Vodka, a staple in many iconic cocktails, traces its origins to the lands of Eastern Europe, encompassing countries like Russia, Poland, Belarus, and Ukraine. But what makes vodka truly stand out is not just where it's from, but how it's made and distilled.

Great points my friend. Vodka can actually be made from anything (fruits, vegetables, grapes, grains, beans, sugarcane, agave, etc) basically anything with fermentable starches or sugars. This is because of how it is distilled. Vodka is distilled at over 90 proof; that's almost pure alcohol. Hence resulting in a neutral spirit where most of the aroma and flavor components of the raw material used to make it are stripped out.
Thank you... Hope I was able to break it down enough.
