I followed the instructions on installing the a6000 kit and the 16-50 ml zoom ring and inserted the camera in the off position and on the housing and it keeps turning on the camera. All the buttons work on the housing but I can’t switch the camera off while it’s in the housing. Is this common with a6000?
Salted Line yes I’ve tried to insert it with the switch and camera to the ON position but when i try to switch it off in the housing it won’t turn my camera switch all the way to the off position
Salted Line unfortunately no. It doesn’t seem to make contact with camera switch correctly so the camera will stay stuck in ON position until I’m able to get out of the water and take the camera out. Is it possible to send your support group a video of what happens via email?

Have you tried to insert the camera while it is on and align the ON/OFF switch so that the little gap on that switch perfectly fits the camera one?

Does the housing fit the camera perfectly? I have an a6300. I heard there were issues with the fit in the Ikelite housing
