Hi Daniel. I hope you're well. I'm not only a new subscriber but I'm just about to enter the world of Magnet Fishing. It certainly looks like a fascinating hobby & with removing loads of scarp metal from our waterways it's great for the environment 👍. I'm really looking forward to watching your videos & getting as much advice as possible 😀. One quick question if I may: I've been looking at Magnet Fishing kits on Amazon. They include, Magnet, rope ( normally 66ft) & gloves. Problem is there are so many conflicting reviews. Would you recommend these kits? Take care Daniel 🙂 Wayne
Recently upgraded to a 250kg magnet from a 120kg. Im a little worried about losing my new magnet since I've been using 550lb paracord until now so have been looking into new ropes. What are your thoughts on maybe using a 10m long towing strap (v.high load rating obviously)…? Seen some for £15. I've already got some blue builders rope that I've got on my grapple but it really doesn't feel that strong to me. Cheers for any help!
