❤ I've gone from 194 to 152 in 9 mos on the 2.5. I haven't had to titrate up, thankfully and now I'm doing a shot every month to lose the last 2 lbs and stay around 150-ish.
@@cameliaminoiu967 I did for a month until I realized it was still working after 7 days and then I started doing the shot when the food noise started coming back and that worked like a charm.
Stay on 2.5 as long as you can because 5.mg is not the best. I wish I stayed on 2.5mg because I had no appetite At All! But the 5mg I'm doing meditation, prayer, affirmations, etc to stay on course and fight the head hunger. Uggh. Just walking walking walking.

I needed to do something (Compounding) to keep from losing my progress. Again thank you for you inspirational Vlogs on these GLP-1's
Thanks for keeping it real! You are refreshing to watch. I just started week one but went into it doing tons of research. I hate the stigma that we are “taking the easy way out”. Lifestyle changes that you are not used to is NOT easy so I’m proud of myself for doing the walking, making smarter food choices, water drinking, and not ordering the pizza! Emptying out my bedside chocolate stash was difficult too! Anyway, I believe our prescribing providers should educate their pts on the importance of lifestyle modifications necessary for success on these meds. It takes a lot of work. There simply is no “magic shot”.
♥Thanks for this video. Best one I have seen on the subject. I am on my second dose of 2.5 and no one has told me anything of what to expect. Can't tell you how much this helped me. Good on you!
Hi ya, I've been on mounjaro for a month, and I feel no different. I was worried it wasn't working and was getting discouraged. I'm starting 5mg on sunday and can't wait. I'm going to watch all your videos. Love how you present information and not talk about irrelevant topics. Thank you ❤😊

I'm never going to be a person who mixes up protein powder and flax seeds and makes a complicated smoothie every day. But, eating more protein, drinking lots of water and getting enough fiber - I can do that!

❤ I'm on my first week of 2.5mg. Minimal appetite suppression and I'm scared to check the scales at the end of week 1 😩 but watching this video has given me hope. ❤
This is true . I must have missed this video earlier before starting . I am starting the next dose in a week . The 2.5 I had no weight loss but no weight gain ! Looking forward to the next steps . But this month has been good for rethinking food and the relationship Thank you ❤
Thank you for posting this. I am in my first month and have not lost that much and I am doing everything right, including working out, eating more protein and drinking plenty of water. I was starting to think perimenopause was also making this difficult for me.
This video was great. I am lucky that my doctor did explain not to expect a lot of weight loss my first month. I noticed severe appetite suppression from my 1st shot which made me eat much less. I did lose 10.8 lbs but I was also eating low carb so I am sure that factored in as well. Yesterday was my 2nd dose of 2.5mg and today I have no appetite and feel super tired. I need to work it so I take my shots on Friday so I have the weekends to recover. I am still trying to balance out an eating plan but as for now I am just focusing on protein and low carb.
I know the material indicates it is not a therapeutic dose, but I hear a lot of people and I am in that group have managed to lose over 30 pounds being on 2.5 mg and my sugars are controlled as I am a diabetic. I have been able to get off two of my other diabetic medication‘s, 5 mg with other blood sugar medications have multiple low sugars which is not a good thing so I am staying with 2.5 and have been at my maintenance weight since January.
❤Brittany, Thank you for your posts. I have learned more info about using Zepbound as a weight loss tool. From you then I have from my Doctor. I’ve watched 3 of your videos and am much better informed to start taking my 5 mg dose tomorrow. I have behaved well all month and lost only 5 lbs. Now I know why. So now I am motived to tackle month two. ❤ FYI your to the point commentary is much appreciated. I have watched other people’s videos and quit because their whiny approach just turned me off. Keep up the awesome work. Thanks Beverly
I’ve been on 2.5mg of Tirzepatide for three weeks with 1000mg of Metformin. I’ve shed 9lbs, already! My appetite is pretty much nonexistent and the amount of food that I find myself full at, is that of a toddler. I have also been struggling with some nausea after the first meal of the day. My doc prescribed Zofrane to help me work through it. 2.5mg is MORE than enough for me. I won’t be moving up in dose until my weightloss stalls or my appetite increases.
Pathetically for me, it was the only way I could lose weight, not having an appetite. That was the late 80s when diet pills flooded the market. I barely had an appetite and looked FANTASTIC 😂 but they took them all off the market due to ppl dying on them. I didn’t gain weight til I moved for someone and had a sit down job, I was in my early 30s, and once I gained it I was never able to lose that weight.
I am so happy to have found this video. I am getting ready to be on week four of my first month with mounjaro. You are explaining the very things I have been curious about being a newbie. Thank you for making it understandable. I may ask a bunch of questions so please bear with me. I would be grateful to you and your followers in answering what may be dumb questions to y’all. Thank you, thank all of you in advance and God Bless.
