I have a 2017 batch of La Nuit de L'homme and it lasts almost a whole night (5-6 hours). I think you need to understand that this specific fragrance is not meant to project like sauvage or the creeds. This is an intimate, subtle fragrance that girls sense when you hug or make out with them. And once they smell it, they want to smell more. Maybe it had bigger projection in earlier batches, but it does still work. If everyone thought it was garbage they would no longer talk about it, which is not the case. It is still unique. I am very satisfied with my bottle, because it performs exactly like I imagined. People need to stop bashing this fragrance. Don't wear it during the day or at gatherings and expect compliments. Only wear it when you expect to be close to someone and want to make a nice, subtle, pleasant, sexy impression. Like a date or maybe a party. Believe the hype with it, scent is 10/10, but is has a very specific use. Know that before you get it.

My girlfriend bought me dior homme edt about 10 years ago and I have to say the dior homme line is one of the best designers out there. Not to mention they perform all day on my skin and my clothes still smell of the stuff dispite them being at the bottom in the washing basket for days. A definite must for any guy wanting to add some class to their outfit.
I'm a huge fan of CH Men (the original red tie version) but never really warmed-up to CH Men Prive...and I have never received a compliment with this one. However, Allure Sport Eau Extreme is a hugely complimented fragrance that I love wearing and it appears to ladies of all ages. For example, Rasasi Hawas is my most complimented fragrance from the young ladies age 16-26. Young ladies will walk-up to me in a restaurant to ask what I'm wearing. However, Eau Extreme receives complements from all age groups, from 18 to 88. Top-notch choices.

I have and did tested both the YSL Saint Laurent EDP and La Male EDT. YSL is a little bit on the sweet side. But when i was wearing Le Male one day on work. I got compliments from several women, while one of them was blinking her eyes rapidly and she just told 'i just can't get enough' of this smell you have 🙂🤭. Idk why... but i got more compliments with La Male than Dior too. The reason can be, Dior is known by most people, so it's not so interesting anymore. So far, Le Male rocks for me, even though most people (especially men) think it's kinda "old" smell. I tell them yes, but the old school stuff work like a charm 😉. The same would go for one of my favorite fragrances of all time. Old Spice 😎 haaa
So happy to see you talking about one of my favorites fragrances, Black Orchid. Was the guilty of my return to the perfumes world after years. And you are right, even being a fragrance tagged as a women scent I find it more for men. Actually I barely can imagine a woman who can hold properly this redolence. The first time I smelled it was in a duty free store at the airport very early in the morning. Still asleep I went to the Tom Ford stage and try a few bottles getting in the feminine part of the shelf without know it and when I put this on the paper test directly knew that it should be the one to try in my own skin. After a few minutes while I was queuing to get into the plane I decided to check the notes in Fragrantica and I realized it was tagged as a women scent but I didn´t feel it was. I was already decided to buy it once I will arrive to my destiny. Since then is in my collection and is one of my favorites. A very personal smell with tons of character and full of nooks to explore for your nose with an amazing performance. The unique floral scent that drives me crazy. Top top ;)

It smells like lipstick and chocolates and I never received a compliment while wearing it. In fact, I had one gal tell me that I smell I was wearing a ladies perfume, and all three of my daughters didn't like it on my skin. However, they did enjoy the scent and used all my juice. Personally, I don't like Dior Homme or Dior Homme Intense (too feminine) and I have more than 25 Dior fragrances. It's a quality fragrances...just make sure you try it first. Cheers.

If Chanel allure sport is #2, in my humble opinion, I believe Dior Saivage should be #1. Though I’m not wearing my sauvage bottle as much anymore, the vast majority of the population still doesn’t know what you’re wearing. It’s only other fragrance enthusiasts that know! But I bought guerlain héritage and that’s one of my fave’s, and recently acquired ambre nuit. Wow they smell similar, and I actually prefer guerlain over Dior! They give me the same vibe, and I find it interesting knowing your tastes now... another fragrance that gives me the same vibe is Polo green. You should try it and let us know what you think!

