He definitely doesn’t. He’s just above everyone else. Since Gojo’s been gone for so long & Sukuna doesn’t set his sights on him, it could trick people into believing he’s there equal. The fact that Kenjaku was sweating after Gojo said one threat, proves that. Also the fact he had to seal him to begin with to enact his plan. Once Sukuna showed up, he wasn’t worried anymore lol.
When Uraume got infront of Sukuna and tried to go near at Gojo. That's when u know sukuna no longer has ur protection. You can see how Kenjaku went from Sukunas back to show a sign of protection.

to be honest it's clear why both kenjaku and yuta aren't on sukuna and gojo's level, it's stated by yuta that even though he has a higher cursed energy reserve than gojo, gojo's cursed energy manipulation is so masterfull that the energy loss of spamming powerful attacks is practically zero, it's also implied that he uses reverse curse technique, which could mean he can regenerate lost limbs at zero loss too, which explains geges statement of gojo being unkillable, so even if you got lucky to bypass infinity he would just regenerate for free, it's like you're fighting deadpool.
meanwhile sukuna displays similar feats, with masterfull cursed energy manipulation he barely shows any fatigue in any fights, which could mean he also gets zero energy loss when spamming overpowered attacks, this allows him to have such high output on dismantle and cleave (and the newly aquired ten shadow sukuna version summons), allowing him to basically blitz ryu with no problems, here you see that even if ryu has the "highest recorded cursed energy output in history" he would still lose to gojo and sukuna simply because he'd still need to charge his energy and telegraph his attack first, he can't spam overpowered attacks at the blink of an eye the way sukuna and gojo do, and he probably wouldn't be able to do so all day long either.
sukuna, like gojo, is also quite unkillable, we see that multiple times when he regenerates his limbs left and right, dude "accidentaly" healed yuji's left hand at two fingers (out of twenty), at three fingers he removed his heart and proceeded to slap megumi around and destroy buildings without any trouble, if this means anything, it means that currently at 15 fingers, even if you were to destroy his body but his head is still there, the head would just survive like jogo did after fighting gojo, which would also mean you're fighting deadpool.
to put it simply, both gojo and sukuna are just so good at jujutsu in a way no other character has yet managed to match, kenjaku sure seems like he's trying since he seems to know all the laws of jujutsu but he just doesn't go at the same scale that gojo and sukuna do.
his physical body and reaction time is slower, his regen is slower, his hair wack , his gimmicks wack, the way that he schemes wack, the way that he lets others do most of the fighting for him wack

@@oreki8707 might be true, but i interpret that this means on pure physical terms, so we're not even touching the cursed energy reinforcement of these physical bodies, which sukuna is superior at as stated, remember yuta said he's actually physically weak, but he keeps reinforcing his body with cursed energy, which allowed him to easily defeat yuji.
Now yuji might not have been trying to fight at the time but i think we can all agree that yuta still fights on the same level as maki and yuji.
Now imagine sukuna, who is already a physical beast, reinforcing his body with his monstrous near infinite cursed energy, i think this allowed him to physically be on par with both yuji and maki jumping him, and since we can assume maki is "physically" stronger than kenjaku, we can assume sukuna would definitely overwhelm kenjaku in a hand to hand fight.

Kenjaku is in between the OP sorcerers we have seen (Yuta, Yuki, Maki) and the Gods of Jujutsu (Gojo and Sukuna). He is powerful enough to compete and dominate the first, but relies on cunning and plans to deal with the second.
What does he have that would kill Maki?