I did 2.5 starting out. Went to 3 after a month. Not much weight loss in the beginning. Then it started to slowly come off. Then went to 3.5. Meh… 4 put me in the bed for 3 days with nausea and complete fatigue!!!! Went back to 3.5 for a couple weeks. Then 3 for a month. Back to 2.5 for a couple months. Still losing weight! I’m at my goal weight now and doing 1.5 a week. If that goes good, I’d like to do 1.0 a week. If the voices come back, I’ll up it again. But what sticks out during my journey is being sooooo tired all the time!!!!! Muscle loss and severe fatigue! But I started getting my energy back when I went down to 1.5 and I’m lifting weights again!! Yayyyy!!!! I’ve been on this journey 8 months and I’ve lost 30 pounds and I’m no longer pre diabetic!🙏👏
❤ I'm just transitioning from Wegovy to Zepbound. I really like your video. It's just the right amount of info. I look forward to watching your other videos along my journey.
❤ Thanks for sharing this realistic info on mounjaro. I'm strongly considering this option to control my A1c and weight loss. I'm in research mode and this was very helpful.
❤ I was just diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and prescribed 2.5 mounjaro. I’ve been afraid to pick up the prescription because of possible side effects, but your video makes it seem less intimidating.
I started on 2.5mg Mounjaro August 26th and lost 30 lbs. the first month. Now I'm down from 208 to 165 and it's still under 2 months since I started. It's amazing stuff. I am on the compounded version since insurance doesn't cover it, but it is definitely working!! I've had some nausea and weakness, but they kept me on 2.5mg since I'm losing weight so quick. I'm also doing Ruthless, which is a 20 minute workout program similar to Insanity with intense circuit training.
@@AZNGoSu I just got moved up to 5mg yesterday. So, since August 26th I've lost 45 lbs. now. I felt kind of weak losing the weight so quick, but I'm also on Phentermine twice a day which gives me some energy. I am on the super combo I guess you could say lol. I'm working out everyday for 20 minutes of intense interval circuit training. All bodyweight exercises. It's a program called Ruthless which is similar to Insanity. I'm eating around 1200 calories a day and keeping protein high. I only want to lose 20 more pounds and then maintain. I will probably try just taking the phentermine when I get to where I want to be as it is cheaper.
❤ Thank you so much for this video! I’m now on week 2. I lost 4 pounds my first week!🎊🎉 I started out 224 I’m 5’2 and 50ish in age. I did start working out along with the shot. For the first week the first few days the appetite suppression was extreme! I wondered if I would want to eat ever again. 😂Then it tapered off days 4 - 7. However, I was then able to eat a normal meal and I didn’t want anything else. I agree with you. Take things slow, don’t expect to lose a bunch of weight in a month. Also, everyone is different. I’ve always hated the scale because it can be temperamental. I suggest weighing one a week and that’s all. Again thanks for sharing!❤
❤ Glad I found you! You talk sense! I was watching someone else but wasn't long in discovering she was just all about selling etc! I just took my 4th injection of Mounjaro on Monday 9th September and so far I have lost 1 stone! I lost it by my second week but nothing since then 😪. I was planning on staying on 2.5 Mounjaro for as long as possible as I have many saying that's the best thing to do? , I already have my next month's 2.5 injections so I'll see how it goes for the next month.
❤ Im a new subscriber and really loving your videos. I’m on my 2nd week of Wegovy and really find your videos so helpful and informative. Keep up the good work!
Week 3 of 2.5 mg! Worried about shortages as I’ll be asking my dr about moving to 5 mg next. I’ve definitely felt the effects of the appetite suppressants. Ive been eating healthier and walking 3-4 times/ week for 45mins- 1 hour. Only con /side effect is that I’ve noticed that I’ll have digestion issues after drinking alcohol/ mixed drinks.
Taking 1st dose today. Goal weight 128. Starting Gym this evening. Need to up water intake. I agree Dr told me the first 4 weeks is to get body use to it. She stresses I might lose 3 lbs. Trusting the process.
I was extremely edgy and irritable for 2-3 days following my very first dose of Mounjaro 2.5mg I haven't had symptoms of PMS for many, many years.... I'm 58 and had total hysterectomy in 2016, no HRT after surgery. I'm like a mood swing virgin again! 💜💜💜💜
❤❤❤❤❤❤ so thankful for you! I just started this week and as you said…I was stressing out and driving myself crazy reading everything and trying to implement it all…I’m going to just take the simple route and keep doing keto and addressing anything as it comes. Thank you so much for your advice I really appreciate it,y appreciate you.
I was newly diagnosed with diabetes and am taking Mounjaro to lower my A1C. I am trying not to weigh myself or have expectations of weight loss because I've spent 60 years of diet-weight insanity and I'm getting off that train i will be surprised or not the next time I have to get on a scale.