Was mainly looking for ideas for her, but saw this listed, figured I'd watch it first.... I love Black Orchid too. Have 2 bottles. Wear it all the time. Also love TF Noir pour Femme on me. More so than TF Noir, which I also have and wear. Love DHI too! Not huge on DHP. Love Boss The Scent Private Accord too! Love the chcolate and ginger. Beautiful. Agree on L'Nuit L'Homme too! Gets dissed a lot by the usual suspect male reviewers out there Will try the Vaneta, but always wary of EDT, except Le Male and 24 Gold. The only 2 EDT's I own. Wait...I do have Chanel Antaeus, a guilty personal pleasure. Le Male. Agree. Also have and love the Essence parfum. Luna Rosa Black. You're essentially choosing my designer rotation. I like the whole LR line, but Black does get worn more than the others by me. Allure Homme Sport. Check. Tom Ford Black Orchid is ALWAYS a complimentary go-to. I have had men and there ladies approach me with "Wow; What on earth is that you're wearing?!" Out if the blue, I wear it more than anything, even Creed. Try it
I've been wanting a bottle of that Luna Rossa Black for a little while now. The tonka is just the right amount and when it fades to the background the Angelica and other notes blend so well. Slightly dark and slightly fresh and just awesome stuff. I think the tonka in Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme is way too heavy. It smells super synthetic to me, like chalky candy.
TF Black Orchid! Yess! So happy to see it get some love. Quick story: So I always would got crap from friends and fam for having this in my collection. It's a women's perfume. Why would you own it...blah...blah...blah. So I was like aight gonna test this out. Made a point to wear it anytime I hung out with them. However, I learnt La Nuit de l'homme from Jeremy Fragrance and actually I use it the most. ADG profumo is a good fresh fragrance especially in autumn and even in winter due to it being long lasting.

Totally agree about "Y" but I also like the "Eau de Toilette". The middle and base tones are amazing. Strictly on my point of view (or smell :) ), because there are some guys that think we all should like the same fragrance. They also consider themselves as the owners of the supreme smell.
I got Bottega Venneta PHE last year and when I first smelled it I was really upset because I thought I just made a huge blind buy mistake, but the more i come back to it the more I like it. That stuff is a PINE BOMB it does not play around, it's really nice though you just have to be sure to apply conservatively because it's an absolute powerhouse.
Bought a new tester of YSL Y EDP online, everything checks out, it’s a legit. Wore it for my first time yesterday at work & 4 compliments throughout the day, 4 different coworkers. 2 guys, 2 girls. Went to the gym later that night & got asked by the guy next to me what I was wearing on the treadmills. 5 compliments in one day. La nuit de l'homme is a scent that I never wear but totally love, I wore it a few times and attracted attention that was very hard to get rid of... I wear it to bed mostly, when I'm alone. It's like funky cold modina, you don't mess around with it.

I got a decant of the Y EDP and while I can appreciate why some people like it, it's a little too sweet for me. I did get all excited when it came up as #1 though. "HEY WAIT I HAVE THAT!"
Dior Homme Intense, it smells not that good in the beginning, but after 20 min. or so the Fragrance transforms into a Sexy, Manly and a bit mature smell. I like it. And most of the Ladies like it too.
Dior homme intense was my signature perfume for a few years. I totally agree with how you described it! I also enjoyed wearing Guerlain l'instant during fall time. Those 2 fragrances are powerhouses in terms of smell and longevity. The type of fragrances you keep a secret.
@@dzdz773 for the winter time I wear dark, amber, oud types of fragrances. Also remember that there are day and night time frangrances. I just sold my Dior Sauvage and Viktor Rolf Spicebomb and looking for something myself. I purchased a Creed Aventus atomiser (5ml) and it is sublime. I'm planning on selling a couple of more fragrances and grabbing a full bottle of Aventus.
For my own collection. I use JPG Le male as Winter fragrance. Because I’m from a tropical country. Bold and warm fragrance like le male is not a good choice at all. But now I live in Australia, I found out Le male is ultra sexy during winter, especially when the temperature goes below 16. For casual, I use John Varvatos Artisan. Same feeling as Creed Aventus, cheaper, fresh and last about 2,3 hours, barely enough to use though. I make it my signature smell. For work and client meeting, I use Hugo Boss Music. It smells like professional enough to wear to work but not too strict to express myself as chill, calm person. For hot summer in Melbourne which can goes up to 42 degree. I don’t want to wear fragrance. But if I do, i simply use Davidoff cool water, super “cool”, simple, direct and super cheap too. I have Creed Aventus too but it is too expensive, I only use it when go to fancy dinners with my girl. Even she prefers Artisan... I am looking for another smell for night casual, which is a little bit warmer than Artisan, I’m considering between Dior Sauvage, YSL la nuit and may be something else... For anyone wants a casual fragrance, I recommend Ysl Y, medium long lasting, easy fo wear, not too simple but enough to make you feel confident.
Chanel recommends to spray their fragrances on your clothes aswell. I hear many people complain about performance specially with allure home sport eau extreme. Yes it got reformulated but the thing with most chanel fragrances is that other people around you will smell you.

