HEADS UP!!!! Anthony. iKON is a self producing group. They do get help from other yg producers rarely from teddy but B.I aka Hanbin their leader is the main producer, composer and lyricist of their entire discography except that one song Gdragon gave them as a gift. He was such a precious pillar of iKON but he had to leave the group a year ago but that's another story, a painful one. For now, I'd prefer you focus on their music and I think you'll see what im talking about along the way. p.s. a little tmi they (iKON) even won record production of the year back in 2018. They are the first idol group to win that award under their name because its usually the entertainment that receive the award. Anthem is a trip...it made me excited for the Bobby/BI album that was shelved last year after the scandal happened. I will forever mourn for that album.
Non fans of iKON will always say they only have a strong rap line but if YG selects his artist he makes sure they are all-rounders. Bobby and B.I. even before debut contributes to the process of making their music. B.I , DK and Jay contributes with the choreography. Ju-ne(Main Vocal) and DK also started writing songs and they are great singers.
And also Bobby and B.I are one of the best rap duo out there after GD and TOP for me. Non fans of iKON will always say they only have a strong rap line but if YG selects his artist he makes sure they are all-rounders. Bobby and B.I. even before debut contributes to the process of making their music. B.I , DK and Jay contributes with the choreography. Ju-ne(Main Vocal) and DK also started writing songs and they are great singers.
