CFL bulbs work very well, I changed the lamps because the LED lamp was an anniversary gift. But the bulbs work, you just need the right bulb for your application. You have to look up how many lumens you need and make sure that they are true "Daylight" bulbs, you need the full spectrum of light. I generally don't give brand names...because I don't use brand names, the bulbs were bought at a local, small lighting and fixture store and the new LED lamp is a generic Chinese lamp that was bought through a few contacts (a friend of a friend of a friend sells them), the box didn't have a brand name. I try to keep it cheap, but it works. I would like to see how the tank turns up. send me a video reply. Hope this helps.
beautiful tank bro. I subbed can't wait to see more..
Thanks!
I can see you gave up on the CFL? Could you please share your thoughts on CFL? I am planning a DIY for one of my aquariums
