I PRIDE myself on my defense, I’d rather have 5 steals and a few blocks while icing my man than 20 points any day of the week and im a KG/JJ Reddick type of slap the floor and come at me bro as legit as just about any amateur (as in not pro) baller you’re gonna find but I will right here and now, openly and publicly say if I saw him... that... coming at me with a head of steam, I’m not going for the block, the charge or a cheap foul. I don’t ever go for the latter anyways but I just wanted to say it to be specific. In that case, that’s where I just go back down, run off a screen or hit the 15 footer turn around like it’s a FT and just cancel out those two points like they never happened instead of getting myself injured (not to mention likely to get dunked on based on the physics behind that mass and velocity coming at me & like I said, I don’t ever try to foul, I’m solely going for the ball/block) trying to be the hero of the day at the Rec Center and having a story to tell at the bar 20 years later that no one will believe anyways.
