I have a strong connection to Charleston, having helped with the restoration in the 80s, camping by the pond for two glorious summers, so any new vision of the place fills my heart with joy! Thanks, Lynn B.
I know this place is close to your heart Andrew and as we've never been, and it was a glorious day, we took off to visit, and now part of my heart stays here. It was so beautiful. We couldn't go into the house with Ky, but one day I'd like to do that. The area around the farmhouse too is stunning. I can imagine how 'wild camping' for you here would be - bliss 🥰 I'm glad you enjoyed seeing it with it's May flowers. Thank you for watching 🥰
What an enchanting & captivating video Lynn. A fine place this looks. Your music was lovely & nicely suited the aubience. So thoroughly enjoyable! ❤️ 🌺 💮 🌸 🏵️ 😊
Thank you Lynn. I became really interested in the Bloomsbury set, reading about them as a teenager and have been fascinated ever since. I suppose because they were so different. It’s about time I visited again. 😊
Thank you for watching Kerry. I have only just recently been reading up on them, since we did the walk with Andrew at Berwick actually. They were fascinating people. Oh yes, go back and visit. There is a lot going on there at the moment, as you will have seen, but when the people went in to the talks it suddenly became really quiet and we almost felt like we had the place to ourselves (after I had done my filming I might add - which was a shame). It was a beautiful day, a beautiful visit and we were so pleased we decided to go 🥰
@@LynnB_Ky my girlfriends and I went for an afternoon a few years ago and did the full house tour. I loved the inside of the house, the painted furniture, which I have had a go at in the past and the use of colour just made it a house I felt I could live in. Nothing stuffy or boring.
Looks like a nice place to hang out! I walk by there sometimes when out and about in Firle area and use the facilities (incl cafe) and visited the house once a long while back now.
It's lovely isn't it Jean. I want to visit the house one day, but no dogs allowed so I'll have to leave Ky behind 😞 which I rarely do. Thank you for watching 🥰

@@LynnB_Ky Oh yes, you will be amazed by the interior.
@@andrewnorris1 Oh I'm sure. I can't wait to go back one day and see it
Lovely views!
Thank you for watching, and for your nice comment 🥰 I am glad you enjoyed it

@@kezzaba1 That sounds wonderful Kerry. I’m really excited to go in the house one day 🥰
Beautiful video Lynn … going into the house makes it extra special, I’d recommend . X
Thank you so much for watching Claire and yes, I'd really like to go and see inside one day. I'm glad you enjoyed visiting the garden with me 🥰
🧡 I would also 🧡 to visit Monk's House and Garden but a bit far away 🇦🇺

@Jean Blemings Jean do we have a route map for tomorrow? I have asked on the group page - I'm thinking about roads en route
@@LynnB_Ky Hi Lynn - no route map as such as I sort of made walk up. Have adjusted route to take out the two road crossings so should mostly be OK.
@@jeanblemings5352 Oh thank you Jean, sounds great
See you tomorrow then x
