Trevor I got to tell you something mate.... there is a "China town" in a lot of cities. Singapore has a street called China town, Kuala Lumpur has a China town, every city in Australia has a China town. China town is just a street or a few consecutive streets where you get a lot of Chinese food, Asian curios, clothes, cheap stuff made in China like fans, massages, battery operated fans, hats with extra large rims, mobile phone stuff, fake xx watches, fake xx bags etc etc. The best part is China town is open 7 days a week till the wee hours of the morning!!! It is a big tourist attraction in any city. Everyone loves China Town.
Kuala lumpur doesnt have chinatown. That area was the oldest commercial area of kuala lumpur and happened to be congregated by chinese merchants. There are many places like this in malaysia and we dont called them chinatown. Funny is that singapore which has 70% chinese population still have chinatown. Ridiculous isnt?

While we laugh, let’s keep these realities on mind.
@Esphaeras Praestans Kantstraße in Berlin is one single street and not even for its whole length. You'd never think you're in China when you find yourself there. I used to love Trevor's 'outside looking in' style humour, making fun observations like an innocent bystander. After all these years immersed in the US "culture" he has taken on all their self centred biases, looking at situations through the lense of the liberal mainstream media narratives against anything that is deemed not western or american. It would be great for Trevor to go spend more time in his home country and reconnect with ordinary people struggling from real world problems who has zero interest in his views on geo politics and how other countries and cultures conduct their business.

I currently live in Montreal and tbh, the China town is so small and boring here compared to the ones in other big cities. It's only like few blocks and the main street where all the restaurants are is only 1 avenue. ONE! That's it! It's the slowest invasion in history and Chinese here seems fully adapted to Canadian sssssssssssllllllllllllllllllloooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwww pace living style. xD.
@vivatan13 that would be lovely. I'm currently reading Louise Penny's Gamache series - the Canadian countryside and luxurious food. Want to move there now. 😍
Nah, quite distasteful - long elaborated joke that doesn't land. I am a real Trevor Noah fan and have always loved his clever observations and his genius disentangling of all kinds of societal/cultural phenomena, but this weird joke is really indeed out of tune.. and you could tell from the silence/ non-response of the audience that it didn't land and also his facial expression to quickly wrap the 'joke.' Nobody is perfect and will sometime miss a hit, that's fine. Trevor, do recharge and come back with wonderful smart, intelligent jokes!
May be before he was famous, he was seriously working hard to bring the best stuff, now he's become famous he's becoming easy going, not thinking hard, not researching hard!. Even in the daily show he needs to stop emulating Jon Stewart and instead continue to be himself like his early years. He needs to be calm, not hyper reactive, he needs calmness and compusure instead of talking loud like a clown, or fast like a sewing machine!
Disappointed. Trevor's comedy is usually intelligent and displays an impressive understanding of whatever topic he's talking about. This extremely superficial take on Chinatowns is at odds with that and what Chinatowns are actually about.
Also, he makes it sound like Montreal is the only city with a Chinatown, which is strange considering he lives in a city that has one of its own. Doesn't sound like he got to know Montreal very well.
His Comedy has become far to Americanised.. bring back the Clever, witty and insightful stuff Trevor! Silly voices and repetitions of the same joke might cut it in USA but the rest of us need more substance. Please go back to writing for educated, well traveled adults instead of those basic Christian rednecks
Yeah well in as much as i really enjoy and love Trevor's comedy, he's really dropping off the bar. He could be becoming more American like others are saying or whatever the case might be but generally he's nolonger as funny. Now he's just trying to keep up with his Fame.

I think Chinatown in Canada actually look like China, even Chinese media made news about how similar it looks to China, I think because some Canadian Chinatowns are more recent or something? Our Chinatown in Sydney Australia looks nothing like China. 😅 which is great🤔🙏🥹 also! Our signs have English names too👌
No, actually Chinatown in Montreal looks more like a Cantonese community in 1980s.
And? What is his point? Is he against it or what?
It's not for you
He's making a joke about it 😐
@@kryptiqhiphop oh really?
@@marcmiller3754 yessir, its pretty dope imo cause comedians joke concepts out there be generic as hell.
Fake woke
I know it was China since the last year
lol
I currently live in Montreal and tbh, the China town is so small and boring here compared to the ones in other big cities. It's only like few blocks and the main street where all the restaurants are is only 1 avenue. ONE! That's it! It's the slowest invasion in history and Chinese here seems fully adapted to Canadian sssssssssssllllllllllllllllllloooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwww pace living style. xD.
New Orleans in France
👍🏻
😂👏👏👏👍
What about the Chinatown in China
I want to visit Montreal now!!!
Make sure you visit Old Quebec City.
@vivatan13 that would be lovely. I'm currently reading Louise Penny's Gamache series - the Canadian countryside and luxurious food. Want to move there now. 😍
what was wrong with the universe travels and creating outlets in a city?
Nah, quite distasteful - long elaborated joke that doesn't land. I am a real Trevor Noah fan and have always loved his clever observations and his genius disentangling of all kinds of societal/cultural phenomena, but this weird joke is really indeed out of tune.. and you could tell from the silence/ non-response of the audience that it didn't land and also his facial expression to quickly wrap the 'joke.'
Nobody is perfect and will sometime miss a hit, that's fine. Trevor, do recharge and come back with wonderful smart, intelligent jokes!
trevor needs to please his white masters, thats why he's so awful with his china-bashing
He's actually not as funny as he was. Maybe he lost his edge after being a host 🤷♀️ People were hardly laughing and it's understandable.
Hmm it seems they are many african comedians here
Dull. Never thought Trevor was funny and I'm from S.A.🇿🇦 Amateurs run circles around him at the rate he's going.
Drink some water it’ll dilute the salt
I feel like you were on the precipe of making a good point, but then it fell kind of flat.
No offence but... is American a success example about England in the Indian country?
trevor in your country- a piece of third world in your country. we all know what i mean, dont we?
It's Mandarin not Chinese
Trevor Noah, Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, Kevin Hart.
It's ironic how they allow China Town in America but destroyed Black Wallstreet. Anyone else thinking this?
The biggest and "expanding" restaurant no1 isn't McDonald's?
Eh this bit needs some work shopping lol
subliminal message about how u should feel about china.
Snob
Bad joke on chinatowns
.every western country has Chinatown
There's no Chinatown in Germany.
@@helgaioannidis9365 No Chinatown in Russia too. Bet you don’t know that.
It's sad and pathetic that his daily show is so out of tune. His Stand-up comedy shows are still good and enjoyable.
Ronnie Chieng can do it better
Yeah well in as much as i really enjoy and love Trevor's comedy, he's really dropping off the bar. He could be becoming more American like others are saying or whatever the case might be but generally he's nolonger as funny. Now he's just trying to keep up with his Fame.
indeed. i used to be really fond of him. but i haven't seen his show for a long time until today.
