I only noticed part-way through that the character you are helping is the Comte de Saint-Germain. (Real historical con-artist known as the Time-Travelling Alchemist) That's actually pretty funny and a good follow-up after your Potion Craft Alchemist Simulator playthrough.
Would love to see more of this, even tho it‘s a pretty simple game, I like the story and little things in this game. It‘s artstyle is also something really unique.
Watched live, loved it. This edited gameplay is missing a lot of the smaller things but still enjoyable. Really liked this one from the art to the music, and the gameplay looks fun as well. Definitely would like to see this again.
I tried the game after watching this video and it's pretty amazing. Very nice story telling and the tricks build on top of the previous ones and get more complex over time. Although principles get explained, at some point you actually need to practice to pull off tricks successfully since there is enough variation so that you can't just memorise a sequence of inputs, you actually have to count cards and figure out effective strategy yourself. I recommend it to everyone because it's very satisfying when you do the tricks correctly.
@@omegahaxors9-11 That seems complicated. I mean, you'd have to lure a mouse in with some cheese, and then manage to get it out with you unnoticed... and that's only to do that once?
Im loving every game you’ve been playing since you came back. Already enjoyed the games you were playing before but each new game has been hit after hit! Keep it going bro
This is an amazing looking game! The mix of Tyler's wit and quick learning is an amazing combo with how much information is being laid out is soooo good. I do wish the story wasn't glazed over but I know Tyler isn't much of a story-game enjoyer. I do really hope this is made into a series!
Yup! If you enjoyed the game, give the edited video a rewatch! I will decide whether or not to make this a series based off the reception to this video.
As an amateur card magician, I feel both outraged and enthusiastic at the same time, I loved it Also, it's interesting to note that, when controlling a card (or group of cards) to a certain position during an overhand shuffle, as seen at 13:18, you can actually count two extra cards, outgo the third, and then take a break *over* the outjogged card instead of below. The difference is small, but useful to know
I'm just 25 seconds into the game and wanna say two things. First of all, I just wanna take a second to appreciate how you don't waste time on an intro to the game. I watched a couple of videos from another youtuber who I like, but every single video has a 5-10 minute intro just talking about the game and trying to explain the very basics of it even though a minute of gameplay would make all that clear. So well done on getting to the point. The other thing I wanted to point out is that I just found it hilarious how she said "I don't give a tinker's damn". Here in Ireland, "tinker" is pretty much a derogatory term. I'm not complaining as I don't expect people outside of Ireland to know this, but it was just one of those "Woah, did they really just say that" moments.
The art style in this game is amazing! It's straight out of Expert at the Card Table or Royal Road to Card Magic, and the techniques are too. It's so cool.
One thing I like about this game: every character is named after real people. If you're intrested in the history of cheating, it could be worth it to google every single name
Day 709 of telling Tyler that he never finished his minecraft series and that he should finish it. Ah hell yeah, I loved this game when he played it on stream
I have never stopped a gameplay playlist at episode one to buy the game for myself, this game speaks to something in me which makes me have to have it. It's currently installing.
I watched this live and cause of how fun it was to watch I got the game, I just wish you put the chat on screen, it might have been confusing when you were just saying you forgor without the chat spamming it 17:28 and the nudity joke right after
Very nice game, and jujding from the 1/28 when you learned 3 card monte there is a lot of content too. Plus something about changing the world? This could be a great series
2:33-2:40 That is an actual historical quote. Brownie points to the person who correctly says who said the comeback.
Lol
There's like 3 different people who the comeback is attributed to my dude i don't want a quantum third of a brownie point

This game seems super interesting, although I'd prefer if you weren't skipping half the dialogues. I like a lot the ambiance the game has.
He played it on the livestream it seems. He must have edited out dalogue for the sake of the video.
he played it live and read al the dialogue then, but the vid would be 1 hour long if he left it in
Just watch the VoD 4Head

It's also based on Kubrick's Barry Lyndon, which in turn is also partly based on the Comte de Saint-German.
As someone who loves watching card tricks and cheats, this game is absolutely wonderful. Please, PLEASE, make this a series.
As in you cheat or you love watching cheats?
@@HorseEater I love watching cards, and I love watching the finesse that is cheating. All the sleight of hand is glorious.
