I'm not for paying a fee. I pay to fish and some stretches of canal are impossible to fish because of junk. The canal trust should be pleased people are cleaning them up.
I agree. I pay fishung license. And moat if the rivera round here you have to have a boston book £35 extra a yeah con. So won't be paying again to magnet fish.
If the Canal Trust don't like because it's dangerous, then why should taking money from us make them like it? After all, money doesn't take away the risk, right? Hypocrisy.
Hi Daniel, that's a nice lake area, better than the dodgy one you did last time! That bikes a keeper, not a spot of rust anywhere, it looks like it's only been in there a few days! Also that water is nice & clean, compared to the canals! Looks like you've exumed some poor kids pet hamster or mouse from its watery grave. I don't think you should have to pay to help clean up the environment, in a comparison, for example, it would be the same as saying if people walked round their local area picking up rubbish and were told you have to pay to do that! Great vid, you're welcome to give me a shout out, I've only got 37 subscribers!
I'm up for paying a fee as I'm one of the good ones clearing away ect.. Great video buddy I watch every second of it.. And thank so much for the shoutout :) what a great guy you are.. Good luck fella and happy hunting
i started magnet fishing a while back, and just on my first day i knew it would cause problems with councils in whatever country you live in. Yes ok, we are cleaning the waterways but who is going to clean up the stuff we leave behind? Should the councils pay you/us for cleaning the waterways and we/you/us dispose of our finds ourselves for eg bring your/our/us finds to scrap metal merchants and get it weighed in and payed out per ounce/gram/kilo/ton or should we pay the council to clean it up for us and then they will make not only money from the magnet fishers but also from the weigh in at scrap metal merchants.
All my stuff gets cleared from the river or canal bank to a location where the scrap guys can pick it up they aint going to walk down a tow path to access it well trucks miles away
personally i would say no to a licence, the idiots will still carry on no matter what and wont be punished for it just the average joe who plays by the rules, so why should any section of society have to have a licence to stand out from the idiots, also magnet fishers etc are doing the council and rivers authorities a favour by cleaning crap out that is poisoning or destroying the waters they are getting free work. just my thoughts bud. :)
If the cannal trust stops magnet fishing then they may as well stop real fishing for fish as I'm sure that people fall into the water while fishing and have passed away. Why are they only focusing on the the two people who passed? Is it the family members of the recently passed? Again, I ask where's the video footage of the day that this happened on to show us what really happened that day?
Youre doing a service by cleaning out water bodies for free, as long as you take your finds away with you, its all good scrap anyway, so no you shouldn't have to pay for a license.
The bike find should technically be taken to the police first, as its legaly theft by finding, if its unclaimed after a period of time you can keep it.
When I see you all pulling up motor's, computers, batteries and other environmentally hazardous stuff at your own risk.. and many of you seem to have a junk man to collect what you can't carry.. I think you guys deserve at least a tax break based on annual weight of the stuff you're hauling out of the waters as you're improving the environment. Best of luck. Keep on doing good and having fun.
Promoting magnet fishing licence? How about the people and young family that can't afford a licence, you have just killed it for them, as its something to do for free, weres the unsubscribe button?
