Just found you yesterday after I purchased a wig online. I have been binge watching and am learning so much. I have never owned a wig before. Purchasing because of major hair loss. I think the left woman looks better in darker wigs ,not too light. The right woman seems to look good in all colours and wig models.

I live in an area where there isn’t a brick and mortar store within 50-75 miles. I have thought about starting one but don’t really know where to start. Anyone have any advice of a good starting point?

Stupid question, but are you able to scratch an itch on your head while wearing a wig? That is my biggest concern due to a medical condition I have that is not only making me lose my hair, but causes itching. Am afraid I would never be able to "address the itch" while wearing a wig:)
Definitely not with a fully hand-tied cap but an open cap has wefts in which you can get your fingers through yes. :)

T.R. Bane the open cap part is at the back. Most styles can be manipulated to change the part while others it just won’t work on. Monofilament, generally, always allows multidirectional parting.

are you suppose to catch any hair under your glasses...put the arms of the glasses under the wig?
That is a personal preference but we usually put our glasses underneath the wig.
I checked on Amazon for the hair tool...Ceramic $40.00, Tourmaline $50.00, Charcoal infused $80.00.any suggestions please thanks.
Sean Mock as we stated on the previous comment, we only recommend the Hot Tools brand that is plastic. No ceramic, metal, titanium, tourmaline or charcoal infused as they get too hot.
I really wish you would film this in better quality. Out of focus it's hard to tell really what the wigs look like. I'm surprised you posted it like this.

Why in the world would y'all wait until the very end of this review to mention that these can't be bought online?? I am SO far (across country) from your store and have nothing close by. Your video was very nice. It was the second one I've seen, but I sure wish I'd known these were unavailable to me. I really liked the Haley (sp?). Disappointed that I don't have access, but I guess that is JR's marketing decision, not y'alls.
Kathy Kilduff Thank you for watching. Jon Renau provides a full array of styles within their line that are available on line, however, the Professionel line is not. We will try to make that clear in the beginning as several other manufacturers also have lines that must be purchased in a wig salon.

I bought a miml wig from ad on t.v. I wanted a blonde short wig...and it was brunette, and it was horrible. I tried to send it back...but they had no return address or phone number. The wig was made in China. Go fiqure!

Sean Mock the only one we EVER recommend is the Hot Tools Professional Hot Air Brush. It is plastic, you CANNOT use anything other than the plastic ones or you will burn and ruin the fiber. You can buy one at Sally Beauty Supply or if you are in Dallas from us. 😊

I wonder how it’s possible that anyone that puts a wig on looks marvellous while on me it still looks as fake as a wig ☹️
That is a common thing people think. It is all about just finding the right style in the right color for you and sometimes that takes some time. Your best bet is to find a Wig Boutique and go in and spend some time trying some things on. Talk to the wig professionals there and see what modifications, if any, can be done to make the wig more natural for you. Best wishes!
Make sure you have your head measured. Every wig looks ridiculous on me. Finally, the store gal measured my head ..."oh, you're a Petite!" Gee I wish you would have thought of that an hour ago.... And their store only had 4 "old lady" styles in their store... All old fashioned and gray, but they fit amazing.
SO, I called Mimi's and they had the exact Jon Renau style I wanted in Petite ordered and it will be in their store within 10 days (including thru the Thanksgiving holidays). So in about 2 weeks total I will have my new petite wig. Can't wait! Good luck

I avoid Jon Renau because I found they don’t last.
I feel that way about Raquel Welch's wigs. Especially that heat friendly fiber; frizzes badly.
@@k.popper2620 Yes, so do I. I found Noriko the longest-lasting, however, you have to customise them by razoring, layering and thinning because they can look like a big helmet.
