@@R7dman It's cool. It still makes me laugh cuz Gojo just flexed that on Uraume when he one-shot her and her blood couldn't even splatter on him cuz of his technique

That scene with Gojo hits like a truck after his fight with Sukuna: You watch as this man, this absolute god of sorcerery and the peak of humanity is about to do the hardest fight anyone would have to do. He's tense, more serious than ever before. The people he's lost, his best friend now a puppet, his most reliable comrade dead, his pseudo adopted son / star pupil now the vessel for his enemy, and the society he stood atop of now crumbles before him. The taste is one only he can do and he's all alone But in that moment, Yuji calls to him. And then the tension lifts. The same god was also an aloof, playful, and childish teacher to all these characters. He made an impact on them all, literally saving 2 of them, and it's clear everyone, including Maki who always chastised him, cares. And it becomes this beautifully tragic scene where a man dedicated to watching over this mish mash of children he taught is now surrounded by them, now as the closest people he has left for one last time before goikg up against the hardest challenge in his career.
The scene between Gojo and Yuji was probably my favorite part of the chapter. The way i interpreted was that since gojo was walking without his blindfold or glasses he had his limitless technique on, which anything that approaches the infinity slows down and prevents from reaching him. I feel like Yuji noticed how Gojo was already so serious and more than likely on edge, which is not really common for his character since he always tend to be goofy even in hard situations, so it was Yuji way of Brighten up the mood aswell as conveying to Gojo that he doesnt have to shoulder everything by himself and they are there to help him.

Before I start the video, I’ll say that the response to 222 is a result of growing fan concerns. TCG was always highly controversial- and a lot of people including myself thought that it was merely setup to the 2nd big arc. It was a ton of new characters and fights but not much meat- characters like Yuta, Ryu, Kashimo, Hakari, etc while cool didn’t get much in character writing. (And the characters that did get that focus seem to be unimportant in this final arc barring Maki). When you combine that with a lot of the community’s poor reaction to the soldier plot line, Nobara’s situation, characters that seem to exist just for plot like Angel or Yorozu I think it paints a better picture of what the community wanted. Personally, I think Shibuya probably happened one arc too early. It set unrealistic expectations for the rest of the story, and it feels weird that Gege seemingly wants to finish the story so quickly but will dedicate like five chapters to fights with very predictable or boring outcomes. Anyway, time to watch the video
I do share ur concern but I wont give into pessimism and believe that Gege won't murder his own baby as it is his creation. Gege has always played on subversion of tropes; unexpected deaths, OP hero from the start, No talk no jutsu etc. I think he will give closure to fans but thru a diff route like he did with Maki's full realisation and Panda's inner death of his siblings. Well, I see two possibilities for the remaining finger: it’s susceptible to kugisaki’s technique, and to be eaten by itadori. If it’s eaten, then the fight will be sukuna vs gojo, and sukuna 1 finger vs itadori on his inside. If he can land problems to the sukuna soul, then maybe they can free megumi. Another possibility is kugisaki using her technique on the remaining finger and thus make an opening for gojo. I have very mixed emotions on this chapter. On one hand, I love all the set up Gege is giving us, the looming questions, and the anticipation for Gojo vs Sukuna. On the other, fuller hand, I don't like how lightning fast the pacing is going, all the set up plot points for The Culling Games that seeming just get dropped, the missed opportunity to give us ANYTHING for Nobara and her condition especially with her being one of Gojo's students and Shoko being RIGHT FUCKING THERE, and lastly it feels like we're sprinting to the end. I know Gege wants to end the manga soon and draw that Idol Manga they've been dreaming of but at least a little bit more to chew on would be nice. Something a bit more filling than just a hard cut to 12/24 would have been nice. Either way, it's still more JJK and I'm happy with that but I'd give this chapter a soft 6 out of 10.
