Im so happy to hear Hamish is learning to love life again. I love your channel. Both for the truly wonderful colouring and coaching and for the fact that you are not an automaton living in a hermetically sealed and soundproofed filming cell.
Fun seeing what all these different markers will do ! And they all look amazing ! Hearing Hamish in the back ground don’t bother me a bit 😂 I’m just so glad he’s happy and playing and doing well ! ❤ I’m having a sleepless night so I’m enjoying this video very much !😊
Another really helpful video Jackie. Thank you! I don't mind listening to Hamish playing in the background at all. In fact, I think it's wonderful that he feels confident enough to play. It sounds to me that you are doing a great job taking care of Hamish and this is evident in the progress that he's made since he's been living with you.
Great demonstration. I never thought of using water based markers this way but it's very effective. Thank you for the useful tip. And i'm always happy to see (or hear) a happy playful puppy in the background. Not bothered at all. Cheers from Italy. Dan 🧡
Thank you so much for this video. Very helpful to see how to use water based markers in a different way than I'm used to using. Love hearing Hamish having a good time playing in the background- seems like he is adjusting well and enjoying life- You are a God send to him. He had me laughing 🤣with the raucous in the background- sounded like he was rearranging furniture
This video is so timely, though I wish I'd seen it a week ago, lol! Your way of showing/ teaching is so relaxing, and always so helpful to me. I couldn't get the feel using colored pencils on a download where the black areas came out speckly. I got brave and pulled out the few tombows I have. I kinda got the look I wanted. And, even with water, though clumsy. This video would've been so helpful! I didn't think about the super tips I have. I'm gonna keep working on my insecurities and post it on my Instagram 😮. AND, it brought me great joy that you let Hammish play ❤❤❤
Thanks Linda! Persevere….progress will only come with practise ❤️ It’s okay to fail - it’s so valuable to learn what doesn’t work - along with what does work 😉 Failure is good 😊
Lol, you pronouncing Kawaii like Hawaii 🫶 0:40 Now that’s cute! 🤗 I love some of the Anko/Kmart range (I’m NZ tho) even if they’re super budget, their gel pens and 36 watercolour paints are pretty good too!
Yes they do, I think it pays to experiment with everything - they might be harder to use colouring onto a hard surface first and using as a wash because the nib is so fine but it isn’t impossible. They are watersoluble when used direct into the paper 👍
Thank you really enjoyed this, does 😅the Lulu mayo paper hold up ok, any bleed through (I have a few of these books uncoloured and would be a faster but satisfying method to use on them) btw have no issues with life’s background noises be they hamish or neighbours mowing thank you 😊
Or the neighborhood riding by on his motorbike... 😄 Being more or less a shut-in in a 55+ "community," I miss the signs and sounds of life. So, I love all those neighborhood sounds, rowdy dogs and all. 😁
The Lulu Mayo books always seem to go “spotty” when used with a lot of water but once dry it looks okay. I think it’s safe to say don’t use too much water or if you do, accept you may get bleed through especially with darker colours - I recommend always trying things out on pages you don’t mind sacrificing or a back page is possible. Thanks for watching, I appreciate you accepting all the life noises 🤣
If you use a lot of water yes….however light washes allowed to completely dry in between seem okay for the most part - but it all depends on the paper. I’d suggest trying on a test page or on a page that you are not too bothered about the page behind. Its probably safer to assume it will bleed, especially darker colours. I will try and remember to do a video showing the back side of pages 🤞
It seems “essentially” is my word of the day and I didn’t realise how many times I used it in this video 🙄
Didn't notice. I was concentreting on the colouring and the tecnique ( i listened too, i swear) 😅
the teddy bear / train page is already looking really pretty .Love hearing about Hamish !
Thanks Louise 😊

Thanks Sharon, I was wondering should I rename the channel “Warts and All Colouring” 🤣😁 thanks for watching ❤️
It's so good to hear Hameish is doing well and enjoying himself.
He was quite the lunatic this afternoon! He’s sleeping it off again now 🤣

Glad it was helpful! Hamish seems to be settling in well 🤞 probably doing a bit better than was expected.
Thanks for another video showing how enjoyable and inexpensive colouring with markers can be ❤❤
No problem 👍

He was being very silly, it was actually quite difficult to concentrate and not laugh all the way through, he is bringing a lot of joy ❤️

Great video! It was funny thinking about Hamish playing with his toys.❤
Glad you liked it!! He was going rather crazy there 😁
Thanks again Jackie for this vid! So happy for you and Hamish that he’s getting a happy dog..😊
I wish I’d got video today - he had a play date with the neighbours’ Australian Kelpie and he was a happy dog indeed! ❤️

Yeah, I don’t always know how to pronounce stuff 😁 thanks for watching! 😊 I love NZ….visited twice and want to come back again ❤️
Steadtler fine liner's work pretty good putting on paper and using water brushes 😊

Very Pretty

@@spare_room_studio thanks for your response maybe I’ll start with some pastel crayolas 🥰
Hi Jackie do they all bleed through the paper?
