Being hard on yourself, the tailgate came out GREAT!! Enjoyed this episode as I do most of your stuff. Wishing you continued success in your endeavors.
Your painting skills , me as a Profesional auto body painter & custom paint jobs , your work is perfection son !! Patinas are harder to copy than any other color on the chart and you make it look easy , awesome Profesional job !! I'm impressed to the heavens and back !!
An you learn by doing it . Me I love body work also but puddin tang does great fab work. . I'm old school so I like to drink a beer or ten while doing art on my cars. Bodywork is my art.
Puddin, I don't know why you're so hard on yourself brother. That patina paintwork looks fan-tas-tic my friend! I love that you found those cabinets for the shop, those will sure come in handy!
This month I turned 65 years old. Call me strange if you like but I love your channel, Puddin'. Reminds me of my youth as a spry and chipper young mechanic.
From this side of the camera I cannot tell that you replace the whole bottle of that tailgate. It looks absolutely gorgeous! Keep up the good work 👍✌️🇺🇲
I think you could of painted the new metals a cream color and then color over with the primer and a few other colors. Then sand down to where you like it. Puddin, I love your channels!
Man, this car is making me fall in love with old station wagons.. way more than I used to be. I also love the looks of cars that seem to have been recently pulled from a field, or row of trees.. Its such a shame they don't even offer wagons anymore to people...
I learned to drive on a 69 Rambler with a 3 on the tree; this ride reminds me a lot of that one. They were the SUVs of their time, nobody liked them much but you saw a bunch of them and they got the job done. Puddin is a national treasure and I enjoy every episode!
That Fake patina looks like its fun to do and really helps keep the older cars on the road without breaking the bank to redo an older car or truck,Keep those patina wagons coming Puddin..............................................................Fort Worth,Tx
It's always great to see the two of you working together! I really enjoy this project, I love the 60's model Chevy wagons! Great video, Thanks for sharing! 😁👍
Yeah I was just thinking and trying to remember back what it was like hanging out with a great friend.. But once both of you are married.. that usually stops..lol
Weld that tractor seat to that trash can after a few speed holes around the top and put her on some casters! Be a sweet shop seat. Could even cut out a little spot at the bottom on the side for tool storage 😂
Tool tip. Use some lacquer thinner and those blue paper towels to clean the bondo spreaders when you get done wiping. Also harbor freight has some aluminum panels to use in place of cardboard. You can use the same method to clean those too. Or just sand them if you forget.
I've never been a fan of fake patina, but you are starting to bring me around, so I'd say that looks pretty good. Certainly a whole lot better than the big rustholes that were there before.
Flatbed that thing! I built a "blazeup" years ago for a snowplow truck and it worked out great. I'll only charge you 10% of sales on the shirts with the blazeup logo on them. Cheers puddin!
Its been a bit since i've commented so, the Richardson hats are amazing, the stickers are THICC paper and his ladies do the best darn packin job in the whole US of A!
Pudding is officially the Bob Ross of patina on the ol' lubetube! My Mom was here and I asked what she thought, and she said, "I didn't raise no PUNK!"
Stuff pads by 3M; green=xtra coarse, red=course, gray=medium, white=fine. Evercoat Zgrip #282 is the most popular bondo in North America. There are several others that are better for finish work. The patina look is fine for many vehicles, but growing up in the 50-60-70’s when custom cars were king, that’s what I do. I restore the ones that are classics snd customize the ones too far gone to be viable. Love your enthusiasm! Thanks from Alaska
Man, ole slick 50 got some skills, and you match it up like a champ.. It was just a few days ago you two cut and hacked that bottom section off it seems. Boy it really looks good..Ok fine, see ya next week.
I have the same kitchen cabinets in my shop. A few still have the manufacturer’s sticker inside them. American Kitchens by Avco. They were made in Connersville Indiana In the 50’s
Slick fity for sure you guy's work good together. Sure makes me miss some friends that have moved on to the other side. Never had this much fun with my clothes on people. Great channel.
Awesome progress, so many things go into each day at Puddins fab shop! I knew an old excavation company owner who had a new truck with one of those steel tractor seats in it for him to sit on and drive!!
I'm liking the patiner on that. I got a mini fridge that I want to patiner up kinda like the Datsun looks. Waiting on better weather for painting outside. Love when Slick 50 gets in on the action. You guys always have a good time and crack me up. 🤟
You and slick are good together and 2 heads are better then one love watching all your content and I'm not even a mechanic I just think your a great guy and every episode is like an adventure with you
For a bench top, you can find damaged solid core doors at home centers. You can get good deals on them sometimes. I use them as bench tops in my woodshop
I bought one off of marketplace for 10 bucks to build my wife a desk. Even used the frame to make it look thiccc, lol. The wires from her computer go down through the hole where the handle was.
Any video with Puddin and Slick is always a good time. Tailgate looks good. A tip to add some texture with a darker colour is just fab the brush off a bunch before you hit the car. Make the brush almost dry before hittin the car. Works great for model making. Could help out with the darker tones and not adding too much.
I still have those same metal cabinets in my kitchen. If you sand them smooth, you can paint them with automotive paint and clear them they look good in white and black gloss.
8:49 "I'll do what I'm good at" *pushes broom* two hours of pushing a broom buys Taco Boy and a bottle of suds he's a man of means by no means, king of the Datsuns

