Subtitles don't do her justice. That being said, I don't think I've seen a comedian with a bigger like to dislike ratio on Conan! She definitely deserves it. I was dying when I watched her Netflix special.

Pretty funny comedian. Love these videos. It would be cool if Conan made this an annual thing. I'd have loved to been there for it. But the traffic, holy $hit lol. People think LA and NYC is bad, Mexico City is the real deal. Only been there once but it was a fantastic trip. Great, ridiculously good food and very nice people. Love you Mexico!

A lot got lost in translation. One example "Make a bitchy face" wtf is that. She said "emputate" which means get pissed or get angry. Because of the context "make a bitchy face" DOES make sense but there was a more correct translation. I know this happens all the time but just wanted to point it out lol. Have a nice day.

I just have to say it, 1.5k comments and rarely a bad one for a woman comedian. I love conan fans. And I love her set too.
Sofia seemed nervous and some jokes were lost in translation. Plus she bases a lot of her humor in the way she talks, which can't be read.
Agreed. So much of the humor from stand up (any comedian) comes from the voice, inflections, etc in how the humor is delivered. It rarely works in subtitles unfortunately. I've always found it awkward to watch stand up with subtitles every time I've tried it.