I am pretty sure as long as kenjaku Is present, none of the plot points in regards to the culling games or the star plasma vessels are going to be dropped.Even nobara with the finger missing and soul swapping thing has possibilities of coming back.He just has to execute it properly
@thushar2006 I know they have to just execute those points properly, but it just feels to me that they're all missed opportunities. ESPECIALLY in regards to Nobara who has been M.I.A for over 100 chapters, almost as long as Gojo was in the box, and we've gotten one mention of her by Itadori and Megumi and that was just Itadori fearing that Hana would replace her. Gege had a golden opportunity to give us anything about her condition or even a confirmation of her death with Shoko right there, but they didn't, and it's frustrating.
@@SuraimuWasTaken Tbh in cases such as these it's more or so the mangaka holding back a character for a dramatic reveal. The fact that we got the confirmation on almost all the deaths from shibuya till now aside from her does feel she is going to play a role aside from todo.Imo when it comes to major events and arcs in the story, gege is efficient at developing the characters and flowing the narrative.Shibuya is a prime example of this because many of the current story beats feel like the build up to shibuya. With the culling games being absolute set ups and this being the payoffs
@thushar2006 I have faith in Gege's abilities. Outside of Yuki, they've never failed to deliver tbh, so I'm just gonna keep waiting and huffing on my hopium that the next chapter will be the one. You've got a point, outside of Oda, Gege is the strongest mangaka in terms of writing in SJ so I have faith in them
Now that we've crossed that bridge, gege gave us nothing but a 1. Off-screen death 2. Over hyped character used as a exposition dump for Sukuna's ideology 3. A half clothed failed comedian fighting kenjaku
1: About the mummy, thanks for explaining what these mummies are exactly, I didn't know cause I don't much about Bhuddism. So this means Sukuna just chilled and prayed until he died, my man might be truly enlightened. 2: About the bodyswapping shenanigans, thinking about it more, I think Ino did that tbh. His technique is a seance technique as well, I think he upgraded it offscreen and he did that shit. 3: About Yuji saying Gojos technique is in the way, as Lee already said in the comments, I think Yuji literally just meant it was in the way PHYSICALLY, stopping Yuji from giving Gojo a pat on the back. Then Gojo told everyone to give it their best shot and they all tried slapping his back against his infinity. I really think that's all there is to that scene. Nothing more. 4: I feel SO BAD for Inumaki fans, he's my little brothers favorite character s.s Why do I feel bad? Well, most characters are getting setup to do something great. God damn IJICHI AND INO got hype on them now, even Kusakabe took Yujis body and bodies Yuji in martial arts casually, just calling it a warm up. Meanwhile the Inumaki scene is about him giving Yuta some tool, meaning Inumaki will most likely not do anything significant himself. That's why I was sad to learn about the bad translation as I thought Yuta putting Inumaki to work would've been much more hype, especially for the poor Inumaki fans. Feels good being a Choso fan and knowing Gege loves my boi and his pivotal role in the message of the story as the link between curses and humans. Otherwise I just agree with everything you said, we already talked about the chapter in DMs so I won't just repeat that convo lmao. Good stuff as always brother. I still stand by my theory about power in jjk being connected to how selfish they are, gojo is showing how little he is thinking about anything but his victory so he is being distant

You've got a point, outside of Oda, Gege is the strongest mangaka in terms of writing in SJ so I have faith in them
Now that we've crossed that bridge, gege gave us nothing but a
1. Off-screen death
2. Over hyped character used as a exposition dump for Sukuna's ideology
4: I feel SO BAD for Inumaki fans, he's my little brothers favorite character s.s
Why do I feel bad?
PS: Bro really said JJK falloff in the thumbnail xD
I know it was posed as a question and you clarified that you don't agree with this online sentiment, so I respect the clickbait lmao
At least not like some other content creators I shall not name that litearlly just change their opinion to please the crowd and then act like they never had the previous opinion 👀
I still stand by my theory about power in jjk being connected to how selfish they are, gojo is showing how little he is thinking about anything but his victory so he is being distant
It's not a theory
It's literally stated by uro, sukuna and katana man
💀
So it's not "my theory" lmao
Let the Man Cook
idk how to put it well into words but this chapter was very very weak
I mean, George must have written these recent chapters to have a break-neck pace for a reason other than to rush it, no?
