  • Behind the NEXAT is a completely new arable farming system that has only been made possible thanks to the latest technical advancements. The focal point of the system is the 1100-hp NEXAT tractor, which can also be described as a wide-span carrier vehicle with interchangeable bodies. In this third video, we have collected our own driving experience as part of a test drive and will share all the latest news with you!

    Молоды, данный вариант действительно в металле можно было, что и сделали при наличие определенных узлов и технологий. Универсальность есть качественный переход на возделывание почвы, с применением нейросетей и робототехнического управления.

    Might be ok in optimum field conditions. Little dust, not too wet. flat as a board, smooth as glass. Let's see what it can do combining wheat out on the Palouse .Impressive piece of equipment but it's still one of those things that makes you go..... 'Hmm".

    *I'm curious about the machine's performance in challenging conditions like muddy or rough terrain. Unloading on the move and cab stability enhancements would be interesting too. Wonder if the manufacturer plans to improve cab stability, like with steady cams?* 🛠🌧🪨

    If they want this in the US it needs to be even longer. This is limited to about 50 ft. We have 120foot wide planters. Nexat, make it so you can add cab-less sections to the pilot unit in the field.

      The whole point of the Nexat system is you only need this one machine to do all of your tilling, seeding, spraying and harvesting, and it is set up in a way that converting it to fully autonomous in the future will be a breeze. So instead of these big midwestern farms owning 15 tractors, sprayers, and combines, they can own 5 of these, 5 of each implement, and then the only time the farmer would have to mess with them is when they get stuck, break down, or need fuel, leaving them free to run around between fields and to and from town (trust me farmers are always busy)

    If the point is to run on the same lines each year anyways then just put down rails. Then you don't need 400hp just to move it around either.

    I would like to see this machine handle really muddy conditions.
    Rough ground/ rocky
    Can it unload underway.
    I notice that the cab extended bounced around.
    Are the manufacturer going to upgrade the cab stability like the steady cams?

    Really cool machine and I'm sure it works well in those flat fields in Europe. I want to see it run on some of the hilly terrain in the US and Southern Canada...and also how you pull it out of a mud hole when it gets stuck...There seems to be no safe way to connect another 600HP tractor to this thing without causing some major damage. And how do you disconnect the electric drives to freewheel the vehicle? It has no clutch like a mechanical drive vehicle. Please post something to show these issues with the design.

      Interesting. So have you tested the machine yet? You can't make that kind of judgment without testing it, I assume.
      Or is that a typical internet comment that really has no idea what he is talking about?

    Interesting concept but certainly nothing new. Older viewers from the UK may remember the Dowler Gantry system in the late 1970's/ early 1980s that was around 40ft (12m) wide and could do much of what you see here. He was certainly using cultivations and had a sprayer that ran at 80ft (24m). I vaguely remember a combine module as well. I think it had 3 point linkage on the rear so it could be used with conventional cultivators. Naturally it was long before GPS or even any serious electronics and the only one I saw in the flesh was 2 wheel drive with the undriven wheels being large castors. David Dowler was a man ahead of his time. RIP.

      Така машина була започаткована в радянському союзі, щогось проект не пішов далі експериментів.
      І рахую що по проєкту було багато викликів,
      По потужності та по приводу руху.

    I would hate to have to get one of those unstuck in 3 feet of mud on a Montana farm. In road mode it looks doable, in field mode I'd be scared of snapping it in half or having two bit enough tractors to pull on it evenly.

  • @theunemployedtrucker
    @theunemployedtrucker Рік тому

    It seems like a invention that isn't needed, they seem to be trying to reinvent the tractor when it doesn't need reinventing.
    You will have to get rid of nearly all your machines and spend an absolute fortune in buying the nexat and all the relevant attachments to farm how you were doing it in the first place, plus this machine is 12 to 14 meters long so it's only really going to work for large farms with easy field access.
    I can't see this selling in large numbers, its an invention that didn't need inventing in the first place.

      @jimbobhootenanny4440 Рік тому +1

      I looked up price and they think the hole system will cost 2 million 😒 if this was john deere they might get that but in reality very few can pay for that most farmers can got out and get all the equipment to replace nexat for around 500k thats 1/4 the price if you want to promote regenative farming you have to be competitive in price 2 million is to high. Realistic price would be 750k to 1 million.

    • @bunnywarren
      @bunnywarren Рік тому +1

      @@jimbobhootenanny4440 This is the biggest problem I see with the technology (assuming it works). There's no point using this system unless you go 100% into it and at that point you have to replace so much equipment it's unlikely that the farmer would be able to afford it. When harvesting they would still need tractors to pull trailers so would have implements for them but, if used, these extra tractors would negate the benefit of using controlled traffic in the fields.

    • @williamheffernan5826
      @williamheffernan5826 Рік тому +1

      @@jimbobhootenanny4440 I don't think you're being realistic. The farms that this would be getting marketed to are buying a single tractor, 9RX640 for example that have list prices of $845k, then you have to buy the seed drill, or grain cart to go behind that.
      The Nexat may not be the immediate solution, but systems like it will. it'll take time for them to prove the worth for sure, but $2M, when you take it all into consideration, is not as big as you may think for the size of operations that this would be sold to.

    • @jimbobhootenanny4440
      @jimbobhootenanny4440 Рік тому +2

      @@williamheffernan5826 its like 1% of farmers can buy everything new i was more realistic with 60k to 120 k used front wheel assisted, 90 to 150k Used 4x4 and then a 70k to 120k Used combine one or two cheep wagon puller for both you only need a 220 hp to 250 at most so 60 to 120k for them as well then wagons and Implements 30 to 50k each wagons you need 4 to 6 and 15 to 30k for those there it is as realistic as I can make it for you.