It seems that Gojo is really the gentle powerful type. Even Yuta has a more ominous aura compared to Gojo (at least according to Yuji and Choso).
Yeah. But it isn’t Kenjacku you have to worry about, it’s his plan. I don’t think this comes down to Sukuna and Gogo. Maybe come down to Gogo and Sukuna vs Kenjackus special curse. Gogo and Sukuna might have to end up working together to deal with this thing. Sorry but Sukuna isn’t end game, it’s Kenjackus creation.
Thing is, nobody thus far is as powerful as Gojo. If he were to fight 15 finger Sukuna and Kenjaku right after he got unsealed, he most likely would have won easily. 20 finger Sukuna should be relative. The thing with Kenjaku is that Geto's body is really strong, probably top 5 in the verse in terms of strength currently. However, what makes Kenjaku dangerous isn't Geto's formidable strength and cursed technique. It's moreso his intellect, planning, and the methods he uses. Kenjaku is the most unknown, mysterious, unpredictable character in the story, even more than Sukuna himself. 15 finger Sukuna and Gojo would both wipe the floor with him straight up. Kenjaku knew that he stood zero chance against him, so he decided to create an entire plan just to remove Gojo from the playing field, so he could actually do anything. Maybe with the month of planning time he has before December 24th, he could find another way to stop Gojo. I wouldn't put it past him. I already know Sukuna is going to get the remaining 5 fingers in that timespan.

Kenjaku is stronger than everybody else besides Satoru and Ryomen. It would take at least Yuta and Hakari jumping him. All of Kenjaku techniques are Eos so he can definitely take on multiple opponents at once.

@@MindlessMenace neither ryu or uro are stated to be special grade or show special grade feats plus it was a free for all. Yuta literally had nothing to do with uro being taken out. Kurorushi came in and took her arm off after the domains then ryu blasted her ass.
How is this in anyway comparable to fighting yuki (who can literally one shot anyone in the verse) and choso, who would be even more effective against yuta since his blood is poisonous enough to put down even uruame and naoya in one shot, WHILE in tengens barrier allowing them to change up the terrain and swap combatants in and out and countering kenjakus domain? Not to mention that they were ACTUALLY JUMPING kenjaku, unlike yutas free for all. Antigrav being an asspull (it definitely was though) is irrelevant to the convo. Kenjaku has it so yuta has to deal with it.
Yuki “handicapped” herself to take advantage of kenjakus CT being burnt out from the domain. Healing wouldn’t have let her do that.

As far as tiers in jjk go, you have your special grades , then you have the two honored ones
in my eyes jjk has these kind of transition tiers of strength, like semi grade 1. people like kenjaku, mahoraga, and toji with his arsenal fit in the transition tier(s) between regular special grades and gojo/sukuna level.

I never saw kenjaku as something that special since I feel that every sorcerer that could live as long as he did could at least reach his level when for instance sukuna or gojo did not need that much time to not only reach a similar level but go higher than kenjaku was able to reach.... but in an other way it could be some play on the concept of hard work against natural talent but it's just a random though I just had while watching the video

The more skilled the sorcerer, the stronger maharoga is. E.g., sukuna+maharaga>>>>>>> megumi+ maharaga. That’s why I believe megumi+ maharaga wouldn’t beat a Gojo level (limitless plus six eyes) character as stated because (as stated above) because Megumi isn’t that skilled RN, but sukuna+maharaga could. Plus, it is stated in the early chapters that sukuna fingers get stronger every day, plus it’s sukuna with megumis body.

Kenjaku not belonging suits the motif with trios in the series. Two really strong characters, one less strong:
Geto and gojo, then shoko
Megumi and Yuji, then Nobara
Goio and Sukuna, then Kenjaku
There are special grade sorcerers and then there is the one SPECIAL grade sorcerer.
Kenjaku is all brains.... he's still a 🐐 coz he's the one who made this whole thing happen in the first place

Throughout JJK, there have been many statements that Special grades aren't always equally power. Thus, their feats of defeating one another aren't equal.
There is a lot of variation and spread within "special grade". But the sorcerers seem to cluster in these groupings:
Lower tier --> Ryu Ishigori, Urame, Uro
Mid tier --> Yuki, Maki, Harakiri
Upper Tier --> Kenjaku, Yuta, Kashimo (when using CT)
Strongest --> Sukuna, Gojo
How come Hakari isn't grouped with Kashimo, we're also waiting to see "Rainbow Doors" (777).
Yuki, Maki are both stronger than Hakari and Kashimo, they're more on the lower tier

