'm so glad I have 2 backups of Pink because none of their recent reformulations have worked. I'm still bitter about the Forever concealer, which was my holy grail, because the new version isn't as hydrating or seamless on the skin as the original.
@@Cara-39thanks for the feedback on the concealer. I was thinking of it but have many many wrinkles under the eyes. You saved me money!! Have a good weekend.
@@screaming60s5 You're welcome! The original formula was my top recommendation for under eyes like mine that are dry and textured or mature but not anymore. I haven't found a replacement I like just as much but if you're looking for a natural finish and full coverage, KVD Good Apple and Pat McGrath Sublime are good options, as is Milk Future Fluid if you want medium buildable coverage. I wanted to love the Dior Backstage, Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin and Givenchy Prisme Libre concealers but all 3 contain glitter and the last thing I need is sparkly dark circles or breakouts
Thank you for doing an early (but not first) impression review of Dior’s reformulated blushes. Again, your arm and cheek swatches were great and also quite revealing. I look forward to your next assessment - if/when these do actually become hard-pan.
At such a high price point, every blush colour should be equal in quality. It's such a shame as they appear to have great shades. I'll be skipping these.
I think your makeup look is one of my favorites today. The Mitzah looks so glows and natural. I hope it doesn’t hard pan. I bought Osee and Dansante so I hope they end up being good. Great video as always ❤
I would love to know your thoughts on Osee when it arrives! It's on my wishlist but the reviews so far have been like Lexi's, very hit and miss. If possible, would you please come back and here and let me know how it performs? I'm sure others would like to know as well
I finally received my order. The Osee is not showing up on my medium tone skin and has no shimmer or shine. The Dansante doesn’t show up but it has a faint glow to it. I think I ordered the wrong shades but I’m not going to order more. I’m going to see if I can give these to my daughter or friend with lighter skin.
Thank you Lexi!! Really appreciate your thoughts and suggestions!! You look absolutely gorgeous.. I don’t have any Dior blushes except for the Mitza palette & the little backstage… can’t wait to hear your thoughts with those too. Love&light from California ❤❤
Luckily there are so many great blush options out there, this one doesn’t hurt as much for me. Maybe it’s because I wasn’t in love with the old formula before like I was with the quints. I sure wish they’d kept the push lever on the quint packaging. (But I guess in a way it’s good they didn’t because it’s was easy to identify which is the old formula when I was panic buying the two color stories I wanted before they were gone forever. On a separate note, your eye look is beautiful! When I looked to see what you were wearing I was excited because I have Imperial Moon, but I only seen get a much cooler toned look out if it. I’m going to try to get something more like what you have on today! I love it! (Maybe it’s the liner, too!)
I agree with you, Lexi, Dior did a lot of things wrong and they just lost their loyal client. I have been using only Dior for over 10 years, but this year when they reformulated their Forever Matte and Glow foundations, they are looking so cakey on my skin that I had to say goodbye to their brand. I am so happy I did because I then found you and discovered a whole new world of beautiful makeup and quality, like the Suqqu, the Sisley, the Hermes, the Valentino, and the beautiful Cle de Peau!
Welp, I was seriously considering grabbing one shade, but with even the nicer shades not being all that great, it seems like an easy pass; I have plenty of blush that blends easily regardless of which brush/technique I use. Thanks for taking one for the team!
Thank you for the review Lexi! It’s unfortunate that decently + or - performing products from big brands seem to reformulate without the need to do so. It seems like a way for brands to make more money when they do this. 🤷🏻♀️

I just picked up three of them, but I don’t think they were the three you picked up. All in all, I’m not into these reformulations by any of the brands. There is no regulation on what constitutes “clean” beauty and most of the reformulations are inferior to the original products. So we shall see, but, like you, I’m sticking with the brands that do these products well, are comparable in price, and don’t get hard pan. Very disappointing. But on the upside, you do look beautiful in pink!!!
This is a hard swerve for me. I am going to wait for Gucci true pink. I just got Dior Rosewood today and Estee Lauder Pure Colour Envy blush in 220 Pink kiss. Both lovely
Does Rosewood have any noticeable glitter, shimmer or sparkle? If you own the Pink or Coral shade from before the new ones were added, how does Rosewood compare? Dior reformulated these blushes as well and the original Pink is one of my all time favorites so I'm worried they're not as good now.
@@Cara-39 Rosewood has zero glitter or sparkle of any kind. I have the original pink, the rosewood doesn't seem inferior to the previous formula in any way
