Heres a neat trick for you guys, duplicate tainted mental.. refine tained metal until you have 4095(i think) clusters and you can build as many refiners on top of the first one as youd like, for each refiner you pick up youll be getting 4000+ nanites per refiner. Infinite time saved, you're welcome

Of course you can use it for any item though so use it for unlimited money, any upgrades or for nanites 😊 always worth breaking a ship up and duping the parts, one of the components gives you around 600m units per 50 stack

Using an exploit in a game's mechanics make me feel like I'm cheating the system and makes me happy. Switching to creative mode or using actual cheats just feels like I'm cheating myself and makes me sad.
personally my favorite way to get nanites is through S class starhip salvage duplication. You only need 1 S class starship and there is no risk to losing it as long as you have a back up save and perform the (relatively easy) duplication glitch correctly every time.
Another super fast way is to dupe a bunch of salvaged data. Then refine a bunch of them until the output side of the refiner is loaded with as much nanite clusters as you need. Once the output side is full dupe that same refiner as much as you want and you will get millions this way
I haven't played I a hot minute but when the sentinal ships came I to existence they added the hylian brain. If u get one and dupe iti think it takes a second per brain and they were about 1k nanites per. I don't remember if they le5u get more then 4k but once u get 4k u can dupe on that. U also used to be able to put the nanites in the refinable slot and pick them up and replace them to dupe but I think that part has been fixed however if u put something u want to dupe in the refinable slot and pick it up and replace it u should be able to dupe loop forever.

All you have to do is just make sure you fill up a refiner with nanites and add another refiner on top. Don't take out and make sure when you pick it up it says inventory is full and keep trying to pick it up even if you're full. You'll notice you will receive all the nanites every time you try to pick it up. I use runaway mold but tainted metal is great to it stacks to max! You can leave it in base just make sure when you do it your inventory is full. Also make sure refiner is off when you do it!
@@Archon7478 I'm guessing he is refining the runaway mold, then you pickup the output (refined nanites) and place them in the refiner input where mold was instead of your inventory (which adds them to the balance).
you can also use refinery to process stuff that end un making nanites and then dupe the rafinery the same way you did and get the resulting nanites everytime you dupe it
If you exploit it .. refined doesn't refine the whole stack. It will stop after refining 1 or 2 nainites It happened after I made 112k nainites. I upgraded my Rediant piller to S class, and it was trash even after the S class upgrade
@user-lq6vm8yt4h may be you are right... refiner after refining 4095 nainites, it doesn't like to refine anymore.. So 4095 nainites are the highest effective number to duplicate . After refining 4095 nainites, i put 10x refiner, and I repeated it 3 times and got 112k ..
The smarter thing to do is to open all those duped suspicious packets, find the one that provides the most nanites, and then repeat the cycle duplicating just that one
I got a better idea duoe tge lurple glass from sentinals they always spit out upgrades that are worth the same 4800 nanites per stack of 10 thats the best way for duplication can easily yield you 200.000 nanites an hour

Because that takes away the rush you get when finding a glitch Responsible adults want to save time on grinding so they can enjoy thd game more, but certain people lose interest if there are no challenges whatsoever.. so playing until you get everything to get rolling in dough is an achievement, not flipping a lever to enable everything Its all psychological, if everything is free from the beginning then money loses meaning, but if you habe to stack it high before spending it, its a completely different feeling.. not to mention that most, sensible people do it to get a couple thousand at a time, to skip grinding and/or speed up their progress, not do it until they reach the absolute limit of how much you can hold And even if they fix the glitch.. yeah, as you said, the button to habe everything free is still there, so it really wouldnt change anything

Personally, I think leaving the glitches in adds to the atmosphere of the game. Glitches in reality are literally a thing that can occur in game canonically: I don't see why the Traveler wouldn't intentionally exploit reality glitches for their own means.
@@Archon7478it’s a sentient ship that you’ll have to search for on a dissonant system. Look for the planet that says dissonant on it, go to it and look for a drill. Go close to that drill and it will say echo locator destroy it and escape.
These packets dont give the best nanites you need the purple glass you get from sentinals its worth more .. you got advice from some beginners i think 😂😂😂
There is a setting in game to make everything free. You dont even need to bother with dupes. You want free upgrade, just change the setting, buy the thing you want, and you can turn the setting back to normal if you dont want everything free afterwards .
That and they've had a duplication glitch since the start of the game they haven't bothered to fix, even knowing about it. It's just extra steps to avoid the everything's free setting
I'm not a big fan of video tutorials about exploiting duplication bugs. Sure you can get a lot of nanites fast, but that effectively takes away their otherwise high value and ruins the fun of the game in the process. I have a NMS character that I've been playing on and off since a few patches after launch. Currently I've found that after maxing out my reputation with each of the three alien species, I can buy weapon, starship and exosuit upgrades at a space station for a 50% discounted nanite cost and then immediately sell them back at full price. I haven't exploited this either because I am pretty sure it was an oversight by the devs and will likely be addressed in a future update. A legitimate way to earn nanites fast, in game, without using exploits is to farm Sentinels for Salvaged Glass. Convert the glass into upgrades, then sell the upgrades to an upgrade dealer. You can earn nanites rather quickly by fighting Sentinel ships (attack a space station to start that process). Another way is to go on derelict freighter salvage runs, collect everything, trade in the captain's log and crew manifest to the scrap dealer at the space station for tainted metal and then process the tainted metal into a LOT of nanites (4,000+) with a refiner. If you have 50mil credits or more, you can buy A-tier and S-tier starships, scrap them, then sell the starship upgrades to a dealer for 400+ nanites apiece. Most ships give between 2-4 upgrades, so each ship purchased will earn you 800-2,000 nanites. I run daily missions with my fleet of frigates which nets me more than enough credits to do this. None of the above are options if you haven't invested time and energy into the game. Just something to bear in mind.
I think it is fun to play both ways. nobody is making anyone dupe and nobody is stopping anyone. it's just something to learn and try. I have not played in years and I am thinking of trying it just for fun

If they had made bulk open crate option, maybe, but opening 500 crates 1 by 1 is totally not fast and also boring AF You can just take something like larval core, dupe it, than feed 8 stacks of it into portable refiner to get 4k nanites (inventory item form) fast, then put them in source slot of that same refiner and dupe that 4k as much as you want..
But this method is not what I mean. Refine an entire stack of nanites (however you want) move nanites over to imput slot of refiner. Do refiner dupe glitch. Way faster than going and selling anything

Actually the best materials to duplicate for units are certain parts you get from claiming scrap, it's like 12,000,000 per individual part

Larval cores make faster nanites and more for the time it takes you to do this, refine a stacks and just dupe the actual nanites 👍
