Apparently, before originals ended they were in the process of starting Legacies and the actors that play Klaus sand Elijah said they wanted to take a break from those roles and wouldn’t jump right in to legacies... so Julie decided to kill them off which surprised and disappointed them.

Because if you watched the legacies when Lizzie wished Hope died, Klaus turned off his humanity and exposed the world to supernatural creatures. But it wasn’t that bad that time in the originals because Klaus knew he was keeping Hope safe.

I def think that it was hard on them both and that might be why Klaus was kinda frustrated too in this ep cuz it wasn’t like he really wanted to do what he did. I mean after spending so much time locked up and to only spend a few months with your daughter is incredibly hard I’m sure.
Hope isn't a vampire yet. Hope didn't die when she does she will stop ageing. That's how hope is able to get older(she can even turn into a vampire when she's 80....no one knows when she will die.)

legacies is for like baby teens. the show is utter BS, a disgrace to the originals. A real real shame. How can the continuation to the originals be so, so fucking bad. More to a half ass comedy series. It's like the writer just graduated from Disney. How did they make a complete 180. The show feels like its written by a bunch of teenagers. The only reason ppl watch it is they cling to hope (not hope Mikaelson) but the hope that they see some sort of comeback from the originals. but the more u watch it, the more that hope get shattered.
It’s criminal that we never got more of Father Klaus and Hope. Killing him and Elijah off with no hope of appearing on Legacies is some BS.
