It's been five years... this song has not even begun to get old. My hairs still stand on end when the guitar and vocals come in. This song is truly beautiful.
This song still reminds me of my Newfie uncle who went missing at sea....so long ago. His sister, aka, my mom, shed tears when she heard this after I sent it to her with the lyrics. It inspired her to realize a different memory of what transpired. Truly timeless composition and nostalgic visuals. .
In my opinion, every Vocalist, Musician or whatever that was with or is still with NIGHTWISH has contributed and is still contributing to this BAND!!!!!
I love the idea of them sitting inside the camp fire instead of around it. Very creative. Magical music, heartfelt lyrics and beautiful video. Perfect.

The performance portion of this video reminds me very much of a my second marriage ceremony. A beach on the coast of Oregon with a beautiful woman and a priestess. In the end it didn't work out but it's still a wonderful memory. This song evokes that and makes me smile.
I think it is ridiculous that everyone argues about who is a better singer. Did you people not read the open letter to Tarja at all? Nightwish is not about a singer. Nightwish is about a dream and the music. Is it so hard to accept that the band wants that dream to flourish whether it's Floor, Tarja, or Anette? Yes Tarja was great so was Anette, but the band is not Tarja or Anette or Floor it is all of them. They are all part of the dream that is and was Nightwish.

He wrote music for 3 different woman, all with different vocal capacities and made them all sound beautiful and amazing. It's dangerous for a pregnant lady to fly on a plane and perform almost every night, she was going to leave after the Imaginarium tour anyway. If they were that horrid then Johan, Anette's husband (I think) and the father of her child, wouldn't have joined PAIN in supporting them. Also Anette said she doesn't hold a grudge against them.
Why is everyone complaining about the singers? If the music sounds good then it sounds good it shouldn't matter who's behind the voice. This is beautiful and that's all that should matter not the face that the voice belongs to.

check out Tarot, his band since the 80s with his brother. I will tell you it sounds nothing like this tho. Very... early 80s metal. Also a really good sounding band that the vocalist sounds like him is (Finnish) Landing Heroes.

Agreed, I always loved listening to the songs Marco sang the most. I had no problem with any of the ladies, though. It was hard to adjust to Anette's range and style after Tarja left, but in my humble opinion Anette was also quite decent.
People like to live in the past and can't adjust to change... Some people that is.. Vocal minority. Look at the number of views for this song. I, personally, love Anette, I don't have much in voice department and her singing is so much easier for me to follow than Tarja's (duh), and that is what matters.. I want to hear the song, but I want to be able to sing them too, that's how singing developed historically, damn it. :)))

Aw, look at Tuomas pretending he can sing. Listen to their very first album; he was absolutely GODAWFUL. However, he makes up for it hundredfold by being a genius songwriter who can play to any singer's strengths and make them sound fantastic, and he has been the brick and mortar of this band from the beginning. Change up the singers all you want, but once he's gone, Nightwish officially dies.

Dark Passion Play is and always will be, my favourite Nightwish album, followed closely by Imaginaerum (i think that's how it's spelled)
