    Videos like this that tell how to fix something economically are much more enjoyable and helpful than a video about a $10,000 niche attachment. Thank you for still doing videos like this from time to time, Tim.

    Good times 👍. Around my area they use to call the Fiberglass in the can tiger hair. Could get it in long strand or short. I was partial to the the short as I could smooth it out better on my old junk cars. I haven’t touched the stuff for years and not sure if that name still stands. 😊

    Husband learned fiberglass repair in the coast guard and went into marine trades and says epoxy is the best for repairing fiberglass . He recommends West System Epoxy.
    Also works great in woodworking.
    But follow the directions. As he says these resins heat up. If mixed wrong you can get a sever exothermic reaction ,this also applies to standard fiberglass resins

    Excellent work on the Fiberglass repair. I think that Chris has done this once before. Any body work is very time consuming with every step having a waiting period to add to the time. Merry Christmas to All, Tim Christy, Katriel and Chris. Be safe the next few days.

    Being a burger guy thought you might like this. We made our annual trip to Donaldson's for Christmas chocolates. (Almost waited to late as they were just about out!) While up there we went to Wendy's to get a Son of Baconator and a cup of chili. They gave me a couple of the hot sauce packs for my chili and I decided to try some on my sandwich. That's pretty dang good. Merry Christmas up there, hope you are not dealing with a lot of snow. There was a hole in the big blue splotch over our place and I don't think we got an inch.

    you might have been able to reuse the door and window seal as most of the time the spring steel clips just get sprung a little. take a pliers and clamp the seal down and use a rubber mallet to get it to fit on the door.

      Pretty sure this will work well. This stuff is tough…and the break wasn’t in a typical stress location. Shouldn’t get hit like that again unless I run into something with the side of the cab.

    • @russellg5849

    Them hoods are expensive. I had to order a upper and lower hood for GT235 And 4 decals and I that was not everything for the hood just what I needed. That was almost 8 hundred dollars. Everything for a new hood would have been over 1 thousand dollars

    Our 3046r has the rear window seal attached to the glass and not the cab. Also, our ac condenser is always clogged with dust after rotary cutting because it gets around the cab filter. Does anyone have any idea on how to help the filter seal to the cab for better dust prevention in the cab? Great video Tim! God Bless you and your family.

    • @TractorTimewithTim
      @TractorTimewithTim  Рік тому

      We plan to look at the sealing and insulation of the cab a/c when we go back together. I believe we need to insulate the roof…I think will help the cooling system a lot!

    • @1Corinthians15v1-4
      @1Corinthians15v1-4 Рік тому

      @@TractorTimewithTim yeah, here in Texas the AC is mediocre at best after it gets above 90 degrees. Running the blower slowly produces colder air but it’s not enough volume to keep the cab cool and then when running it full blast the air can’t cool off enough because half of the plenum is the green roof that heats up from the sun. I thought about wrapping the roof in some type of white paint protection films like you can put on cars to reflect the sun...but then it’ll be white.
