xatu is also one of my favorite pokemon. honestly a ton of gen 2 pokemon are some of my favs, and i love to see them getting representation thru fnf

The fact that completely unique lyrics for this song is absolutely astonishing, the voiceacting is absolutely perfect for Xatu

Underrated and a masterpiece
Xatu's lyrics is a bop with the background music. I wonder if you can put Yellow from Pokemon Adventures manga into this mod because she's my fav and underrated.

My idea was Hatterene since it hates heavy emotions,it wouldn't be hypnosis,she would just try to make excuses to murk people alone in the woods of galar and will do anything to make a human feel any heavy emotion
I feel like Xatu is more unique choice honestly.
One of the possible pokemon that could be used for this is pretty much everyone in the gengar line.
Ghastly - Cloaks people with its gassees and puts them to sleep, said to lurk in decrepit deserted buildings. GF enters an abandoned cabin, looking for BF. Where she finds a lone Gastly lurking.
Haunter - Literally stalks people. I imagine its stalking GF in a gloomy forest--who's looking for BF--Lurking in the shadows, trying to beckon her to come over so it can steal her life force
Gengar - Mimics peoples shadows and lays curses on people. I imagine GF is looking for BF on a mountain, and a Gengar appears from her shadow, ready to pull a bit of tomfoolery.

My choice would be Musharna, since they’re both based on the same creature. It could also replace the pendulum with dark mist notes (from a Gen 8 dex entry where it’s stated Musharna can emit a dark mist that brings people’s nightmares to life), which when hit cause visual distractions with characters and items that Girlfriend has been shown scared of throughout FNF mods and, once enough are hit, start to bring in some mechanics from said characters too (like MX’s Pow Block or Tabi’s Health Drain). Psyshock could also be replaced by lightning temporarily blocking the screen and generating more of the dark mist notes, given how that’s the only thing GF seems canonically scared of