I feel that Kenjaku wants to absorb Sukuna. He'll let the two of them fight, and then he'll come in to absorb Sukuna, then proceeding to kill Gojo.
I would still put kenjaku as the 3rd strongest character in JJK right now.
Kenjaku is clearly not on their level and I’m surprised anyone would put him there.
But Kenjaku is comfortably the 3rd strongest and as dangerous as Sukuna and Gojo, not in a direct fight but through his ability to plan-out for different situations.
He is on their level as a general threat. He is weaker is terms of 1v1, but defining power as 1v1 fighting ability in a boxing ring is pretty stupid
We have Special Grade, Special Grade + and Enlighted one tier and simply put Gojo and Sukuna and the only ones on Enlightened one tiers
No one is on gojo and sukuna level
On one hand there really should be an even higher grade to put those guys into, but on the other, excluding them there's like 10 characters total on the level of Special Grade Sorcerers anyway, even being really generous.
Trying to make the top class threat level apparent off the bat was sort of refreshing compared to other series, but at this point every-other semi relevant character can take on a finger bearer. Gojo and Sukuna are more like forces of nature in comparison.
I think mahoraga weakness is deer shikigami because it emits positive cursed energy which disrupts any cursed technique and could kill any cursed spirit with its energy mahoraga maybe strong and can adapt to any technique but it can't survive a hit from positive cursed energy

I mean... the way it's all building is that Gojo loses to Sukuna but dramatically weakens him (but saving Megumi). Kenjaku becomes the Cursed Spirit controller of Sukuna and Mahoraga and faces off against Yuta (Yuta barely loses but buys time or creates a weakpoint).
Then some combo of Yuji, Nobara(totally alive with lots of vows), and Megumi beat Super Kenjaku.
I just can't wait to see how it all shakes out in detail.

What does seem kind of strange to me are some dialogues that occur throughout the manga hat make it seem that the difference between kenyaku and 20 fingers sukuna and gojo is not so high. First of all, yuta being able to defeat 15 sukuna fingers according to yuji, yuki being just as strong as yuta according to maki and at the same time affirming that kenjaku is superior (although not by much for me) to these two. Putting kengaku on a level similar to the 15-fingered sukuna who looked very confident to defeat gojo. We also have the phrase that was made in chapter 220, of the niche that makes simple domains, which said that defeating kenjaku and sukuna was a task comparable to defeating satoru gojo, now, I don't know if he was referring to each one individually or to the two at a time, since I have seen translations that did not specify if it was done individually and others that do.

That’s not really how things work. A Hippo, A Crocodile, and a Lion are all predators but can come into conflict with each other. Kenjaku is the crocodile in this situation

To be fair, he doesn't need to be on their level of power to get what he wants. At the end of the day, Kenjaku has literally been running the entire series. His big brain power and knowledge of jujutsu puts him far above any other character besides these two.

Kenjakus hype comes from the fact that he’s a sorcerer who’s been alive for millienia and this has given him time the experience to basically know how to counter every situation this is even shown in his fight against Yuki where he’s better at using Getos technique than Geto himself

And if he had rct then it would affect the plot of him dying although it’s obvious Geto can use rct since gege stated kenjaku got that by using Geto’s technique to the max. It can be presumed that geto had short visions…he’s a good planner but his plan of warring with jujutsu society wasn’t rlly to kill anyone, it was to kill all humans to get rid of curses while kenjaku on the other hand doesn’t care if it’s a sorcerer he would kill them. So while Geto only focuses on absorbing curses he doesn’t rlly figure out his potential to the max… kinda sad

Powerful =/= dangerous.
The fact that kenjaku succesfully sealed gojo, allied with sukuna, and pretty much untouchable (not gojo's infinity untouchable, but they simply never found him on their term) makes him much more terrifying than sukuna. Reminder that superman's greatest nemesis of all time is not zod, it's lex luthor.
It actually made gojo look hilariously incompetent since from the beginning, kenjaku is moving his whole agenda but gojo can't do shit to stop him.

