In addition, you will need the verado fittings kit (maybe be under simrad or navico). To know which one I need to know: How many engines do you have, and what is the hp?
I have a Simrad auto pilot and SS evil three attached to an octopus auto pilot at high speed. Everything works fine at low speed I can set for north within two minutes. It automatically heads west and I don’t know why.
Sounds like it might be your compass or pilot computer, maybe. I don't think it's your pump. Could be as simple as a software update and being recalibrated or something else more complex. I had an issue once and all I had to do was update the compass. I would recommend giving simrad a call on Monday. Normally, autopilots don't have issues, so it might just be a simple fix. Yes, its super simple, you just make a route and have different waypoints on it. Or you can just do a single waypoint.
Would you happen to know which Simrad autopilot kit is suitable to control the 2023 Mercury Verado V10 outboard? Thank you in advance.