Just bought y edp today. Very good release. I was curious, you always talk about Layton, what do you think about pegasus? It's probably my favorite fragrance I own because it is unique compared to most others I own. Layton is definitely amazing though because I have that one too.
But I already have Aqua di Gio and Creed Aventus Cologne so I wanted something a bit heavier for a date or more elegant occasion. Creed Aventus cologne can work but how she describes this being fresh but not overly citrusy.
I literally just got my first bottle after blind buying it. It is AMAZING. It’s now going to be my signature scent. It’s the last addition to my 5 top fragrances that I’ve been slowly researching and acquiring. 1st was Aqua Di Gio Profumo, 2nd was Prada L’Homme EDT, 3rd was Dior Sauvage EDT, 4th was La Nuit Del’Homme EDT and finally just got the Allure Homme Sport Extreme. Hands down the most versatile fragrance for a signature scent.

I own both Allure Homme Sport & Versage Pour Homme. They're basically the same. But I have to agree that Aqua di Gio a different type of fresh is. Imo a way better one.

The first has some of peach that make it sooo fresh and it last so much on my skin.. The second one contains tonka beans, coffee, and coconut.. It's a beautiful frangrance but it doesn't last as much as "the scent"..if you have the chance to smell them I 'll be glad to know your opinion.. I'm one of the fans of Hugo boss fragrances.. Velours from the collection Le Vestiaire des Parfums has a similar feel to Dior Homme Parfum. They aren't identical, but they are in the same ballpark and imo Velours would make a decent substitute since DHP is now discontinued. No need to waste time chasing vintages since there is so much good stuff out there.
I feel lucky because la nuit de l'homme proyects quite well, happy new year girl P.D. is not that I don't like allure home SEU is just I can't smell it, people around me says that smells good

WavyWonder Definitely not for Summer when it’s boiling. More made for colder winter days. It’s a phenomenal scent no doubt, especially the dry down.

It smells like lipstick and chocolates and I never received a compliment while wearing it. In fact, I had one gal tell me that I smell I was wearing a ladies perfume, and all three of my daughters didn't like it on my skin. However, they did enjoy the scent and used all my juice. Personally, I don't like Dior Homme or Dior Homme Intense (too feminine) and I have more than 25 Dior fragrances. It's a quality fragrances...just make sure you try it first. Cheers.

If Chanel allure sport is #2, in my humble opinion, I believe Dior Saivage should be #1. Though I’m not wearing my sauvage bottle as much anymore, the vast majority of the population still doesn’t know what you’re wearing. It’s only other fragrance enthusiasts that know! But I bought guerlain héritage and that’s one of my fave’s, and recently acquired ambre nuit. Wow they smell similar, and I actually prefer guerlain over Dior! They give me the same vibe, and I find it interesting knowing your tastes now... another fragrance that gives me the same vibe is Polo green. You should try it and let us know what you think!

Luna Rosa Black. You're essentially choosing my designer rotation. I like the whole LR line, but Black does get worn more than the others by me.
Allure Homme Sport. Check. Gets dusty on my shelf during the colder months for me, but wear the hell out of it 5 months a year.

Tom Ford Black Orchid is ALWAYS a complimentary go-to. I have had men and there ladies approach me with "Wow; What on earth is that you're wearing?!" Out if the blue, I wear it more than anything, even Creed. Try it

I've been wanting a bottle of that Luna Rossa Black for a little while now. The tonka is just the right amount and when it fades to the background the Angelica and other notes blend so well. Slightly dark and slightly fresh and just awesome stuff.
I think the tonka in Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme is way too heavy. It smells super synthetic to me, like chalky candy.

TF Black Orchid! Yess! So happy to see it get some love. Quick story: So I always would got crap from friends and fam for having this in my collection. It's a women's perfume. Why would you own it...blah...blah...blah. So I was like aight gonna test this out. Made a point to wear it anytime I hung out with them. And I am proud to say each and everyone of them had to eat there words, b/c they said it smelled amazing on me. Anyway, Great vid as always and great list Demi.

@@christopherr6363 I first bought ADG (the normal best selling one). Then I learned about ADG profumo. I discovered Jeremy Fragrance much later. However, I learnt La Nuit de l'homme from Jeremy Fragrance and actually I use it the most. ADG profumo is a good fresh fragrance especially in autumn and even in winter due to it being long lasting.

Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme is the best all around fragrance in my collection of over 100 bottles. It's an easy choice for a signature scent . . . if I was forced to choose just one.

