They broke rules, but it still felt kindly and they knew their craft very proficiently (unlike other more modern artist groups). I think the fact that there were both men and women in this group behaving as equals (at this time) is very telling, the atmosphere seems familial. What a wonderful environment to support and inspire creativity, I hope more of these cultures emerge, our planet and people need them.

Thanks for putting me onto this. I visited the house many years ago & found it v. potent.
I wonder how many artists working today will leave such an atmosphere behind them.

Keynes and Woolf (to a lesser extent) produced the greatest impact. The others are, objectively speaking, very minor figures in the 20th century.

Fascinating video! I’m into bohemian style and curious to know more about Bloomsbury for a long time, this excursion opened new perspectives into lives of those incredible characters who formed that circle. Thank you so much, love it!😊❤️

Wow such a great vid on the beautiful, beautiful, inspiring Bloomsbury G-- where does it come from? I'm looking to reference it in a research paper I'm formulating. Thanks

I'm not sure I would say this home represents a rejection of materialism. The material items may not be elite/expensive, but they look loved.
