People learn in different ways, and presentation can very much affect that. The way you demonstrate something might just be what makes it click for someone. As someone else said, your voice is pleasant and relaxing. There are several resin artists you frequently mention that I do not watch. While I wold love to see the things they make, their is something about the timbre of their voice, the way they speak, or some other factor I can't quantify that puts me off. A beginner basics series from you just might be what some folks need. Some of the rest of us might do well with a reminder, too.

Lovely colors. I also agree that some of their color names don't describe their colors well. Their violet, to me, looks like a nice purple. Their yellow looks like a pale or light orange, and the top right is more rose red. I would very much appreciate more beginners' tips. I have seen some before, but like you said, new products, new tricks or hacks. Your voice is pleasant and relaxing. You might help me be less afraid to try the epoxy AB resin as opposed to UV resin that I have only done. I'm getting pretty good at it, though 😊. Many thanks for sharing another great video. @miniscenesgb I'm working with UV resin, but it happens with epoxy as well, a lot. Bubbles. I watch an Asian lady work with UV, making beautiful jewelry. I've tried her trick using a thin paint brush to get the bubbles out, but it doesn't work all the time. I usually have to spray with 99% isopropyl alcohol, but I'd prefer not to use it since, like you said, it dulls the molds if used too much or too often. What happens to me sometimes is I've gotten rid of all the bubbles, but some reappear during curing. Thanks for answering 🙂
I think you mean Tea and Art. She's amazing ) Have you tried a long necked lighter, just skimming just above the surface of the resin briefly and carefully? I find that works well with UV as well as epoxy/ Maybe this is something I should make a video on

I love these dyes. I'm completely out of sapphire blue and sky blue.
They are fab. I was asked what the easiest way to colour resin was and to me this seemed a good start point for a beginner :)

I actually don’t know. I’ve not seen resin inks on sale in the uk so I’ve not used them . I use pigments, dyes and alcohol inks, so it’s a great question, in love to know too
@@miniscenesgb apparently octopus sell them and etsy. So if not those then what about dyes, alcohol inks, pigments etc, there seem to be so many different things to colour resin with lol xx
apparently, but I have never tried them. probably should but as I currently have over 300 bottles of stuff for colouring resin - i think I'll wait till I've used some up lol
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do a video showing how to properly remove gloves (esp if they are covered in resin) ive been doing resin for 5 years but very interested in what you might suggest ❤❤❤❤

Love the getting back to basics videos, we can all use a refresher… Quick question, I found the mask that you use on Amazon, but need to know which filters you use for resin, as they’re sold separately… And I totally agree, you do have a very relaxing voice, even my husband commented on it…. 😁

It's an american firm, with worldwide coverage, one of the biggest firms in the world so you should have no trouble getting hold of them :) Just make sure o pick one that says it's for vapours and chemicals

I can't remember if you've done it or discussed it before, but can liquid resin dyes like this be used to color uv resin or will that inhibit the curing? I haven't worked with epoxy resin, but have recently started doing some small uv resin projects. I want to start making some jewelry pieces & am particularly interested in trying to use the metallic dyes to color my uv.
Yes but you have to be careful how much you use so as not to stop the UV light passing through to cure it. so use as little as possible, work in very thin layers and cure from both sides and it can work :)
I've had a few folks ask me about the various ways to use alcohol inks, so that might be an idea for a video :)

Yes that's "Dragon Defenders". There's a pack with a couple of versions of it in my store now as people kept asking about it ;)

@@miniscenesgb I've not started my resin journey yet but trying to take in all the info before hand, (I need to learn how to make something containing hair... mum passed in may & want to make something for the siblings a memorial if you will)

You can put hair into any epoxy or UV resin so any of my resin makes videos would help with idea. I am sorry for your loss
You can usually buy 99% alcohol at the pharmacy counter in Canada
