He's starting to do that so he could record POV vids instead of the camera facing him while he's driving. So it makes sense because wants to test the power so he doesn't open his mail to a speeding ticket.
@16:20 I think you can preload maps onto the Tesla's infotainment system, Joe. You would get more of a basic navigational guide instead of live real time feeds.
@@RaitisRides I noticed that the battery is full when you shot the interior. Please let Infinity dealership know that for long-term stationary "storage", it's recommended that the max battery to be limited at 50-80% (definitely not 100%) and the vehicle to be plugged in (110V outlet will do fine). This is for the car's health and whoever buys it next will be happy. Thanks for the videos.
I noticed the navigation screen was not moving as you went down the car. It just kept showing the same satellite picture no matter where you went. Something not right there. I've never seen a Tesla screen glitch-out like that. Maybe it needs a reboot.
Model S is the elite in the Tesla lineup Though I'm not ready for EV yet I'm very impressed with this car maker, a real game changer in the auto world I just thought that Americans should be proud of Tesla Great review
3rd row of a Tesla model X has twice as much room as most sports cars back seats. It looks nicer than the Jaguar too and performs better. How many other cars have that performance and seat 7 comfortably
I had a Suburban. When one of my passengers got off without shutting the door properly, it was cardio time. Electronically controlled doors is not a gimmick on cars this size.
Also another great ev review ! You’re getting it👍🏼😊. The Model X P90D has issues with acceleration shudder , make sure it is addressed while under warranty as Tesla recently released a permanent fix for this pervasive issue plaguing them since 2015. The New Raven adaptive suspension retune on 2019’s is an amazing improvement on ride quality, and Performance Ludicrous is now included free . 0-60 2.6 seconds , only $104,000 🧐vs a 2018 which was $144,000 for same model and Performance. That’s a clean nice Red they have there , it is priced fair, and just find out about getting an extended warranty on it!
Nice balanced review. As a kid growing up in Chicago I remember riding on electric buses so I don't think that electric vehicles are a 21st century idea. The real breakthrough will be with battery technology to extend range and reduce charging time. Once that happens and the price becomes more affordable for these vehicles we'll see more of them on the road.
Joe a small piece of advice if you want to keep on the edge. Bring EVs/PHEVs/hybrids as much as you can. That is the way things are moving... and fast. Forget about big black stuff burners!!! This is a very a good example.
Ignorant comment. It’s possibly still under bumper to bumper warranty. It’s batteries and motors are def still under warranty. It’s not a money pit and was not one for the owner and there is no data to back up that foolish comment. It is literally one of the cheapest cars to own. No gas. No oil changes. No brake pads needed(maybe after 200-300k miles) Electricity is cheaper than gas. First 2 years you add washer fluid..maybe.. Also there are way less moving parts that can fail. It’s not a money pit. That’s an ignorant and plain stupid comment that is NOT based on real world statistics. Oh and it also doesn’t emit carcinogenic poison gas.

I think all grocery getters like Sedans, vans, Crossovers, etc. should be electric only in the future. But for performance vehicles I’d hate to see combustion engines stop production:(
When they can increase the range and charging speeds a bit more they will start to overtake ICE engines. Other than the lack of an exhaust note, they are really superior to ICE vehicles as far as performance goes.
They are only good if you don't plan a road trip basically. I prefer to drive rather than fly, I grew up with my dad driving us across the country several times in his old vw's. I loved it, being able to see the country is great. I enjoy driving my son wherever we go. My wife flew to Florida while her and I drove from Pittsburgh PA this summer. We even chose to sleep in the car over a motel. We all recently took about an 850 mile trip through Ohio and West Virginia. Those are trips that would take twice as long in an electric car. They will never be a road trip vehicle.
@don198769 Until you drive this amazing vehicle you can’t even imagine how much fun it is to drive cross country. I’ve driven my P90D several times through increment weather in the winter and blistering summers from Portland, Or to California, even as far south as San Diego and east to Tucson, Az without spending a single penny for energy. The Tesla supercharging network is unbeatable and is constantly being improved to rely on solar energy as well as reducing charging time. The braking system can be computer controlled to save brake pad usage because it has software that can be used to automatically slow down the vehicle to regenerate the battery, extending range. The X can be configured so that the middle row can fold down to fit an air mattress comfortably to accommodate overnight sleeping. The display even has a lit fireplace video for ambiance as well as video games to play while parked. Every time Tesla improves the software that comes with the car, it is updated without ever going to the service center. What I love most about my Tesla on these cross country trips is the spectacular view from the inside looking at the sky, landscape, oceans with my music blasting and if I drive through foul smelling (cattle stockyards - standstill traffic) areas, I turn on my biohazard system without any of the stench assaulting my nose or irritating my lungs and lingering in my car. My favorite view was watching the sunset off the California coast looking out the window while I could see from my glass roof a waterfall coming down from the coastal mountain range. Breathtaking!