Kenjaku seems like the alchemist of this anime, basically the mad scientist that outwits and pushes the boundaries of what is known about cursed energy, I like that he isn’t insanely strong like Gojo because I feel like it would actually take away from his character
Since the Gojo vs Sukuna fight has been postponed, we need a Yuta vs Gojo sparring match just to gauge how much Yuta compares to Gojo and maybe understand the difference in strength of special grades. It would be even better if Yuji can learn reverse cursed technique in time.
Kenjaku might be weaker when it comes to fighting but he is the final boss. The whole anime started because of him, he sealed Gojo, he started Shibuya arc and culling game arc. He isn't on level of Gojo and Sukuna, he's above.
toji kind of set everything into motion by awakening gojo and breaking geto. Though he won't be the final boss, I'm constantly thinking about the role he plays in the story, it's very unique. Tengen even says Toji is the one who broke everyone free of their destinies
Tbh the whole anime started because of Toji because otherwise gojo would’ve died from a way stronger curse without being awakened and geto would never go mad thus never even giving kenjaku a body

To be fair though, Yuji held back even when she died, if she did released all her curse energy and actually released a black hole, the world would have went down with her. That wasn’t a black hole, if a black hole, ever, is able to be seen by human eyes, everything is already over since it’s so dense. Even in the end she held back so that’s a shame.
My theory about the fight is that Sukuna will somehow use the power of Mahoraga to adapt while fighting against Gojo , Gojo will win but with the Mahoraga adapted to his technics and in Sukuna with his old body he will overcome Gojo and force Itadori to defeat him
Yuji 1 v 1ing Sukuna and winning would be the most boring, generic outcome. There's no way Yuji is beating someone that can beat Gojo either.

I think he would end Kenjaku and would be too emotional and would fight for Geto's respect and pride and for his students and this would mean he isn't fighting selfishly and would lose and Sukuna would also say the same thing like "you weren't selfish enough "
But then Gojo somehow passes down his cursed energy to either Yuta or Yuji and maybe that moment awakens Megumi
Yuta fights all the curses released from Kenjaku and nearly gets overwhelmed when others intervene like an Avengers moment
And Yuji fights Sukuna powered up by his brothers and we all know that Negative feels would create automatically more cursed energy
and then Yuji gets the biggest boost and defeats Sukuna while nearly dying and Yuta comes and heals him up

It was very clear he wasn't on their tier. After seeing kenjaku beating yuki who didn't even expand her domain just because tengen got greedy wanting a easier fight, to a extreme diff, and 15 fingers(if im keeping track correctly) sukuna one shotting ishigori. ishigori, someone who would probably take yuta to mid or high diff on his own, only taking him to extreme diff due to the other factors in that sendai fight. but yuta and yuki is implied to be relative in strength by maki. 15 finger sukuna one shots ishigori, a character who can hold characters on yuta, yuki level to mid/high diff, but kenjaku beats yuki by a hair only.
You are right. I used to put him on that level mainly because of his barrierless domain. But you are right, kenjaku struggled against yuki and could have died if he didn't clutch. He is not in a tier of his own

This was an awesome video, but I don't understand why everyone seems to misquote Gojo. He said, "It MIGHT be a BIT tough," not "It would be close." It's a low level of difficulty that he's insinuating. Now, that might not be true, of course. Other than that, I like your breakdown and analysis. Recency bias / Gojo and Sukuna not getting high tier fights makes it easy for people to think he'd be able to tussle with these two. Subbed.

Having a barrier less domain doesnt mean there wont be a tug of war. Even Kenjaku said Tsukumo wouldve had a chance had she lay out her own domain for a tug of war

You don't need to be completely strong to be on their level. Intelligence is a big factor in jjk, hence why we had toji. He may have died, but due to his planning he was nearly able to kill gojo. I think toji even admitted if he went in there without any planning then he would have died from not being able to counter gojo. Anyway my point is that he's on their level in his own unique way. I don't see gojo or sukuna getting impregnated for their plans!
Kenjaku surviving the black hole attack in the manga is pretty impressive even if the attack was nerfed

In the newest chapter, I think Gege proved it. When Gojo and Sukuna Was fighting equally in the sky, it may be an analogy of them being equal through strength, while Kenjaku is in the very bottom (Maybe signifying he is outright weaker), And for Uraume... Well.... They got clapped 😔
