Sorry for the reloaded video. The origional one crashed due to the silky smooth operation of the UA-cam editor. UA-cam, you owe me 303 views...lol... PS: the UA-cam editor is very problematic and can cause your uploads to stop functioning as the video reprocesses your changes:(
My friend owns a real one.The windshield latch is correct, but the original Jeep has two. Drive/Pass side. They look like a heavy duty version of the latches on a Tx case. The details of this one are top notch. Great content Rich. AirHammer out!!

I'm late to the party on this unit having just found out about it while looking up information on a 43 Ford GPW I am considering, but I just wanted to say that this is the best review of this unit I have seen and I've looked at dozens. Excellent job. I may have to buy one to carry in the GPW if I get it. Or maybe buy one as a consolation if I don't get the GPW.
I, too, am interested in the Jeep. PnP version. Put a 6+ channel air radio, and a bunch of lights and a sound module, in it, and control it with an air radio. :-) Looks really nice!
I'm not a big car guy also rich but I've been thinking about giving this as a gift. It doesn't fast though. But that's what I was thinking of giving it as a gift more for scale looks not its speed.
Obviously you have little experience with RC vehicles. A 4 link suspension is far better then a 3 link suspension. Granted it's still nothing more then a toy. Made of cheap plastic and subpar materials. And I can't even fathom what else will break in short order. I am not happy with my purchase of this. And don't expect it to be durable what-so-ever.
No battery charger included, so what does it need ???? Every video does not mention a charger. Why have every one left that out ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
This review is older I guess !? And it no longer comes with the better 2 piece TX. And instead it comes with a cheaply constructed , fixed 1 PC TX. I've no idea if it functions as well as the 2 PC transmitter. As it comes with an XT60 male plug and I'm unable to test it's operation until I can obtain an XT60 adapter plug to a Deans style T-plug. All my batteries utilize a Deans style T-plug. The details look cool and it still arrives in the Styrofoam case. But IMO this is made with cheaply made subpar plastics compared to my 1/6 scale Axial SCX6 ! An the construction differences are between night and day 🤔 I'm not happy with the money I wasted buying this plastic toy. Don't trust these youtube reviews. They are not reliably reviewed by true RC enthusiasts.
Does not even come up now! Other channels are having problems today with a new round of games being played by utube despite what Trump has said about censorship. They are screwing with Steel Truth very badly to day also. Sick of censorship!!!!!!

I ordered one and took it out in the yard yesterday. Great scale looks but the steering servo died after 30 minutes.
Rich the rear lights you talk about are reflectors the light are the smaller ones more inboard. Thanks for posting.
