Good suggestion. Now if there was some way to store a hex key wrench on the chassis so that it was handy to loosen those chassis set screws when you needed to pull the cheek rest off.
Having purchased a matrix pro, I’m disappointed in this solution. This means in order to clean the rifle I have to loose the quick tool-less adjustment and have to pay for additional components to do this

I just use your magnetic cheek riser piece.

Too complicated. I use hard plastic tubing cut to custom height. Rubber tubing will work the same. Either will cost you practically nothing.
