this is absolutely the best knitting vid around. It made learning so easy! I wish I’d found this ages ago so I wouldn’t have continually stopped and started.
Could you do this all around the loom, just on the 2 lines (missing the very end corner ones), or just on the one like you showed us? Amazing video btw very easy to follow!!
Do you mean that, can you skip the corner stitches for the entire project? Then yes you can. Me and my mom made quite a few scarves with this pattern and it works fine. Thank you for watching, I'm glad that it helps
Thanks a lot, I had forgotten how to finish it and your video was a life saver. Everything I find out that is in "portuguese", it's made in Brazil and they ONLY post videos with crossed stitches. It was making me seriously nervous!

If you know how to crochet then you may be able to fix it. If I ever want to fix loose knitted products I usually crochet in between the gaps or make crochet flower and stitch them on top of the product. I'm sorry your product didn't turn out the way you wanted, try a more thicker yarn next time, thinner yarns doesn't work very well in looms. Or you can use this product in some other way. What were you making? maybe I can give you some ideas.
@craftidiseYT thank you for reply me! I tried knitting and crocheting but my stitches were uneven so the results were pretty bad, i switched to using a loom to make a scarf as you instructed but the results were all very loose, i tried doubling the yarn and crocheting 2 loops at a time but it was still very loose 🫠🫠
Can you use this stitch on a larger loom to make a blanket? I know in that case, you would go up the other side and just not connect the two ends, but I was just wondering if this would work for a blanket too.
Hey thanks for the video! I’m trying to make a blanket but for some reason no matter how loose I do the e’s and try to bring the bottom loop over the pegs my yarn gets really tight and I’m unable to bring it over. Do you know why this is happening or what I’m doing wrong. It seems like in the video it should be fairly easy to stretch over the top but mines not.
If you're wrapping the yarn loosely then it should work. But if it's not then maybe try a different yarn, bulky or chunky yarns are best for looms, maybe that'll help
@@craftidiseYT thank you! Yeah I was trying to use a finer yarn on it I kind of gave up and I’m just crocheting it by hand but thanks anyway! I’ll try again another time with chunkier yarn
@mizma4239 here this might help you. ua-cam.com/users/shortsnJDTExbWUco?si=TROfhE37YAk1cMQ5 I wish I could make a video myself but I received a couple of urgent orders and I'll take me until the end of January to finish. I didn't wanted to make you wait more than I already did. Hope it'll help. It's the most effective method to straighten out your project without needing to crochet or knit. PS: it's called steam blocking method. You can search it on UA-cam though in some videos they're touching the yarn directly with iron. I suggest you not do that, just hover the iron over the project.
You need to keep the tension steady. From what I can understand you are wrapping the yarn loosely on some places and tightly on other places. Hope that helps.
The loom is 9 inches long and the gap in between is 1 inch. The pattern you'll make with this will come out around 6 to 7 inches before blocking. Hope that helps
I've used the starter peg once and it changed the shape. It curled my pattern from the sides, so I stopped using it. You can try a sample and see if you feel comfortable with it.
@@michaelsangel73 you can easily make blankets with it. You can make patches and then sew them together or you can make a single piece blanket with the largest size loom

I've seen other videos where the loop up the whole loom before throwing stitches over
You can do it either way. It depends on how thick you want your pattern to be.
Thank you for the video and design😊

@lanphanhoang8719 try chunky yarn maybe that'll help
Love the instructions. Can I ask why you do one peg at a time? Is there a specific reason or just personal preference? Thank you
Thank you. No there is no specific reason. I just wanted to take it slow so the viewers can get a clear idea of the process.
Can you use this stitch on a larger loom to make a blanket? I know in that case, you would go up the other side and just not connect the two ends, but I was just wondering if this would work for a blanket too.
Yes it'll make a good blanket, you can either make it on a large loom or you can make small patches and sew them together to complete a blanket

@@aliciagee9775 you can try. I only made hats with circular looms so I'm not completely sure 😊

Why is the tention so tight on my yarn when using the streight loom? I can't get the botton thread up over the top of peg.
Try to wrap the yarn a little loosely, it'll make it easier
No you are fine looms are great once you get hang of it
22:00 doing a wide flat panel when done how do i get the curl out of it. It rolls up and sides curl in???
To rid of curls in knitting. Alternate the knit and purl stitch . And then block it
Thanks
I have question, why is my scarf curling up fro the sides and edges???
Mine was curling too. You need to make a border around the sides and edges by knitting or crochet any way you prefer, then block it
The sides of mine is curling. Could you do a video on how to correct this. I am done with the scarf. 😢
I usually use crochet to fix the sides but you can also use regular knitting needles and knit a couple rows.
Does this help or should I make a video?
I don't know how to crochet. Lol so yes a video would help. I took it all apart. Everything I try it curls.

Approx how many yards of yarn do you need for this scarf? Thanks!
400 to 600 yards approx for an average scarf but it can vary depending on the thickness of the yarn. You can have this numbers as a general guide

It's best if you use thick yarn to make your work look nice and fluffy. 4 ply or thicker
