I LOVE THIS. I am a medium density woman and have a hard time with styles. Let me add that I am a struggle parter on myself as well. I spent the pandemic watching soooooo many UA-cam videos that I now refuse to pay $300.00 for braids ( unless I am going to an even or out of town). Mind you I was a weekly person at the shop. Thank you for this!. My hair isn't as long as your mom's hair so I add hair.

Yup, the pandemic pushed me into learning how to do my own hair….and now, there’s NO turning back! Not only do I save time AND money, but I’ve learned a new skill that I never thought I’d ever know how to do. I’m grateful for that

I only used the foam and the twist cream, i think what helped it not unravel was me braiding it all the way to the ends !

What she means is on the scalp braids are considered to be corrnrows . Off the scalp braids are braids that are not connected to your scalp. They would be considered single braids, like box braids.