Totally agree about "Y" but I also like the "Eau de Toilette". The middle and base tones are amazing.
Strictly on my point of view (or smell :) ), because there are some guys that think we all should like the same fragrance. They also consider themselves as the owners of the supreme smell.
I got Bottega Venneta PHE last year and when I first smelled it I was really upset because I thought I just made a huge blind buy mistake, but the more i come back to it the more I like it. That stuff is a PINE BOMB it does not play around, it's really nice though you just have to be sure to apply conservatively because it's an absolute powerhouse.
Bought a new tester of YSL Y EDP online, everything checks out, it’s a legit. Wore it for my first time yesterday at work & 4 compliments throughout the day, 4 different coworkers. 2 guys, 2 girls. Went to the gym later that night & got asked by the guy next to me what I was wearing on the treadmills. 5 compliments in one day. It’s a beast, and that’s because I have over 60 bottles of fragrances & this one went head to head with my Pineapple Vintage Intense. Can’t wait to wear it out more. SOTD: Parfums Vintage Suave

I got a decant of the Y EDP and while I can appreciate why some people like it, it's a little too sweet for me. I did get all excited when it came up as #1 though.

Dior Homme Intense, it smells not that good in the beginning, but after 20 min. or so the Fragrance transforms into a Sexy, Manly and a bit mature smell. I like it. And most of the Ladies like it too.

Dior homme intense was my signature perfume for a few years. I totally agree with how you described it! I also enjoyed wearing Guerlain l'instant during fall time. Those 2 fragrances are powerhouses in terms of smell and longevity. The type of fragrances you keep a secret.

@@dzdz773 for the winter time I wear dark, amber, oud types of fragrances. Also remember that there are day and night time frangrances. I just sold my Dior Sauvage and Viktor Rolf Spicebomb and looking for something myself. I purchased a Creed Aventus atomiser (5ml) and it is sublime. I'm planning on selling a couple of more fragrances and grabbing a full bottle of Aventus.
For my own collection. I use JPG Le male as Winter fragrance. Because I’m from a tropical country. Bold and warm fragrance like le male is not a good choice at all. But now I live in Australia, I found out Le male is ultra sexy during winter, especially when the temperature goes below 16.
For casual, I use John Varvatos Artisan. Same feeling as Creed Aventus, cheaper, fresh and last about 2,3 hours, barely enough to use though. I make it my signature smell.
For work and client meeting, I use Hugo Boss Music. It smells like professional enough to wear to work but not too strict to express myself as chill, calm person.
For hot summer in Melbourne which can goes up to 42 degree. I don’t want to wear fragrance. But if I do, i simply use Davidoff cool water, super “cool”, simple, direct and super cheap too.
I have Creed Aventus too but it is too expensive, I only use it when go to fancy dinners with my girl. Even she prefers Artisan...
I am looking for another smell for night casual, which is a little bit warmer than Artisan, I’m considering between Dior Sauvage, YSL la nuit and may be something else...
For anyone wants a casual fragrance, I recommend Ysl Y, medium long lasting, easy fo wear, not too simple but enough to make you feel confident.

Chanel recommends to spray their fragrances on your clothes aswell. I hear many people complain about performance specially with allure home sport eau extreme. Yes it got reformulated but the thing with most chanel fragrances is that other people around you will smell you.

No one had anything bad to say about either of the colognes. Just when I asked them which one they’d rather smell more often or on their boyfriend. They allllll said Chanel. Was crazy.

Just bought y edp today. Very good release. I was curious, you always talk about Layton, what do you think about pegasus? It's probably my favorite fragrance I own because it is unique compared to most others I own. Layton is definitely amazing though because I have that one too.

But I already have Aqua di Gio and Creed Aventus Cologne so I wanted something a bit heavier for a date or more elegant occasion. Creed Aventus cologne can work but how she describes this being fresh but not overly citrusy.
I literally just got my first bottle after blind buying it. It is AMAZING. It’s now going to be my signature scent. It’s the last addition to my 5 top fragrances that I’ve been slowly researching and acquiring. 1st was Aqua Di Gio Profumo, 2nd was Prada L’Homme EDT, 3rd was Dior Sauvage EDT, 4th was La Nuit Del’Homme EDT and finally just got the Allure Homme Sport Extreme. Hands down the most versatile fragrance for a signature scent.

I own both Allure Homme Sport & Versage Pour Homme. They're basically the same. But I have to agree that Aqua di Gio a different type of fresh is. Imo a way better one.

The first has some of peach that make it sooo fresh and it last so much on my skin.. The second one contains tonka beans, coffee, and coconut.. It's a beautiful frangrance but it doesn't last as much as "the scent"..if you have the chance to smell them I 'll be glad to know your opinion.. I'm one of the fans of Hugo boss fragrances.. Velours from the collection Le Vestiaire des Parfums has a similar feel to Dior Homme Parfum. They aren't identical, but they are in the same ballpark and imo Velours would make a decent substitute since DHP is now discontinued. No need to waste time chasing vintages since there is so much good stuff out there.
