If you add gloss (or matte if that is what you have on hand, gloss works a little better though in my opinion) Mod Podge to the "chocolate" paint for the drizzle & even the scrabble pieces it gives it more of a realistic look rather than that flat painted look....I only know this through lots of trial & error over the 10 yrs Ive been making fake food props, lol, bc unfortunately when I started out there were NO videos to be found and very few blogs that shared these things! Which is why Im always watching any food prop videos NOW on YT bc theyve really popped up over the last year or two and Im hoping there are easier or cheaper or faster ways to do things, lol, but nope...seems like the first few were shared, then maybe tweaked a little here and there, lol, but mostly the same stuff I learned long ago! BUT, Im still hopeful, lol!
You could also use Fabric or 3 dimensional paint (Dollar Tree sells them in many colors or you can get the Scribbles or the larger Tulip Slick at craft stores or Amazon) for the chocolate sauce inside your cup, it'll be a little more expensive, but it also makes a great drizzle on top of the faux whip cream (which you may have used, lol, I stopped the video at 3 min to type this before I forgot 😁), just be sure to get the 'shiny' ones. I love the Scribbles shiny hot chocolate or chocolate one myself. And the Tulip Slick in white is great for any kind of white frosting or drizzle, but I find caulking mixed with mod podge to be a much better "glaze" type drizzle that you need to be more of a see through white, not opaque like a solid frosting, if that makes sense...like I said, lol, a LOT of trial and error, then remembering what I did 2 yrs before to get the outcome when I gave up on something after I figured out how to do it....a very bad habit of mine, lol! Love the glasses you used, Im ALWAYS on the lookout for a great set of Milkshake and Sundae glasses and those are really cool! They remind me of old soda shop type glasses you see in older movies or shows! Great find! Anyway, hope this helps!

Very nice that's how you do it, but you can make the spackle a little thinner by adding a small amount of water so it's easier to pipe it on
