Nice course! I have the exact same truck! Super cool rig but not a great performer to crawl with out of the box. I’ve modded mine already with a HW fusion 2300 kv system…some brass front and rear ….different aluminum wheels and a bit smaller tire than stock. Was much better but would still body roll quite a bit……I put an element rear sway bar on my scx10.3 and it helped a ton….so I got another rear sway bar and adapted in to the F150 ….HUGE different in performance while crawling steep angles…very happy with it now! One of my top performing full bodied rigs I have (out of about 30 rigs 😅)
Cool video. Which battery are you running in it (2S or 3S)? Do you use the remote differential option at all, or do you keep it set at closed!?! Install a Light Kit yet? Thanks again for the video, your time, and your reply. 😎👍🏼
From what I can tell, most of the issues on this video are the lines taken and speed going downhill is too fast and made it roll. It is top heavy obviously but all of the high trails are the same. Also if you lift the bronco or defender with the same tires I bet it runs similar to this one.
I'm sure you have by now, but you can put the grey foam that comes in all traxxas stuff between the body and clip less body mounts and no more noise (rattle).
I think I like the Ranger more than the K10 (don't tell Wyatt) but it's kinda unfair the Ranger comes with the light bar and the K10 doesn't. I think there are some Ford fanboys over at Traxxas playing favorites! 😅
