There’s very few idol rappers who are actually respected in Korean hip hop scene. Many have left being an idol to just do hip hop. Bobby has stayed with his group members thru thick and thin. He’s not a leader because home boy is lazy 😂 and doesn’t like that type of responsibility but he would never stop putting his team first. He’s the type of guy who will hold you up when you’re about to give up. Bobby won an entire show by skills alone but he had to first endure ridicule, bullying, and harassment from Korean veteran rappers and hip hop lovers. He showed his energy, endurance and performance skills and although he was barely 18, a real teenager at the time he showed EVERYONE no one was going to touch him when performing. When asked who would win the show Mega Superstar TOP of legendary BIG BANG said “Bobby. (obviously) there’s no entertainer like him, he’s what people want to see” He catapulted himself to #1 on hip hop charts and his recent was a trio song called Full Dash with 2 other idols whom were crazy fans of him. He could of easily been the center as he wrote and produced the song but he sat in the back seat to allow the two young idols to get the freedom to rap whatever they desired. Bobby is so diverse as an artist. He's the only idol Kpop rapper to when Show Me The Money (SMTM3) which is a hardcore Korean rapping competition. They had the mindset that Kpop rappers or not real rappers. Bobby as a trainee at 19 won the competition (they should make a movie of it). Bobby is so talented. He just released two songs Cherry Blossom and Drowning. Both are so good, yet different. I truly understand why a lot of young Kpop idols aspiring to be rappers look up to him.
