I have a teardrop trailer that I modified, I put a 2.75 inch lift kit on mine and went from 29 inch stock tires to 33 inch tall BFGMTR tires also got a double height tongue box which I can put my generator and lots of gear inside, it’s so much fun to be able to get off work one afternoon hop in my jeep pick hook up the trailer and go up to the mountains overnight, it’s a great tool for going up to the mountains, A high-quality air pump I think the portable ARB is the best, air down those tires on the back to a real low pressure helps incredibly and also articulating hitch and you can pretty much go almost wherever you want, thanks for sharing the video and have fun out there with your family.
its very cool i do like that it has more windows than the nobo and lots of tear drops. its my biggest complaint about them, cant see nature feels like a coffin. the only thing i cant stomach is the price. but its very sweet looking. the one thing i think they should have is a water heater for hot showers and the stove should have a ignitor.
Hey man nice just being out from the house and enjoy the scenery with the kids. How is the Rog. I just bought a Braxton creek bushwhacker It’s nice but didn’t know it compares to the ROG
If you didnt have kids would you be happy with BH? For us no kids so we don't need the bunk beds. Would you consider 12rk over 12bh if it was just for you and wife? Looking at a 12bh
Did the family have a good enough time to do it again? I am considering this type of trailer and I live in the same area, this type of weather is pretty typical of the early and late season trips we make.
The kids love the RV. They beg to sleep in it in front of the house even. We let them pick out all the decorations so they have more attachment I think.
Hello. I notice you upgraded the stock hitch and receiver to a LocknRoll. It is just a simple drop in replacement or do you need to modify the tongue? Thank you.
I just released another video talking about the upgrades I did. I did have to cut about 2 inches off the back of the lock and roll so that it would fit tight on the trailer tongue then just drilled new holes and put grade 8 bolts on it.
@mikeoutdoors769 colorado is beautiful, I'm a retired truck driver, from Maine, wife is from New York, we live in Florida, we love the freedom here and our governor, not the weather or the growing population though, stay safe brother
Great Video Thank You for sharing.... I sell the ROG in Ft Worth and when folks ask about extreme cold camping I show them your trip.
What dealer are you at in Fort Worth we may be looking at one of these in the very near future

snow is melting on your jeep and then refreezing on the rog. nothing you can do about that.
Cute
How'd the trailer handle in the snow?
Did great. Tracked good and still stopped great.
Where did you buy this model? I didn’t know they had a survival edition for the BH model. Thanks

@@mikeoutdoors769 Thank you for the information.
That slush adds some weight to the tongue.
You’re not lying! Traded the jeep for an F-150 so I don’t have to stress about that anymore
Rog is sasquatch proof??
Main reason I bought it! Not a single encounter so far.
