Hi Jennifer! Thank you for featuring these new blush formulas. The new backstage blushes are too patchy. The satin blushes are both nice. (BTW, Sillage is indeed pronounced as you did throughout and it means “fragrance trail.” The blush shade you got is probably Sillage as opposed to Greige, which would be very cool.) PS: I love the Oasis highlighter on your eyes - gorgeous.
I hope you had a wonderful Birthday Jen, very best Birthday wishes to you and lots of love 💗❤️💗 Because I really don't need any more blushers, I passed on these and I'm not tempted to pick one up. That said, I did pick up a couple of the MBM blushers and I really like them 😊 I appreciate this vid so much, thank you. 💕✨️💕✨️💕✨️💕
Glad to see a positive review on some of the Dior blushes. I love the look of Mahogany & would be interested to see how it applies with different brushes. Sofia Sees Beauty recommended using a dense brush & buffing it in. I'm tempted by the colour but concerned about the patchiness, especially me being fair. On a side note, I think it's high time your husband made a guest appearance!
The lighter blush looks beautiful. I recently picked up a PML blush that was 50% off (fleurtatious) which is in the same category to me, so it's a pass for me, but it really looks beautiful. I am glad they didn't copletely ruin those. Let us know if they easily hard pan on you. The backstage ones are not acceptable in my opinion. A luxury blush cannot be that patchy.
Hope you get some Dior blushes…. ❤😊🎉Like the holographic &shimmer version(Lady Dior 792, 720 Icon, 601 Holgram) I have very dry cheeks so I don’t like any mat blush .Glad you like the new version - there a mixed reviews……Thank you for your opion.
Happy birthday Jennifer 🎉Have a wonderful day! I know what you mean about the free birthday gift. Who doesn’t get excited about a free gift from Dior? I know I do. These Dior blushes are a pass for me. I have so many mat, demi-mat and satin blushes so I would only be interested in watching your review on the holographic blushes. Many hugs
those new backstage blushes are rough! i understand it’s dior’s cheaper product line, but that patchiness just isn’t acceptable for a luxury brand (and isn’t backstage supposed to be for pro MUAs? how they will deal with that patchiness is beyond me). i’m glad dior extended the shade range, but what good is an expanded shade range if they don’t perform well? there are other brands that have many shades AND perform perfectly so there’s no excuse. at least the non-backstage dior blushes are good. but unfortunately these reformulations especially the quints are a deal-breaker for me. will still love my old quints, but so disappointed in the brand.
🎉 happy birthday 🎂🎉🎊! Many blessings Jenn About the blushes...I am disappointed that they are so much work. Dior is losing what had gained the last couple of years 😢
For the price, you shouldn’t have to work ( out of the ordinary placement) to use these new backstage blushes. I’m going to save my money. My love affair with Dior is coming to an end. Hopefully they don’t decide to reformulated the lippies.
Jen, have the prices gone up much on these reformulations? Especially, now that they've added a mirror to the Backstage Blushes. I saw another do a review of that deeper shade of blush and it was patchy on her too. Dior has only ever had those two lighter shades and probably assumed that the same formula would work for all shades? I think they need to go back to the drawing board with these. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that they don't fool around with the Backstage Eye Palettes that I collect!🇦🇺💖🕊
Oh no Grege is peachy colored 😢I was really hoping it was pink beige like the website says it is. That is one that I really wanted but I have like 100 peach blushes darn! 😅 I wonder if the wrong sticker was place on it 🙏🏼 lol
I’ve watched/read several reviews now and patchiness seems to be a common complaint. Beautiful colors, but dry and patchy. So, for me, these are a miss. There are gorgeous colors galore out there offered by a number of different brands. I shouldn’t have to go to extra effort to get a smooth, even, beautifully diffused application.
It’s funny you say. I actually have all kinds and ready ? The new essence blushes are so amazing and pretty. They don’t show texture. Etc. What you would expect from Lux. I’m 62. In love ! Ha
@@louisesharpy Isn’t it interesting that a drugstore brand (Essence) can outperform a luxury brand (Dior)? I think Dior should have spent a bit more time working on formulation.
I'll be frank when it comes to these luxury brands. I'm willing to pay a premium for such brands for that luxury experience. But part of that experience includes not having to put in extra effort to make the product work. Minimal blending should be enough to make a Dior blush look great on my skin. Dior needs to work on their consistency with these new clean reformulations and until it does, I'm going to stick to other brands who can give me a better makeup experience, at possibly a lower price too.
Happy Birthday. Thank you for reviewing the blushes.
Morgan Turner had the same issue with Mahogany. It was really patchy on her too. Didn't know clean meant dry.
Agreeed! 😂
Hi please come back and review more on the dolce powder. I'm intrigued. Thank you always love to see your reviews
I will! I’ll have an update with more details 😊
The Dolce powder looked lovely on you. Have a Happy birthday 💖

Beautiful... Have a great weekend 😊

Darnit! That D & G powder is fone. I would have loved that. Thanks for the reviews!💚

As soon as lady Dior is in stock I’ll get it. I have hologram and don’t love it but maybe the new formula is better
Happy birthday Jennifer 🎉Have a wonderful day!

Happy Birthday! I hope it was amazing. 🎉
Brought the nude color in the new blushers it’s very nice blended fine

I couldn’t agree more!
Thanks! 💜💜💖
Happy birthday. Lovely colors. Grege looks gorgeous on you. What shade would be closer to Rose Dentelle? I was not able to find that one.
Hope you had a Happy Birthday!
Happy birthday! Great reviews and very helpful in deciding what to pick up.
Do you have a preference between the satin Dior or the Hermes blushes?

Last year I didn’t get my platinum rewards or birthday gift from Dior 😢
Yes same. Contact customer service!! I had to regularly sent them emails starting January and finally received them now in May
Their pretty on you. I certainly can tell the new formula is patchy. I'll pass on their new formulas. Thank you for demonstrating Dior for us.
Great video always a like 👍👍 I wouldn't be happy with the patchy-ness but I agree to shades are pretty I'm sending out love to everyone 💙💛❤💚💜
I agree patchy …
I love the mahogany shade but it's going to be a pass as too much hard work blending for me 🤔
Oh no Grege is peachy colored 😢I was really hoping it was pink beige like the website says it is. That is one that I really wanted but I have like 100 peach blushes darn! 😅 I wonder if the wrong sticker was place on it 🙏🏼 lol
Is the fragrance as strong in the “new” reformulation as in the “old?”
It doesn't seem like it to me but let me re-check!

Totally understand that and I agree.