Glen, just curious. I can’t find anyone to do a paint job on my suburban for less than 30k. Is that normal these days?
@@Aswaggoner seems to be crazy prices on jobs these days .take it to yur local or macco.
@@devinmichaels6822 I live in Louisiana. Everything down here is shitty. There is no way that I will trust them with my truck.
IMO this is the best channel on UA-cam. Slick 50 is a great addition, you two giggle like a couple of kids. 🇦🇺🇦🇺👍👍
Puddin, I don't know why you're so hard on yourself brother. That patina paintwork looks fan-tas-tic my friend! I love that you found those cabinets for the shop, those will sure come in handy!
I have to admit you and slick 50 are like the perfect pair. Great job guys.
I really enjoy the 2nd channel and you and Slick working together.
Some old Bowling alley tops on those Cabinets would look amazing!
That Sweet Patina sauce made that tailgate look convincing. If I didn't know any different I'd think it was original patina like the rest of the car.
I love the Slick sessions, it’s always fun to watch two friends hanging and messing about.
We need Slick 50 handling body work on the channels more often
Random content videos are perfect for the second channel. They're just fun to watch and chill.
This month I turned 65 years old. Call me strange if you like but I love your channel, Puddin'. Reminds me of my youth as a spry and chipper young mechanic.

Love the wagon. Definitely a great episode.
the stuff you bring back from the brink of death is impressive. Im not a patina guy, but its growing on me.
The tail gate son those old wagons are a work of art.
From this side of the camera I cannot tell that you replace the whole bottle of that tailgate. It looks absolutely gorgeous! Keep up the good work 👍✌️🇺🇲

Living a country boys dream Mr. Puddin. Thanks for bringing us along!
Those cabinets, the wagon... You've stolen my mid century heart!!

I smile every time I see that Puddin new video is out! I know the day is going to be a little better….! Thanks Pudd’in!
Hey! That’s awesome work. Putting that body line on the driver side back and in my opinion , the tailgate is perfect.
Honestly not a big patina fan, but everybody has their own preferences. It’s a cool wagon worth building, but keep up the good work.
Always a great video, with you and slick fitty. He knows how to fix what you can’t fix. Good friend for sure!😊
Weld that tractor seat to that trash can after a few speed holes around the top and put her on some casters! Be a sweet shop seat. Could even cut out a little spot at the bottom on the side for tool storage 😂
Watching you tap that paint on made me think Bob Ross is probably smiling down on ya for making happy mistakes.
I'm diggin this project! Tailgate looks great.
If you can scoop it out of the container, it's good! That Blazer should be a fun project.
That truck looks like a perfect candidate for a flat bed and custom expanded metal grille/headlights behind the grille.
Tailgate turned out great!
That tailgate turned out great !
Dayum that looks mighty fine. Also, your interacting with Slick is just the best to watch. Can't wait to see you do whatever secret you giggle about.

Not many people would know about the gold rings around the mouth. But I haven't seen that much since I was a kid.
Lol😂 you both lean over the same time to see what’s up the the dolly wheel dragging as you moved the wagon into the other side too funny
The way you painted that patina was cool. Haven’t seen that before.
You and slick did an awesome job.
More great 2nd channel stuff... and I agree with ya, these random day to day vids are entertaining as hell.
Need to get a shop lion. Will help with the critter issue and girls love them!