Excellent video on my second week and I dropped 7 pounds already drink plenty of water. Make sure it's Luke warm or better off tea walk at least 10,000 steps a day.❤️❤️
I started Mournjaro at 2.5mg, ti lower my A1c. I have taken 5 injectables, 5 weeks. I started at 176lbs I am now 155lbs. Appetite NONE. Nausea is only side effect. One hour before taking the injectable I take a Dramamine tablet(Nausea). I do not crave. sweets. If I try to eat something sweet it seems inedible to me. The sweetness is gross and nauseauating. It works well for me.❤
I'm in week one but I think my case is a little different since I had bariatric surgery five years ago this stuff is working amazing I'm not hungry and even when I get the hunger pains, I can look at food and not be interested. I'm actually eating back at the same portion size I used to eatwhen I first had my surgery and I'm loving it because I'm focused on other things besides but I can't wait to go to the higher doses.
Im on week one @ 2.5 on Zepbound and sadly so far I havent noticed a change in appetite and/or "food noise". I did start to diet regardless. I suspect I will need to increase BUT! Id rather start low and get my body used to it and then slowly increase. Hopefully something will kick on soon enough

Thank you for making it understandable. I may ask a bunch of questions so please bear with me. I would be grateful to you and your followers in answering what may be dumb questions to y’all. Thank you, thank all of you in advance and God Bless.
❤ thank you for your positive encouragement!
❤ insurance finally approved Zepbound for me and I will start soon. I am so thankful I found you and your channel ❤️
I’m so happy for you! Let us know if you’re able to get it filled easily!
Wow! What ins do you have. Mine won’t cover it at all
@@maryd7081 I have Cigna, they started coverage July 1st
Thank you for sharing info on 2.5mg cause I haven't loss anything yet.
Starting my first dose on Friday of 2.5 thanks for sharing
You’re going to do great!!
❤❤❤thankyou for your practical help. Just started my journey
❤ I started 2.5 today
How you getting on with it I start Thursday 👍
3 weeks on 2.5 mg zepbound. And NO weight loss. I only feel appetite suppression on day 1 and 2, then nothing. Glad I'm not alone.
You’re the best at keeping it real - thank you so much❤
Thanks for being honest and encouraging us!
❤ thank you so much for sharing this information 😊
❤ Very helpful video - thank you. I just started ZepBound today hoping to lose between 40-50lbs. I appreciate your video
❤❤thank u for info- straight up info that is helpful and real. I appreciate u❤
This is both my SW and GW. Did you stick on 2.5 the whole time? How did it feel losing what looks to be almost 5 pounds a week?
❤ will you still be doing updates on your journey videos? Like how you are feeling, what you are eating and all that?
Yes! I’ll have an update on that this Friday
I’ve watched nearly every one of ur videos… love them! ❤
Stating today! Thank you for all the info! ❤
How much weight have u lost so far?
Taking 1st dose today. Goal weight 128. Starting Gym this evening. Need to up water intake. I agree Dr told me the first 4 weeks is to get body use to it. She stresses I might lose 3 lbs. Trusting the process.
❤️ just getting started. Your channel is awesome!!
I was extremely edgy and irritable for 2-3 days following my very first dose of Mounjaro 2.5mg
I haven't had symptoms of PMS for many, many years.... I'm 58 and had total hysterectomy in 2016, no HRT after surgery.
I'm like a mood swing virgin again!
💜💜💜💜
Omg, that sounds scary, I already deal with pms.
Love you! So inspiring! ❤
❤️ just getting started so I’m really nervous. I’ve been the big guy pretty much my whole life.
You are so right about all the videos out there, they become very comercialized. Most of them want to sell something.
Thank you so much for this video I just started my second week and needed to hear this. ❤
❤
Just began my journey. Will keep you updated.
It works well for me.❤
❤ great info, I'm starting Zepbound soon.
Just took my first shot 2 days ago, thank you this helped a lot! ❤️
Thank you for your honest information.
♥ Thank you. I'm just starting this weekend and I love your practical advise!
Great info!♥♥♥
I'm in week one but I think my case is a little different since I had bariatric surgery five years ago this stuff is working amazing I'm not hungry and even when I get the hunger pains, I can look at food and not be interested. I'm actually eating back at the same portion size I used to eatwhen I first had my surgery and I'm loving it because I'm focused on other things besides but I can't wait to go to the higher doses.
❤ Thanks, I am on the 2.5 and this was helpful!
I’m on my 3rd week of 2.5. Good to know. Felt results are a little slow
I like your energy You're real
The low dose is working fine for me. I am using it as a too though as part of making positive diet and exercise changes.
I just finished one month at 2.5 and haven’t noticed anything. So they increased it to 5
So glad you shared this. Thanks.
❤ great job. Thank you.
A star and a heart -- for the algo.
Thanks lots for the all information you share with us 🎉
❤brand new here. Hi from Scotland. Going to catch up on your journey from start to finish. Very helpful. I start munjaro on Thursday . (31st October 2024) wish me luck 🎉
❤This is my first day starting this journey. I saw 1 video before this one, thanks for your advice I'm not going to go watch a million more videos and get stressed out. Also I'm interested in joining the facebook group. Where is the link for that?
Am finally finishing my 2.5 ready to go to the 5 had side effects first shot for two days then no more problems
Thanks for the info ❤️❤️❤️😊
