I've always a lot of questions. Is there some rule about what color Volvo marine engines are? Some are white, some are green... Not a fan of the Stainless Steel all over, or of the very white gel coat. How much customization is there for this boat? The stainless will get very hot. Like the design language. Can you add a stabilizer? I like the vibe this boat gives off.
cockpit setee TOTALLY cuts off access to the galley access. not a good design. not a fan of having sun beds in front of the upper helm. the interior design and appointments are quite nice - particularly the flooring. the engine space is quite generous.
Alex, you akways save the master for last. You show the VI0, the twinns, then the master. Then come out and show the bow, then flybridge, garage, crew cabin, engine and its a wrap
Do I? I had no idea! For the most part, what we try to do is either show the really key elements of the boat first or simply take a walk around in whatever order feels most natural. At boat shows, I'm afraid that is often impossible though, as we often find ourselves chased around by punters and PR people. In an ideal world, what kind of order would you favour for a tour of a flybridge cruiser?
Not as flashy as a Sunseeker, and not as clever as a Galeon, so I guess it will find a niche. Sadly, no innovation at all in the engine room... just slap in the two filthy diesels and close the hatch :-(
Great boat and a really enjoyable tour, thanks Alex.
“Sociable shower” - can’t imagine Hugo saying that! 😂
The flydeck helm is cool. I like the ability to stow the screens, and good to finally see a car-like wheel with push button controls.
Really nice, well considered and lots of space for a 55ft! Great tour thanks!
Beautiful design, clean and minimalist, yet modern and sophisticated.
Haven't heard of this make before but from that viewing I was quite impressed with this one, thanks for the vid.
A great video - I must admit although not normally a fan of Astondoa boats this one looks very nice!
I agree! Nice!
Impressive boat

AS5? They think that effectively spells A S S?

AS5 looks a bit rude