I like your videos a lot. But, this clickbait is too much. I alr kno this chapter nae this volume is top 5 of all time for me. On principle I'm not clicking this, unless you're actually giving me p[oint] e[xplain] e[vidence] that this chapter was a low. Nd I mean this out of love for the anituber scene of which I am a part of
I’m not clickbaiting, this chapter is very controversial. Just take a look at the comments, a lot of people dislike the quick pacing and have expressed concerns that Gege may fumble this final stretch of the manga, I’m just sharing my thoughts on that line of thought.
@@R7dman I see what you mean. Some people will come to critique the manga too quickly in my humble opinion and honestly with how a good majority of them end I can understand. I'm not reading too deep into this chapter (even though I've read it about 8 times already) until there's more substance though.
I am a follower in the 'let him cook' style. And based on aesthetic I seriously loved this chapter despite being a Toji fanboy. Its probably cause Gojo stole his drip.
Anywho, I'll watch the video before commenting next time ty for your response I was in a whole different mood earlier thanks to exam season so my bad if I came off as abrasive. Keep being awesome
Should I start reading JJK?
Also I am going I have no idea how to read the manga I get confused on like which panel read to first…
manga is read right to left
@@yoruichi_feet_lover thanks
Manga normally has a little diagram at the back showing what order to read the panels in
Also idk about you but I find marvel comics and stuff hella confusing and idk what order they're supposed to be in
6:29 i dont believe they are talking about the last jujutsu sorcerers of their generation considering mei mei and utahime are still there
When chapter 222 was leaked everyone was mad but when they see the official translation they go crazy because of Yuji's new power up.🤦
Jujutsu Midsen
Bro, just say you can't read and understand properly. If you can't understand a story property it doesn't mean it's mid.
@@Ljay_out Bro you literally have L in your name. Keep your L tier comments to yourself.

@@heroricspiritfreinen38 oh look another angry guy because of some random internet dudes arguing. ;( L
We are placed in the same position as the JJk world and Sukuna-Kenjaku. Mei's gambling would also not make since if we have seen how powerful they have become to the point that we know how they will defeat Sukuna and Kenjaku. Guys who criticized Gege are just sad that the series is now ending. They simply want to extend it and I am with them in that aspect
I still think inumaki whole quirk is dumb
Bruh i got frustated by the fast pacing / skipped parts in jjk. Its too interesting to be skipped
Fans: gojo is gonna rampage, or hes gonna be soooo shocked when he gets out!! Something about him is gonna be CRAZY!!!
gojo: gets out of the prison realm and doesn't give much reaction treats it like its a Tuesday
Fans: no! No! This makes absolute sense! I must defend gege's writing with my life!!!
Lmao. Reminds me of the one piece community
This chapter was not like that lol.People infact were overreacting and going on rants on how the series has ruined everything that came before and getting disappointed on a conclusion that hasn't happened yet over untranslated leaks.Even though the chapter after the translations were a lot more positive people were still criticising that aspect
Are you just making up people to be mad at?
This chapter has been heavily controversial, you'd have to be blind to think that the Gojo part is being received well.
You are just making up people so you can be "above" them by denouncing them. That and the fact that this chapter is a time skip so the second half is a literal non sequitur and has no relation to what the fans wanted from 221
@@Alex-bH1 are you replying to me brother
@Thushar200 No, sorry I replied to the OP but youtube doesn't tag you when you reply to the original comment
I agree with you
Another don't criticise and let gege cook.
Loool Y'all been saying this since the tsumiki fumble.😂😂😂😭.
hmm this didn't age well
