Moisturizing is definitely easier with braids. Otherwise I would go through bottles multiple times per month. I was thinking about giving up on minis after this last run because it's getting longer and takes foreeeeever, but after seeing your patience and YOUR length...
Ok y’all…so i do mini twists not braids. I leave them 1-5 weeks (i redo the front every two weeks) and THESE STYLES WILL GROW UR HAIR! I put shea butter on my ends every few days. I put growth oil or a growth spray on my scalp every few days….if my hair is flat or stiff i just take my scarf off at the end of my shower, or shower with no cap on with my hair clipped up, and just let the steam fluff my hair. Braids look gorgeous but they take SO LONG to take down. If i did them they would be in my head like 2 months.
😂i definitely leave them in for 2 months because you’re right it took me 2 days to take them down. I’m going to use shea butter on my twists next time I do them. I usually just stick to a twisting cream.
@@stasiamichelle99 WOW!!! 😲 is it really worth it? And how often do you redo them? cuz I'm thinking about trying mini braids in the next 2 weeks I've been doing mini twist every 4 weeks.
Beautiful. I used to do mini braids for me but I cut all my hair off BecUse of alopecia. I’m gonna do mini braids for my daughter next month❤ she has a lot of hair like you. Pray for my wrists and fingers😂
Hair is mad cute! Question how long do you leave them in? Do you get them wet (swimming) and if so is it harder to take them out? How do you take them out like your method?
Thank you! I leave them in for about 1-2 months depending on how much they grow out. When I go swimming I just braid the braids to keep them out my face and wash like regular with clarifying shampoo or a shampoo that removes chlorine. Getting the wet does not make them hard to come out. I use a rat tail comb, water, and conditioner to take them out.
This is beautiful and you are talented. I am praying that my hair reaches your length so I can get this style and stop adding braid extensions. I love your gorgeous hair!🩷

No, I usually just where them once or twice a year mainly during winter and summer. They do take a long time to do. I just have to be in the mood to braid my hair.
Girl you got hell a patience for all that, and it looks nice. I pay african braiding shot $150 every 4 months for this style.
This is exactly what I’m about to do. I just don’t have the time with 3 kids 5 and under.
@@Crystal-zi9qyDo your mini braids when they are sleeping that way you can have time for you & do alittle bit at a time ❤❤ good luck 🍀
My sister your hair is gorgeous, don't let this routine go ,it will take you to hip lenth❤

The time it takes to do them is worth it honestly!
Do you use grease? I don't have to moisturize 2-3 weeks

I remember watching your mini braids video a couple years ago, and oh my goodness your hair has grown so much!
Your hair is absolutely GORGEOUS!! Looks like you had them professionally installed 😍

Love your Braids. I think am going to get me some now. I usually do Mini Twists but I'm going to try Braids now.

Love these how long they usually stay in your hair for?
2-3 months or until I want a new style
BEAUTIFUL 💕
Thank you!!
Your hair is very pretty. Did you wear mini braids for 3 years to grow your hair?

Great job thumbs up
Sooooooo cute
How long did it take you to braid your hair?
2 days🫣
Wow, 2 days.... it looks so good! I find it annoying how mini twists don't last longer than a month. I'm leaning towards this journey.
How do you take them down? I got mini braids, bigger than those and I’m dreading the takedown already😭
And how long do you keep them in for?
It probably will take a couple of hours
@@tehillahtheavocado about 2-3 months
@@stasiamichelle99 thank youuu! I’ll try your size one day🥰❤️
How do you maintain these? I really really like the way these look and I did these once but my hair began dreading... advice please.
Blowout doesn't loc up easily. Do it on a blow out hair and don't spray water on your hair often
@@ameenahshebe2717 when I did this, I did blow out my hair, but I have to wet my hair frequently for religious reasons.
@@DaebakSimmer for ghusl or ablution? Anyway. Maybe it just your hair type. It usually only happens to me when i do twist.
@@ameenahshebe2717 for ghusl, i had twists though. i was thinking to maybe braid the roots first then twist.
@Daebak Simmer i always braid the roots first, but the hair itself starts to dread up everywhere else, but the roots.
Gorgeous huh❤❤
These look so nice but I just can’t do it. Putting them in seems simple, taking the out seems like a nightmare, 😩
putting them in and taking them out takes about them same amount of time.
