    People slept on Ace's A Breukelen Story produced by Marco Polo. The joints Breukelen with Smiff & Wesson and Get Shot are straight up classics. That video for Breukelen is probably the best tribute to Brooklyn video ever!

    “Guerrilla” filming, refers to low-budget and shoot and move filming tactics, with no permits or formal setups.
    It refers to unconventional warfare and comes from the Spanish word for war: guerra.

    I felt the same way about early hip-hop records. When you used to listening to the live jams on tape the records sounded corny

    It's okay Ace...we can forgive you for not knowing what a dope song was back then. Let's hear some of your early rhymes so we can see how much we like those.

    On _Its a Demo_ , G-Rap was biting LL Cool J's rhyme style from _Rock The Bells_ . Nobody ever mentions that though.

      Damn near everybody had that same cadence during that period. It wasn't exclusive to L

    • @AF-Twice
      @AF-Twice 8 місяців тому

      @@BoldenFMA Incorrect. Slick Rick, LL Cool J, KRS, Rakim, Kane, Melle Mell, Grandmaster Caz, Ice Cube, etc., all had very different styles. Kool G-Rap had his own style too, but he definitely bit LL's flow, delivery, cadence, and style on that particular track.
