Great ideas! What type of fasteners did you use for the drink and flashlight holders? Were you able to figure out where the internal framing is or are they just attached to the inside skin? We're looking at either the 12 or 14 Survival with the overlanding package.
They’re just the main flip down cupholders and broom holders on Amazon. They come with 3/4” screws that give plenty of bite in the interior walls. Appreciate you watching the video and subscribing. Definitely go with the overland package!
I hope you were able to remove the items you replaced so you didn’t have to pay for them initially AND THEN replace them right away. We saw these at Overland Expo East last weekend, and I thought there were some odd choices they made as a manufacturer. You are correcting them one by one.
@@mikeoutdoors769 I just sent them a message! Thank you. We’ll be following you for more tips and tricks. Our maiden voyage is going to be next weekend. We’re in Washington State.
Loving my ROG RK12 SS... What Lock and Roll brand did you use? Was it a direct bolt on, or did you have to drill new holes? I did the OVS 270 as well. Also attached the ROAM 6.5'x8' awning with room attachment on the road side (opens to road side door) for more "interior room". Thank you for the info...
Hi Mike, I have the same trailer as yours. The only difference mine is not the survival series. I wonder if you have easy access on your water pump? Can you make video how to access the water pump? Thanks
After ONE outing: -Faucet fell off sink and replacement leaks…finally had to fix myself -slide out misaligned and hit trim strip…again, had to fix myself. -spare tire mount cracked and had to be replaced -linoleum bubbling up -stove not functional and had to be replaced -doors misaligned…one is leaking and one won’t lock with deadbolt -folding table in galley broken and had to be replaced
@@adamsnyder8407sheesh that's a lot! Are you overall happy or do you regret purchasing it? We're hoping to purchase one but I will definitely be on the lookout for these issues
I think your just fine if you live where there not long mountain roads. We ended up trading the jeep in for an f-150 just so we don’t have to think about it
@@robertkoch2432 i love the lift. Extremely glad i did it. I did end up trading the jeep in for an f-150. The jeep kept getting too hot for my liking, pulling the long mountain passes in Colorado.
Great video and awesome mods!
Thank you for the support!
Great info!
I look forward to your Timbrin video.
We just added the screens Encore started selling as well.

Can you show how the awning is mounted? We just ordered our rog and I’m looking into a 270 awning, thanks!
We just bought one also. I’m curious where you got the screen doors from? Great suggestions for upgrades also!
We got them directly from Encore.

It’s the 528 2” bolt on coupler. The holes line up but you have to cut about an inch off the end of the lock n roll for it to fit and line up right.

I know you have to remove the vertical panel under the bunk bed. I’ll see about making a maintenance video. Great idea!
Ok. I appreciate that. Have a good day
Great video! How did you attach the 270 awning to the rack? Did the OVS 270 come with everything needed to mount it? Thanks!
I used 6 u bolts to mount it to 3 of the cross bars
Can you provide any pics of how it’s mounted? Thanks!!
What was the make and model of your awning?
Ovs 270
Mike, Where did you find the flashlight holders? I've been looking, cant seem to find those.
Thanks

Did you need anything special to mount the 270 awning?
I used the mounting brackets that came with it and just used U-bolts to mount it to the roof racks
Nice to see someone enjoying their ROG. I’m still just trying to get mine to function properly. 😡
What’s going with it?

Forget this trailer.
Too many problems for a new trailer. Manufacturer cut corners.
Link to the iphone adapter to the TV??
and the shower!
I have a stick Jeep Wrangler JLU. How would it handle this?

What size Loc N Roll trail side coupler did you get. The tongue on my ROG measures 2 1/4”. Also how much drop on your Jeep side.
I’m pretty sure it was the 506 for the trailer side. I had it pretty level on the jeep. I didn’t have it lowered at all after the trailer was lifted
How do you like the lift? I watched the video. Looks nice. I drive a Jeep Gladiator with 3” lift on 37” tires
